Our 14' x 36' cabin is located on 15 private acres, with lovely northern views. When your done relaxing on our open and airy 6' front porch step inside to a cozy living area. Sit next to the gas fire place on the leather pull out sofa sleeper or swivel chair. When you are hungry and want to eat, cook your meal in the full kitchen, complete with electric range/oven, microwave & fridge/freezer. Or do you prefer to gill? Gas grill provided. Cabin is furnished with pots, pans, dishes and utensils. After a long day of adventure clean up in the stand up shower and do your laundry in the washer and dryer. Ready to call it a night? Climb into a queen size bed in a private bedroom, or head up to the loft with 2 twin beds.

Enjoy the abundant State Lands and forests located just down the road. We are approximately: 3 miles from the Finger Lakes hiking trail, 7 miles from General Clinton Canoe Regatta, 30 miles to Oneonta, and 45 miles from Cooperstown.

Serval collages are located within a 45 min drive. SUNY Binghamton, SUNY Oneonta, SUNY Morrisville, Hartwick, and Colgate just to name a few.

With all the modern amenities like heat, A/C, WIFI, TV, in a cozy cabin packages - it's like your Bear-ly Camping!

Loved the cabin and view, very clean and wish we had more time to sit outside and walk but were staying for a funeral. It gave us a place to unwind and feel peaceful !Hope to return

Great Cozy Cabin!

This cabin was adorable. It was so cozy and the fireplace was perfect. The cabin was kept extremely clean and stocked well. The location is great in a nice quiet area, but only a 20 minute drive to major stores. Communication with the host was easy, and the fact that it was pet friendly was a huge plus. Our dog loved it. We will definitely stay again if we are in the area. And the foliage during fall was stunning!

The hidden gem

This property was a fantastic place to stay. Out of the way yet close enough to town it gives a great mix of quiet privacy and convenience. The cabin comes as advertised and communication with the owners was a breeze. I wish I had found this earlier in my tenure out here. I hope to be back.

Great stay!

There were a few minor items that should have been cleared better but overall great stay! The property owner is very nice. The location is beautiful if you like to be out in the middle of nowhere. The main bed was very comfortable. Well laid out cabin. It had everything you need for a pleasant stay.

Amazing weekend get away

Ericka went above and beyond with her cabin rental. She includes many amenities that other listings do not provide ( towels, bed linens, ground coffee, handsoap, dish detergent, paper towels, toilet paper etc). Property is definitely well maintained and easily accessible. Hands down the best VRBO hostess, I have encountered. Will definitely check back next time we are in the area to see the availability of the cabin rentals.

Colgate Parents Weekend

An adorable, spotless cabin with all of the amenities! We kept shifting our check-in time because of activities on campus and Ericka could not have been more accommodating! Will definitely book Bear-ly Camping the nest time we head north to Colgate

Cabin on the edge of the woods

We had a wonderful stay and Ericka was an excellent hostess. She was very responsive to any requests. If you enjoy cooking just be mindful to bring some items with you as it’s a bare bones type of place. Extremely clean and quiet.

Great, cozy spot

While small, the place has a well-stocked kitchen, new appliances, and the kids loved the loft area to sleep/relax in. The quietness of the place was terrific and I found it to be a great value.

Bear-Ly Camping is the Place to Be

We had an absolutely wonderful time at Bear-ly Camping. We were impressed with the quality of the construction of the cabin, its furnishings (very comfortable bed), and the well-equipped kitchen. We’ll be back. Ericka responded to our every question. There was enough room that enabled us to host several local members of our family for a get-together. It’s quiet, yet close enough to a number of Central NY places, including the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, Howe Caverns, and a number of state parks. The pretty city (Pop. 7,000) of Norwich, is only 20 minutes away where you can stock up on all the supplies you need. Looking forward to coming back!

Great Getaway Cabin

Beautiful cabin in a town that could use an upgrade.

The cabin itself was ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL. Beds and sofas were super comfortable, kitchen gave us plenty of room to work with, WiFi was solid, bathroom and shower were wonderful, and the campfire was EXCELLENT. As for the community it's in, it's state parks are beautiful. Great hiking trails and lovely lakes to swim in. The pickle is that the town it's based in didn't know if there was a local gun range to go visit. My friend and I went to a local gas station to ask what all what there was to do and even they weren't sure themselves. So I say this to the property owner, PHENOMENAL JOB with the cabin. You could use that thing to help for retirement. As for the community it was based in, don't be ashamed to love yourselves a little more. You're in upstate New York where the summers aren't that bad. There's got to be mountain biking trails that can be opened up, or even a gun range that's open to out-of-state visitors. Thank you!

Relaxing retreat from the daily hustle

We booked our weekend getaway to Guilford, New York and enjoyed spending our quality time at this very peaceful and relaxing private family cabin. Ericka greeted us with a welcoming smile as soon as we arrived. She took the time to give us a detailed tour of the cabin and suggested some great restaurants and places to explore during our stay. Bear-ly Camping is a great place to unwind and enjoy the sounds and fresh air of nature. This charming cabin has everything you need and is pet friendly. It is very clean and the outside surrounding areas are very well maintained. There is a firepit in the back yard with pre-cut wood waiting for you to enjoy. We missed out on the firepit this time around due to the rain but it is very thoughtful of Ericka and her boys to have pre-cut wood available for guests to enjoy. We highly recommend this charming cabin and look forward to staying at Bear-ly Camping next time we are in the area. Thank you again Ericka!

Such a cute little place!!!

Great quiet, safe place to stay for ANY reason. I was a tired skier, but the property is so cute and set up for all kinds of activities, both outdoor, and a game cabinet for rainy days! Comfy bed - awesome little cabin!!! The xmas lights on the tree outside were a nice touch, so cozy!
