Pine Cove Cottage 10 minutes from Mayo

Sun filled one room cottage with everything you need for a stay wether it’s a get away or a visit to Mayo Clinic. Our little cottage is set on the Zumbro River. We have an additional old building completely redone, into an extra living space with 2 recliners, tv, daybed, and desk just a few steps away from the cottage that can be rented for an additional nightly rate of $40 for stays less than 2 weeks or $25 a night or $500 a month. The property is 40 acres of trees and walking paths. This beautiful setting can be enjoyed with your own outside deck with table overlooking ponds. We, the owners live just through the pine trees on the property. We are close by, if needed. But your privacy is highly respected.

Cozy cottage in beautiful setting

The cottage was one of the best vacation rentals we’ve had, and we’ve rented a lot! The owners have organized the space to provide everything you’d need for a few days or a month. The inside was charming with a very comfortable bed and seating. If you like to cook it had a very well equipped kitchen. It has lots of windows which make it bright and cheery but hardly a sound could be heard outside. There are acres of hiking trails, it’s on the river, has two ponds and even a covered bridge. Lovely property and equally lovely hosts. We would love to come back next time we’re in town. It will definitely be at the top of my list.

Perfect getaway!

Absolutely beautiful apartment in a lovely location close to routes to everywhere! Hosts were so helpful, and the place is stocked with everything you could need. We cooked most of our meals in and all the basics are there. Don’t hesitate to book!

A Perfect Place

My husband is receiving treatment at Mayo and we wanted a change from the hotel scene. I saw Pine Cove Cottage on VRBO and fell in love with the pictures and...it was available! It is so much more than pictures could say! So comfortable. We havent been able to enjoy the grounds this visit due to my husbands limited mobility but we will definitely book again with hopes of seeing more. Thank you

Restful Beauty

Pine Cove cottage is absolutely my favorite VRBO to date. Heidi and Kevin have crafted such a beautiful space both indoors and outdoors. The quaint cottage sits on a property that has miles of trails as well as beautiful ponds which we made good use of in our fall visit. We stayed two weeks during medical care at Mayo and truly felt at home in this cozy cottage. Complete with everything a person could want and the kindest hosts, we couldn’t have been happier.

Beautiful newly finished cottage on wonderful property

We had a wonderful long weekend at this beautiful cottage. It is immaculately finished, fully stocked, and very relaxing. We loved the property with its ponds, trails, and pavilion with fire pit. It’s close to town if you want to head in there, but still in the peaceful country. We also had a great time cycling on local trails. We will definitely stay here again if in the area! Highly recommended!

We bought this property in 2021. It had no house on it and a few old run down sheds.
We turned one little shed into the Pine Cove Cottage. The cottage sits at the front of the 40 acres. We are creatives. My husband is an out of the box thinker and I love sitting in my studio creating things with paper and beads.

Varför värden valde detta boende

The property is 40 acres with a pond, pavilion, our home and office and the Cottage. We have made walking trails through the woods that can be used summer and winter. The cottage has a deck that over looks the ponds and large grass area. Our guests are welcome to enjoy if there is nothing else going on.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

The property sits in town but feels like your in the country. There is a paved bike trail just outside your door. And grass walking paths out your back door. The cottage has everything you need to stay for an extended period or just 2 nights for whatever brings you to town.
