Private family cabin

Our 14' x 36' cabin is located on 15 private acres, with lovely northern views. When your done relaxing on our open and airy 6' front porch step inside to a cozy living area. Sit next to the gas fire place on the leather pull out sofa sleeper or swivel chair. When you are hungry and want to eat, cook your meal in the full kitchen, complete with electric range/oven, microwave & fridge/freezer. Or do you prefer to gill? Gas grill provided. Cabin is furnished with pots, pans, dishes and utensils. After a long day of adventure clean up in the stand up shower and do your laundry in the washer and dryer. Ready to call it a night? Climb into a queen size bed in a private bedroom, or head up to the loft with 2 twin beds.

Enjoy the abundant State Lands and forests located just down the road. We are approximately: 3 miles from the Finger Lakes hiking trail, 7 miles from General Clinton Canoe Regatta, 30 miles to Oneonta, and 45 miles from Cooperstown.

Serval collages are located within a 45 min drive. SUNY Binghamton, SUNY Oneonta, SUNY Morrisville, Hartwick, and Colgate just to name a few.

With all the modern amenities like heat, A/C, WIFI, TV, in a cozy cabin packages - it's like your Bear-ly Camping!

Close enough to be there - far away enough to relax!

Beautiful cabin

Me and my family traveled from south carolina for a party ovwr the weekend we chose this cabin for its convenient location. When i arrived the host met me and the cabin to show me around this was one of the nicest and cleanest places we have stayed in awhile i would recommend this cabin to everyone it had everything you would beed for a trip. We will definitely stay here again when we travel

Loved the cabin and view, very clean and wish we had more time to sit outside and walk but were staying for a funeral. It gave us a place to unwind and feel peaceful !Hope to return

Great Cozy Cabin!

This cabin was adorable. It was so cozy and the fireplace was perfect. The cabin was kept extremely clean and stocked well. The location is great in a nice quiet area, but only a 20 minute drive to major stores. Communication with the host was easy, and the fact that it was pet friendly was a huge plus. Our dog loved it. We will definitely stay again if we are in the area. And the foliage during fall was stunning!

The hidden gem

This property was a fantastic place to stay. Out of the way yet close enough to town it gives a great mix of quiet privacy and convenience. The cabin comes as advertised and communication with the owners was a breeze. I wish I had found this earlier in my tenure out here. I hope to be back.

Great stay!

There were a few minor items that should have been cleared better but overall great stay! The property owner is very nice. The location is beautiful if you like to be out in the middle of nowhere. The main bed was very comfortable. Well laid out cabin. It had everything you need for a pleasant stay.

Amazing weekend get away

Ericka went above and beyond with her cabin rental. She includes many amenities that other listings do not provide ( towels, bed linens, ground coffee, handsoap, dish detergent, paper towels, toilet paper etc). Property is definitely well maintained and easily accessible. Hands down the best VRBO hostess, I have encountered. Will definitely check back next time we are in the area to see the availability of the cabin rentals.

An adorable, spotless cabin with all of the amenities! We kept shifting our check-in time because of activities on campus and Ericka could not have been more accommodating! Will definitely book Bear-ly Camping the nest time we head north to Colgate

Cabin on the edge of the woods

We had a wonderful stay and Ericka was an excellent hostess. She was very responsive to any requests. If you enjoy cooking just be mindful to bring some items with you as it’s a bare bones type of place. Extremely clean and quiet.

Great, cozy spot

While small, the place has a well-stocked kitchen, new appliances, and the kids loved the loft area to sleep/relax in. The quietness of the place was terrific and I found it to be a great value.

Perfect little getaway on our way up to Syracuse. Didn’t get to spend too much time there but what little time we had it was wonderful. Excellent host. Highly recommend and would definitely go back.
