The room was lovely, spacious and overlooking the water. The issue was the WiFi was down and I didn’t have cell coverage, so communication was difficult.

Property was very clean and provided a nice accommodation in this unique community. For check-in, had to contact host for instructions - but he promptly responded. Continental breakfast set-up was ok - but ran out of coffee and not sure how host preferred that another pot could be made. All in all - enjoyable stay.

Quiet, uncrowded get away

After exploring up the east coast for a bit I was looking for a peaceful spot to rest for a couple of days. The Eastern Beacon Inn in Lubec provided just what I was looking for. A clean, quiet, unhurried environment to relax and unwind. Highly recommended!

My partner and I had a wonderful stay at this charming place. The location is perfect, and the hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was delicious, and the homemade cookies were a delightful treat. The room was spotless, as was the entire house, making our stay very comfortable. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others.

Lubec trip

Check is was easy. Nice clean room. Totally loved the view of the harbor and Mullholand lighthouse. We had a cot for our 3rd family member that was great! Definitely enjoyed the stay!

Our stay in Lubec was wonderful thanks to Patrick and Kim. Our room was perfectly clean and equipped with everything that we and our furry family member needed. We highly recommend the Eastern Beacon Inn for anyone looking to visit Lubec.

Beautiful and dog friendly

We were so favorably impressed with Eastern Beacon Inn that we're already planning a return trip. Our room had a stunning view of the channel and Campobello Island. Everything was spotless, attractively furnished, and comfortable. For example, the mattress and bedding were nice and firm and high quality. The self-serve kitchen provides everything you need to make your own continental breakfast. There's a ramp to the 1st floor; you have to climb a fairly steep staircase to 2nd and 3rd floors.

Loving Lubec

Our time in Lubec was lovely and much of our positive experience came from getting to stay in the Eastern Beacon Inn. It was just what we needed - in a great location, clean, let us bring our little dog, and they had a little community area that was so welcoming. The owners are super helpful and friendly. We highly recommend this special place.

This was my first Vrbo rental and I was uneasy about getting the key, etc., but Patrick was great in communicating the check-in process. This property has all of the modern conveniences and updates to an older inn. This property sets on the first street from the waterfront looking at Campobello Island. Great location. Would be a great place to view a meteor shower or northern lights.
