Prepare for comfort - there's enough space for everyone to kick back and relax at this home in a gated community. Multiple balconies (including one attached to each bedroom) make this a fun spot to relax. Enjoy the breeze, or stay cool inside in central air conditioning. The extensive full kitchen includes a prep island and counter space galore to assist in making meals for the whole group. If someone needs to complete remote assignments, the living room's full desk workspace will give them space to focus. Enjoy one of the provided board games in the living room at the end of the day, or wind down with ease in the main bathroom's jetted tub. You'll find a favorite space to relax here.

Our tropical paradise has a charismatic feeling of an old town fishing village with many of its homes on waterfront property. It is located minutes away from Boca Grande and the Gulf of Mexico. The Landings sits on forty acres with 27 buildings and 132 townhomes. Our gated entrance with an electronic entry system adds security to our prestigious community. Our community is surrounded by lush landscaping with a Clubhouse, library, fitness room, resort-style pool, sun deck with a separate whirlpool spa, and a boardwalk to our dock with a custom kayak launch. Each residence has three floors with an elevator to take you between floors.

Great potential but has a way to go

This property has good bones, a nice floorplan, comfy queen beds, linens of good supply and quality, but an uncomfortable living room in a new community with a lovely pool and nice neighbors. Our stay was marred by many issues: (1) misrepresentation of capacity, which is 6, not 8, posing a problem for the one night when we had a full house of 6 adults and a 4-year old; (2) the balcony was filthy requiring a purchase of supplies to clean interior and exterior doors / windows, and scrubbing rust off 4 chairs as well as the algae on railings. (3) the keyless lock needs a simpler code that might improve the 50% hit rate we had. (4) Nice kitchen layout with good cookware and knives and decent appliances needs to be augmented by the inadequate dishware service for 8, and 7 glasses which required us to purchase plastic to supplement. The kitchen lacks serving pieces and salad bowl - very tacky to serve using metal mixing bowls. (5) Since pool access requires a transponder card to open the gate, and the main entry gate requires the same card, additional access needs to be provided to both simultaneously to avoid the frustration of restricted access. (6) Bunk bed frames are unsafe as stacked so we dismantled and reassembled.(7) Owner needs to provide basic operational information to reduce frustration and be more welcoming. We enjoyed our stay in spite of these frustrations but owner and property management need to step up to ensure an experience that is worth the expense.
