Ocean front, west facing with incredible sunsets

Welcome to Raven Cottage, come and enjoy your own private getaway on beautiful Quadra island. We are located on the peaceful West side of the island, near April Point Resort.

Relax, kick your heals up and enjoy watching the seals in the bay, marine life and resident bald eagles (and their nest with babies) “oh ya” and some unbelievable sunsets. Perfect for a couple looking to escape and enjoy nature.

We have a 180 degree West facing view on the ocean, with your own private deck, plus patio and green space. Close to all amenities about a 4 min drive to the ferry. Our guest suite is separate from our main house and has a fully equipped kitchen, cozy living room, indoor and outdoor dining space with a bbq, washroom/laundry room. We also have storage for your bikes and kayaks.

Now all you have to do is relax, unwind, soak up nature and “oh ya” those sunsets.

Beautiful cottage, well appointed and with an amazing view. A cruise ship went by one evening and we felt like we could reach out and touch it!!Hosts were very accommodating and helpful with local information. A great place to stay on Quadra Island!

This is an amazing place to stay! The cabin is so beautifully decorated and equipped with everything you need. The hosts Michelle and Sarosha are so friendly and were happy to share some very special sightseeing spots with us. The wildlife and sunsets from the deck was fabulous. We will definitely be back.

Great Place-

What an amazing place to stay! The host is very friendly, knowledgeable about the island and the locations to go, see and eat.The accommodations were great, clean and comfortable! We saw Eagles and whales from the deck overlooking the ocean.

Lovely cottage with stunning views. We enjoyed watching the Bald Eagles and seals right out front from the great patio.High end tasteful decor with beautiful artwork and a cozy fireplace. Our hosts were lovely and communicated regularly providing great tips to enjoy the Island. They take pride in their place. There are three steps to the bathroom which had a great shower. And the bed was very comfortable.

Wonderful property, with hosts who could not have been more helpful. This is such a delightful place to stay with wonderful views and local wildlife. The cottage has absolutely everything needed for a stress free stay, just sitting on the deck watching eagles, whales, dolphins, seals etc is just heaven. Lovely area, with walks and not far to anywhere to watch whales or just walk. We are so happy that we found Raven cottage and we hope we can come back soon to enjoy the sunsets, peace and quiet and this lovely cottage . Thank you both so much for a wonderful stay.

We stayed at so many places but this is one of the most beautiful homes we visited! The views are incredible seen the eagles caught there fish, and the deck is really spacious and the house is so lovely and beautiful decorated, it gives you a home feeling while you are on vacation. There is a lot to do on the island. And the owners are so nice and we thank them for the hospitality! We will definitely come back.

This oasis of peace, tranquility and beauty did not disappoint. Michelle’s attention to detail and eye for highlighting local artisans in all areas possible is top notch. Fantastic!

My wife and I spent 5 nights at the Ravens Cottage. It was everything we could imagine! Amazing views, lots of sea animals to watch from the deck, as well as Fred and Arlene, the two Eagles nesting on the island right out front of the property! The cottage is very well equipped with everything you’d need in the kitchen and throughout the cottage. Tastefully decorated and very comfortable. Michelle and Sharosa were excellent hosts! We will definitely stay again on our next visit to Quadra!

Hard to walk away from that view!

This unit was clearly a labour of love - every detail was carefully thought out and resulted in a place that was warm and inviting - it managed to feel high end and homey at the same time. Hosts were friendly and available but never intrusive, and we'll especially miss watching the resident eagles on the island right outside the deck!

What a beautiful place. We stayed 6 nights and wished we could have stayed longer. We kayaked, cycled, and hiked on Quadra. There is so much to do. Great location and the hosts were super helpful in answering any questions we had. We hope to be back soon.

Little piece of heaven

The property was exactly as seen on Vrbo. Hosts are amazing. Friendly,helpful and knowledgeable of the island. This was 1 of the best rentals we have stayed in. The view is spectacular. Saw Orcas, eagles seals and more. Highly recommend this property.

A gorgeous spot to get away from it all

We had such a lovely time at this property! The island is a wonderful place to relax.. the house has everything you could need. The bed is comfortable. The deck is a place that you could spend hours watching the wildlife the host live right next-door, and are so friendly and helpful. Anything you could possibly need they will accommodate.

Great spot

A lovely place hosted by lovely people. Beautiful spot, well-equipped and very comfortable. Fresh flowers (even outside on the patio table) were appreciated. One note, the bedroom has 3 steepish stairs that lead down into both the bathroom and main floor that could be difficult for those with wonky knees, but there is a very comfy sofabed that could be used. Highly recommend!

Family Visit

Spectacular property! The hosts have thought of everything….all the small touches, the attention to detail, provide so much comfort and a true oasis. The views from this property are stunning…from crashing ocean waves to the green and purple surrounding mountains, and from those breathtaking sunsets to the massive cruise ships passing through from Alaska to Vancouver, to bald eagles, otters, seals and other sea life…we wish we could have enjoyed sitting on that deck a lot longer. What a fantastic way to enjoy Quadra Island in all its glory!
