Fredligt lakefront hus mitt i Amish Country. Perfekt hyresfastighet för familjer, killar som spelar golf, flickor på helger. Bara 15 miles från Shipshewanna, charmig Amish Town med fantastiska restauranger och shopping. Enkel åtkomst endast 6 miles från Indianna Toll Road. 2 1/2 timme från Chicago eller 2 1/2 timme från Detroit. Våren är en härlig tid på året att titta på födelsen av en ny säsong.

Oavsett säsong förtjänar du och din familj en chans att dekomprimera. För att känna sanden mellan tårna, läs en bok i solrummet och förundras över skönheten i en gyllene solnedgång. Du kommer att njuta av ett rymligt hus som sover upp till 8 bekvämt, med en plan i tre plan med ett ljust kök, stort matrum, vardagsrum och rekreationsrum. Med front-to-back cross-vindar och takfläktar, till och med augusti nätter är bekvämt att sova. Sjön och stranden ligger precis i vår trädgård. Det viktigaste av allt är att du får däck med utsikt över sjön - perfekt för avslappnad middag, solning, läsning, avslappnad konversation, njut av utomhuspeisen och mest av allt för att se magnifika solnedgångar. Amazing place to unwind and escape the world for a moment. Children loved swimming and fishing in the lake. House was clean and was definitely more than beat expectations.

Wedding weekend

I had lived in this neighborhood 50 years ago. So this was a homecoming for me. My son who was with me enjoyed showing his children where he had visited his grandparents. The home is very inviting. The property is quiet and beautifully landscaped. Very much enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful house with multiple seating areas, and stocked with all your needs. Very modern kitchen and lower bath. Has large deck with large adjacent patio with plenty of seating. Used one of the several kayaks and board. Had 2 fires in the pit by the lake. Wonderful all around stay. One thing to note; the yard slopes down to the water so if you have walking issues you might stay on the deck/patio. I’m 78 and had no problems walking the incline multiple times a day. Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful property and views

We had a group of women stay for a 50th birthday retreat weekend. This was exactly what we needed. Beach area by lake was a nice touch. Kitchen is fully stocked with most items you’d need to cook/grill. We felt right at home, and communication with homeowners is top notch. Fireworks in Sturgis was fantastic to watch on the deck. Would absolutely stay here again!

A Slice of Heaven

We are so happy we found this home. Normally we book a year out for our summer vacation trip but we dropped the ball and didn’t book one until March of this year. Most of the nice huge homes were booked and then we found this gem. It’s large, (so many spaces to find our own nook to read, or just enjoy the view). We didn’t feel like we were on top of each other and the lake was so warm and clean. We would recommend this property, especially if you’re looking to stay with friends and family. The large dining room table and multiple living rooms and outdoor space was perfect.

Layout of house was exactly what we needed.

Very nice place

Watched the pair of swans and the juveniles stroll the lake along with the Canadian geese. Located just minutes from restaurants and grocery stores. A very relaxing place.

Great Stay

We stayed during an extremely hot week and spent most of time inside. The property had everything we needed. Impressive amount of towels, kitchen utensils and refrigerator space!

Who Crew's most excellent adventure

We all had a great time. Really enjoyed the house and all the amenities. The lakefront was very peaceful. Spent lots of time on the deck, patio and in the hot tub.

Everything I expected!

The house was adorable with lots of cute areas to relax and enjoy. Bedrooms were very comfy.

It was a very clean house and perfect for family getaways. Close enough to grocery stores and fast food restaurants. The owners were very easy to work with, always available for questions and help when needed.

Ladies Weekend

We loved everything about the property! Cooking the meals, spending time in the sun room doing artwork, relaxing by the campfire eating s'mores, and shopping in Amish country. My friends and mother came from Ohio and I came from Indiana. It was a great meet in the middle.

Peaceful Lakefront Setting

Beautiful lakefront property on small lake with quiet surroundings. Enjoyed watching swans, blue herons and other wildlife. The grandchildren enjoyed the hot tub, fishing, rowboating and paddleboarding on the lake. The home was very clean and well appointed and met all our needs during our 4 day stay.

A Wonderful Spot to Celebrate Christmas With Our 5 Kids

Perfect spot for a group of friends

7 friends get together for an annual trip. Serendipity on the lake was a great location for us - we enjoyed the views from the deck, the sunroom, and the living room/kitchen. The kitchen was wonderful for our meals and appreciated the charcoal grill with all the necessary supplies. We used the kayak and rowboat to explore the lake, too!

Very Relaxing Stay

Very nice home with everything included to have a wonderful stay. We had 8 adults in our group and we were very comfortable. We have stayed in several home on Homeaway and the bed I slept in was fantastic. We used the kayaks and stand up paddle board and the row boat. Highly recommend if looking for a place to relax and still have access to Chicago. Really cannot go wrong with this house.
