Enjoy your getaway in this newly renovated space with the highest quality of materials. Tucked away in a quiet neighborhood yet conveniently located with quick & easy access to the roadway leading to all of Crete's best spots and adventures, this is the perfect location for enjoying all there is to offer, be it enjoying special moments in your private Jacuzzi with surrounding views of the sea, valley, and White Mountains from the peace of your own deck or taking advantage of the surrounding nature and beaches. The historical Old Town and harbor of Chania are minutes away, as are grocery shops and restaurants just around the corner.
THE SPACE
Vista Magica, comfortable and convenient in its stylish design, is a two-family home, which has been completely renovated into two separate and private homes each with their own entrance and character. Offering guests the highest quality in furnishings and amenities, while keeping hints of its history in tact, Myrtoâs Home and Eviâs Home offer a successful blend of modernity with tradition and are certain to serve as the perfect base for your Chania getaway.
On the top floor, Eviâs home is a two-bedroom, one-bathroom fully air-conditioned (with units in every room) eclectic space, featuring a private jacuzzi. Park your car in your private parking spot, and enter from the back alley of the house, where you will find the steps leading up to the private entrance and deck of your apartment. On the deck for your enjoyment there is outdoor furniture for lounging and dining al fresco, your own private heated Jacuzzi with wifi music and light programs, and an outdoor shower, all with a magical view of the valley, the sea and the White Mountains, and by night the flickering lights of the city of Chania in the distance.
Inside, furnished always with quality in mind, the living area has an L-shaped couch and a 50-inch 4K Smart TV, a full-sized dining table with seating for 6, and a fully equipped kitchen with a large refrigerator and freezer, an oven, stove top, microwave, toaster, panini griller, coffeemaker, Nespresso coffee machine, water boiler, Fissler pots and pans, full sets of utensils, dishes, silverware, and cookware, glasses, and wine glasses. On this main floor is the bathroom with walk-in shower and clothes washer, and a bedroom with two single beds with excellent mattresses 90x200cm, window with vast views (and room-darkening shade), and balcony door to the side deck (with darkening roller), as well as spacious closets and a 32-in smart TV.
This split-level home features the cozy and private master bedroom downstairs, windowed with fantastic views, and furnished with a queen-sized bed (top quality 160x200cm mattress), 32-inch smart TV, dresser, and spacious closet. Its balcony doors (with roller shutters) lead out to a private patio with outdoor furniture for quiet, introspective time alone or chatting with your friend or partner.
This is the perfect home to enjoy and spend a relaxing and rejuvenating stay, while its location works as a perfect starting point for exploring Western Crete.
Getting around
This location is best serviced by a car to get the most out of the area, there is very easy access to town and to the highway. Beaches and the Old Town of Chania are all easily accessed within minutes from the house by car. There is one of the best restaurants in Chania steps away from the house and many walking opportunities around, for those who prefer to limit their driving, however. The mini market down the street even delivers your groceries, so if you feel like just relaxing at home some days, it is the perfect spot for doing so!

Kallithea (meaning "good view" in Greek) is a quiet, residential neighborhood set up on the hillside overlooking the valley, the city of Chania, and the harbor on one side, and the White Mountains on the other. Nearby, at the bottom of the hill, is a big grocery market with anything one may need, and there is a very famous restaurant steps from the house by foot. It is easily accessed within minutes by car from the highway and the city of Chania, and also offers easy access to the very nearby beaches of Agious Apostolous and Chrysi Akti. Very close, in our neighborhood guests also can enjoy the newest gym in Chania, complete with tennis and squash courts, as well as soccer courts for rent at another nearby location.
The highway leads to the area's many possible day trips, such as to Balos beach, Falasarna, Elafonisi in the west, and to Paleochora in the south. There is also convenient access to the road to Rethymno, the ancient site of Eleftherna and its impressive new museum, Preveli monastery and beach, and beyond to Herakleion and Knossos Palace.
