Getaway in Snellville

The location was fantastic. Secluded enough but close enough to food and fun. The host was very slow at responding to emails. Information about check in was very last minute. Did not answer all my questions that I emailed. And the phone number listed in VRBO did not belong to the current host.The place was ok. We’ve definitely stayed in better, but it served the purpose. The shower is awful!!! 2’x2’. When you have claustrophobic tendencies, this shower is a trigger. And the shower curtain liner had mildew stains and the curtain itself had nasty build up on the bottom. And you couldn’t even get the curtain shut all the way. The mirror in the bathroom is low.The temperature was difficult to keep consistent. It was surprisingly cold in the open area but would get super hot in the bedroom. Pretty wooded area behind the property. To improve this VRBO, it would be nice if it had a dishwasher. The size of the kitchen does not permit that. It just would be nice because the pans and utensils were not very clean. We had to clean everything before we used it. No ice machine or ice trays in the freezer. We had to go buy a bag. The mattresses are very hard. Investing in a mattress that isn’t direct coils would be better. It was like sleeping directly on a box spring. The closet in the downstairs bedroom isn’t finished. Not a big deal to us, but that would improve the place. Some mudding and paint goes a long way. It was affordable. But you get what you pay for.

Cute and good for a weekend

We enjoyed the spacious area , it’s small but is open and the bedrooms separated so it feels like it is larger than it is.Pros; It is cleanNo bugsNo smokingCoffeeCooking suppliesUtensilsLinens providedCons:Trash bags tear and are very thinThe oven /stove was difficult to use even after reading the manual in the cabinet. I’d add a pizza cutter (not a big deal but helpful)Shower is quite small and awkward but it works :)The ease of check in and out was good. No issues with parking although it is on a slanted driveway. Quiet .

We loved the cozy home for our 7-day stay. The property is tucked into a peaceful and beautiful yard and driveway away from the street. The home has a deck that was wonderful to sit on and enjoy the outdoors. However, in need of a patio chairs and a bbq would be bonus. The home had everything we needed including plenty of towels and kitchenware. The coffee and hot chocolate bar was used daily and appreciated!! Thank you so much for having us at your property! Highly recommend.

Probably a Nice Stay

This was my first difficult communication experience with STRs, I could not get the host to clearly state that meeting at check-in was a requirement, the check in process stated "we prefer to meet", after repeatedly trying to get clarification, the host cancelled the booking the day of check-in and I had to take that as an answer. I thought it was a silly amount of back and forth and hassle to get a simple direct answer so that I could plan accordingly.

Great weekend getaway

Fantastic stay but…..

Place was beautiful and clean. We were nervous to find it was a converted garage that is close to the main house. But the inside of the home and cleanliness surpassed any indifferences. Unfortunately the only thing keeping me from giving this a full 5 stars is the bed in the master. The mattress was too soft for our liking, but the chief complaint is the bed frame. It is incredibly squeaky and impossible to share when one is a restless sleeper. Besides that, it was an excellent stay.

Surprised!

Once I realized this was a converted garage I was a little worried... But once we got there and saw it, we were all very very happy. It's laid out really well, super comfy and cozy. Very quiet area and well maintained. Only about 15 minutes from stone mountain. Several restaurants and stores are nearby.

Perfect stay

This place was as described and pictured. It was perfect for my husband & I and our two teen kids. The location worked perfect for our visit to Stone Mountain. Clean with everything we needed.

Spring Break Getaway

We had a wonderful week stay here! The property was just what we needed. Very clean, comfortable and quiet. Beds were nice and the rooms were a great size. More than enough space for the four of us. My kids really enjoyed the upstairs loft. Us parents enjoyed it, as well. It's always nice not being all cramped and on top of each other during vacation. And the property was located in an awesome central location. Outside of very busy Atlanta but close enough for when we did head into the city. It was perfect for everything we had planned. The shower was small and a bit tight, but we got on just fine. I was very thankful for all the amenities provided. Coffee, sugar, water, all the kitchen utensils and supplies, etc. The only thing missing that I could have used was a pasta strainer. Other than that, we couldn't have asked for a better experience. Thank you to Irene for allowing us to stay in this beautiful little spot. Bonus was my kids making friends with the very friendly dog next door. We would definitely stay here again. :-)

Peaceful and rested

We came to town early to enjoy different attractions on the city before the shower. We got to come back and enjoy what felt like a home a way from home.

Host was very pleasant and accomodating,place was clean ,cozy and comfortable, our family enjoyed our stay ...the only problem was the shower its a bit small..other than that everything was great
