A very special condominium awaits your arrival - Diamond Beach 506-Seaglass Treasure is a large 3 bedroom 2 bath unit that will easily accommodate 8 guests.

This luxurious condominium is decorated with furnishings and accessories that even the most discerning guests will be pleased with the peaceful, serene atmosphere of the Seaglass Treasure. This condo has a large kitchen with island bar and seating, granite counter tops and appliances. Guests who stay with us at Diamond Beach 506-Seaglass Treasure can relax and enjoy their stay in the primary bedroom featuring a king bed and private en suite bath. The 2nd bedroom has a queen bed and the third bedroom is a full bed. The living area has all new furnishings including a queen sleeper sofa and large flat screen tv and WIFI. Enjoy early mornings on the balcony with a full view of the Gulf of Mexico while sipping a cup of coffee. The balcony also features a dining table and four chairs for those who like to dine alfresco!

The Diamond Beach Galveston offers guests both a large outdoor pool with lazy river and an indoor pool for the convenience of our guests. The 300 foot long pool outside also has cabanas and barbeque areas available for guests to let. The children can play in the game room located on the 3rd floor of Diamond Beach resort. Spend a family movie night in the large theater watching room (available by appointment with Diamond Beach). The Diamond Beach resort also features a business center in the 2nd floor lobby (for those who must work while vacation).

Great vacation choice!!

Wonderful place for children of all ages! Movies, game room, weight room, multiple pools& hot tubs, including a lazy river! You really don’t have to leave the property to have fun!!

Nice place but dirty balcony

The property is nice and plenty of room for 6. The refrigerator was broke so they stuck another one in front of it which took up kitchen space. The patio was dirty and needs to be updated. Kids enjoyed the game room & heated pool.

Fun but felt the condo could do better

Stocked poorly. One dishwasher tablet, one roll of paper towels for 4 nights, 8 guests is ridiculous. No extra bedding or blankets for pull out couch. Kitchen should be much better stocked for a place that sleeps 8. No cookie sheet, no big pots, skillets were old. Not even salt and pepper provided. For the $ we paid, felt deceived. Patio was pretty dirty. Property was nice. Very late check in and very early check out. Would stay at property again but not with this owner/management company

Beach getaway

This was a last minute trip for my wife and our first time using VRBO and we enjoyed it. The property and unit are both nice. The balcony, and view of the pool and the ocean are great. The unit itself is great but shows some wear. The kitchen items provided are limited and do not include things like salt/pepper for cooking etc. so bring your own if you plan to cook. Also, the owner has a lock on the master closet. If you plan on having people in the other rooms there isn't a place to hang your clothes. The owner might want to add a standing rack in the hall leading to the locked master closet for clothes. Overall we enjoyed the property and our trip. We spent time in both the lazy river and regular pools and used the tubes provided by the property. The only issue we had was parking. We understood from the ad that it included two reserved spots. Apparently it doesn't, we had to park in the open parking lot in front of the building vs. in the parking garage under the building and my bumper was damaged by another car.

Cleanliness

All Ceiling fans have about 1/2 inch of dust on them. In one of the bedrooms the drawers would not fit properly into the dresser and on the night stand there was smears of peanut butter and jelly. There are some mystery stains on the coffee table. The outside windows we know are hard to keep clean but looked like they had not been cleaned in awhile. When we arrived after 4:00 in the hall bathroom there was evidence that work was in progress on toilet. I called downstairs and they said that yes a workman was still there because he had not turned in the key. About 5 he should up and finished project. We did not want to leave condo until this was finished. The reason I tell all this is for the $$ for cleaning afterwards the job was done very poorly. The overall condo fit our needs perfectly but I was disappointed in cleanliness of unit. My husband and I have stayed in other condos at DB and have never seen such a mess.

Very nice condo with a some issues

My wife and I stayed here along with four teenagers. The condo complex is very nice; pool is great, lazy river is fun, two hot tubs were fabulous, and the well equipped gym was icing on the cake. The condo unit was very clean well equipped. But there were issues. The television in the master was not connected to the Xfinity system and only received one local channel via antenna, essentially worthless. The remote for the television in the second bedroom was dead so we had to adjust everything by hand on the back of the TV (at least it had Xfinity service). The third bedroom does not have a television. Also, the "queen" bed in the third bedroom is actually a full, not a queen. It simply was not large enough to comfortably sleep two teenage boys so one had to use the sleeper sofa. And the king mattress in the master was horrible. Maybe the worst mattress I've ever slept on in a rental. My wife's neck was so sore she slept on the sleeper sofa for the remaining nights (along with the teenager who couldn't fit on the full). Overall it was a fun trip, we would definitely stay at Diamond Beach again but we'll probably be looking for a different condo next time.

Galveston Vacation

We had a great stay, however we did run into a few issues. The balcony door, did NOT have a latch lock and the bar lock was broken off laying on the door track upon arrival. Maintenance came and installed a latch lock, that didn’t even align with the locking mechanism inside the door so it still didn’t lock, called again about issue and it was never fixed with two days left in our stay. This made our stay very nerve racking as we have 2 little ones under the age of three being on the fifth floor balcony. Also, upon arriving all lights/outlets in master bedroom did not work, the breaker box tripped, this happened twice on our stay and my husband had to fix it. Even after he turned the breaker box back on the ceiling fan lights still did not work. Beds could be upgraded. However, the amenities in the condominium complex itself was phenomenal! Amazing pool, game room, kid play room and more. The path to the beach could definitely be better but still was nice compared to most on Galveston island where crossing the road was not necessary for this place.

