Ocean front, west facing with incredible sunsets

Welcome to Raven Cottage, come and enjoy your own private getaway on beautiful Quadra island. We are located on the peaceful West side of the island, near April Point Resort.

Relax, kick your heals up and enjoy watching the seals in the bay, marine life and resident bald eagles (and their nest with babies) “oh ya” and some unbelievable sunsets. Perfect for a couple looking to escape and enjoy nature.

We have a 180 degree West facing view on the ocean, with your own private deck, plus patio and green space. Close to all amenities about a 4 min drive to the ferry. Our guest suite is separate from our main house and has a fully equipped kitchen, cozy living room, indoor and outdoor dining space with a bbq, washroom/laundry room. We also have storage for your bikes and kayaks.

Now all you have to do is relax, unwind, soak up nature and “oh ya” those sunsets.

This is one of the nicest VRBO's we've stayed in - and we've stayed in a lot!Michelle's attention to detain in terms of decorating, cleanliness and outfitting the cottage is amazing. Everything you need is there and it is all new and thoughtfully put together - you can tell they take pride in providing a great experience. There are also great instructions on how everything works.The location is amazing - beautiful view and close to everything. We explored the South end of the island and nothing was more that 15 minutes away. The deck is a great place to relax and watch the wildlife and boats go by.Michelle was super responsive and helpful before and during our stay - can't say enough about how much we enjoyed out stay.

Beautiful cottage, well appointed and with an amazing view. A cruise ship went by one evening and we felt like we could reach out and touch it!!Hosts were very accommodating and helpful with local information. A great place to stay on Quadra Island!

Wonderful property, with hosts who could not have been more helpful. This is such a delightful place to stay with wonderful views and local wildlife. The cottage has absolutely everything needed for a stress free stay, just sitting on the deck watching eagles, whales, dolphins, seals etc is just heaven. Lovely area, with walks and not far to anywhere to watch whales or just walk. We are so happy that we found Raven cottage and we hope we can come back soon to enjoy the sunsets, peace and quiet and this lovely cottage . Thank you both so much for a wonderful stay.

This oasis of peace, tranquility and beauty did not disappoint. Michelle’s attention to detail and eye for highlighting local artisans in all areas possible is top notch. She anticipated our every need and more. We saw humpbacks, eagles, sea lions, hummingbirds, cruise ship and more. We will DEFINITELY be back. Can’t get it out of our minds. We stayed at so many places but this is one of the most beautiful homes we visited! The views are incredible seen the eagles caught there fish, and the deck is really spacious and the house is so lovely and beautiful decorated, it gives you a home feeling while you are on vacation. There is a lot to do on the island. And the owners are so nice and we thank them for the hospitality! We will definitely come back.

This is an amazing place to stay! The cabin is so beautifully decorated and equipped with everything you need. The hosts Michelle and Sarosha are so friendly and were happy to share some very special sightseeing spots with us. The wildlife and sunsets from the deck was fabulous. We will definitely be back.

The view off the patio on the website is very accurate. We spent the entire day sitting in the chairs looking at the scenery and enjoying the sun. The rooms were great and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay. The owners were helpful in suggesting things to do, though all we really wanted to do is relax. My only complaint about this property is the roads to get to it. The were gravel, had a lot of potholes and the grade into the driveway had quite a slope. This would likely not be a problam for most cars, but I have a custom Mustang that has a custom suspension on it and I bottomed out more times than I am comfortable with. So, infortunately, the likelyhood of us returning is slim. I regret that because it is such a nice place.

Fabulous Cottage

Our stay on Quadra island could not of been any better! The directions to the property were spot on. The host happened to be home and greeted us. They gave us information on a few restaurants and other places on the island. The cottage is great! Very well thought thru as far as everything was concerned. Kitchen accessories were more than plentiful for cooking! Fireplace was on and very cozy. Bed is extremely comfortable! They provide robes and slippers that are perfect.Saved the best for last! The beautiful deck! The view is amazing from the stars to the water. Lots of wildlife to watch as well. We can’t wait to return. Our visit was short this time but not the next time!! Thanks for all the work you put into your cottage…..

Fantastic!

My wife and I spent 5 nights at the Ravens Cottage. It was everything we could imagine! Amazing views, lots of sea animals to watch from the deck, as well as Fred and Arlene, the two Eagles nesting on the island right out front of the property! The cottage is very well equipped with everything you’d need in the kitchen and throughout the cottage. Tastefully decorated and very comfortable. Michelle and Sharosa were excellent hosts! We will definitely stay again on our next visit to Quadra!

Absolutely beautiful! Very nice. Michelle has thought of everything you could possibly need!! The view is spectacular and the cabin is adorable!! I loved the stairs between the bathroom and bedroom - if you have mobility issues, this place may not be for you, but it’s amazing!! Very clean. There was an issue with the communication from Expedia to us. But, Michelle made up for that!!

Blown Away

A beautiful property in a beautiful setting - the lovely photograph does not do the property justice. It is a fantastic spot with lots of wildlife to watch from the balcony. The property has every amenity you could want and more. It is very comfortable and luxurious. Michelle and Sarocha were very friendly and gave us a lovely personal welcome, showing us around the property and also telling us about the area and where to go. We only stayed for two nights but would stay longer next time, in order to really enjoy the property. Thank you so much for providing us with a lovely experience - Robert and Anne.

Idyllic spot

Beautiful outside space, seating, bbq and vista from terrace complete the inside area, which is very well thought out and conceived. Suited us very well and hosts were very helpful with information and tips to help us maximise our enjoyment but not at all intrusive. Bonus to watch the bald eagles nesting on the island and seals playing in the waters in front of their deck. Hope to be back as really enjoyed Quadra and this space to stay in. Thanks Michelle.