NEEDS IMPROVEMENT

For those coming in late - there are no coffee filters for the standard coffee machine, no coffee provided. The Keurig also had zero coffee pods provided. Be sure to bring your own. In fact the fridge and pantry were completely empty, no salt, pepper or sugar. The floors were so dirty we wore socks for safety. The socks had to be thrown away. All three beds (one king, two queens) were literally so hard that our backs hurt and sleep was difficult. The most difficult part was the glass sliding door to the balcony. It was almost frozen in place, extremely difficult to open so the balcony was pretty much off limits. All these things are an easy fix - the furnishings were nice - so if cleaned, memory foam toppers for beds, sliding door repaired, and pods for the Keurig added, it could be 5 star. Maybe a new management company added by owner?

This is a beautiful unit. The beds were less than optimum. Two were very hard.

We needed maintenance twice and they were very helpful. I was concerned about not smelling any Clorox on sheets or in the bathrooms. As we were leaving, I checked the master bed and saw a toy soldier in the sheets. I’m sure my husband didn’t have any and the youngest person there was 17??? The real reason we won’t be using Ryson again is the up charge of over 400$ when having to reschedule because of Covid! My trip to Canada didn’t even require this!!!

Complex is great, this unit lacks due to management company

We had a great time at the complex with the amenities despite being unhappy with the actual unit/management company - outside of the view. The view was great! Here's a quick summary so you at least know what you are walking into when paying over $700 per night. Our friends arrived early and were told they could not check in or use the access to the complex (pools etc). They arrived back at 3pm only to find the crew was still prepping the room and they waited in the hallway for over 30 minutes for them to finish. This would not have been an issue if they were allowed to enjoy the complex. The ice maker and fridge water did not work. We called (never received a call back) and the front desk person reached out to your maintenance person on site. They were unable to fix it and we went without ice all weekend. We saw this one a review from last year and had assumed it had been fixed, but no. Also, I dont know the last inventory that was done but this is not equipped for 6-8 people. We had 4 adults and 2 children and it is not well equipped. There are literally 2 coffee mugs in this unit and not even a full set of dishes. The microwave has duct tape and napkins shoved in it to hold it up. The chairs on the patio are wobbly and about to break. The door is almost impossible to open/close (only the men could do it). The beds were horrible and hard as a rock. On top of everything, there is no salt/pepper or coffee, one trash bag, one dishwashing pod among other things. We brought our concerns to the management company and were told they would get back to us and that was almost two weeks ago. Again, recommend the resort, we will be back but not with this company.

Our stay at Diamond Beach

Our second time to stay there. The grounds,staff, and condo are A-#1. Will be back again. We have family in Galveston to visit with but enjoy our "space". In fact my niece recommended Diamond Beach over hotel rooms. Plus we bring my mama-in-law so we have plenty of room and with a fantastic view. Would recommend this place to anyone.

Nice place

My daughter and I enjoyed this property! There were lots and lots of towels and it was beautifully decorated! It was also very quiet. However the ice dispenser and filtered water did not work. We were also unable to get the DVD player to work so we couldn’t watch our movie we wanted to one night. We also would have liked some extra blankets for hanging out in the living room but otherwise it was great!!! There were no locks on spare bedrooms but I figured that was on purpose for kids sake. There was no laundry detergent either so we just washed the towels with hot water. I thought I had read 11:00 was the check out time and was trying to leave property and the Ryson representative was very rude to me saying the cleaning service had tried to come by. We had not heard anyone knocking or ringing the doorbell or we would have been happy to get out as fast as we could. So that has nothing to do with the condo or the owner but the representative could have been much more polite when working with me on check out. So because a few things did not work I gave it 4 stars but the price was right for sure so that helped offset these minor Issues. Would recommend or rent again! Just beware of management company.

Great way to start summer!

This was one of the two condos we rented at Diamond Beach. It was a great condo. My mom uses a walker and it was easy for her to get around. The kitchen was fully equipped. It was great to make breakfast and enjoy the view from the balcony each morning. Ryson Rentals were available for any questions I had during our stay. DB staff was awesome too. Everyone loved all the amenities especially the lazy pool and easy access to the beach. There was a room filled with arcade games (no quarters required), pinball machine, shuffle board and a pool table. In the outside lounge area there is a chess board paint on the concrete floor, ping pong table and sand volleyball court. So much to do! DB provided all you need to enjoy all their amenities, including floats for the lazy river. On our final night we reserved the movie theater and rented a movie from Redbox, even though DB has plenty of movies to pick from. Back in the condo we had plenty of space to spread out and relax. Plenty of blanket, sheets, pillow and towels are provided. If you are into a Keurig, they provide one. If you are into a traditional coffee make, well that is provided too. We found a small folding table in the master bedroom closet that was perfect for playing dominoes. It was truly a nice vacation for all. We plan to go back.

Great amenities, accommodating staff

My friends and I just graduated from law school and came to Galveston for a celebratory trip. The lazy river and pool were so nice. The staff was very helpful if we needed anything. Our condo was very nice, the balcony over looked the pool and the ocean. The couches needed some updating because they were stained, but that was to be expected because they were white. Overall, we had a wonderful time and plan on coming back.

Awesome Condo - Pool FREEZING

I would love to give this 5 stars but I can't. We booked a last minute trip to Galveston end of March. The grounds and the condo itself were beautiful. Great view of the Gulf from the Balcony. Very Clean - Lots of amenities. The really disappointing part is that the spectacular outdoor pool is NOT heated. The air temp in March and April - really do necessitate a heated outdoor pool. It is not usable in the morning and early afternoon. By late afternoon maybe you can get in. I wish I had know that before I booked - it really would have made a difference in where we stayed. I'm sure it is fine in the summer months but for a "Spring Break" get away - it was pretty disappointing.
