I stayed here for 1 night for work. I enjoyed the neighborhood and the comfort of the house. I played guitar on the front porch after dark which was lovely.

We had a very nice stay here when visiting family. I had to call the host at 9:45pm to ask a question and she answered the phone right away and provided me with what I needed. House was clean and comfortable. It definitely provided ample space for the three of us which is what we wanted. It’s definitely a better option than a hotel if you need more space and freedom of movement at the same price or even lower than some hotel options. We will stay there again.

Long overdue Girls trip

In town for a wrestling tournament. This allowed my family to stay together. The place was clean and check in easy. The price was great.

Great stay in Wichita

A welcoming atmosphere awaited us upon our arrival. The house had fantastic, welcoming ambiance with plenty of room for our family to rest and enjoy. The shower was strong and warm, the yard kept up and safe, the neighbors friendly and helpful. Looking forward to spending time here again!

Great price!

We needed a place while traveling to Derby KS. Traveling with 4 grandkids we wanted something simple and efficient. This was it! Short drive to Derby, we relaxed and it was so reasonably priced. Quiet neighborhood, very responsive host. We would stay again.

Perfect Property

We were in town for a weekend volleyball tournament and wanted more space than your typical hotel stay. Everyone had their own room to relax and recharge. Beds were comfortable, everything was CLEAN. It was nice to sit on the front porch and drink my coffee in the mornings before a busy day. It wasn’t fancy, but much better than a hotel. We will keep this property on our radar for next years tournament!

This little house was clean and perfect for my family, while visiting the area, however there are a lot of things in the house where it is clear, repairs were done by someone who has no clue what they are doing. I also recived a reaponce, from the host, over a day later.

Simple and clean

This isn't the fanciest Vrbo that I have stayed at. But, it checked all the boxes that I needed for a quick one night stay in Wichita. Clean and comfortable beds. (They are quite firm, which I like.) Pleasant gathering space and a functional kitchen. The main cons are that there are no grounded outlets in the bedrooms. And, the kitchen is does not have very many pots and pans and utensils for big cooking. But, since we were just staying the night and not eating on site, it was perfect for our needs. Communication with the owners are quick and easy. Definitely better than having 4 adults cramped into one hotel room!

Exactly What We Needed

In short, the house was clean, comfortable, and perfect size on a budget. My wife, 1 year old, and myself stayed here over a weekend. The house was exactly what they stated online. It for sure was cozy and had the room we needed for the short stay, and the price was great. We read some reviews that the location was bad, but if you know Wichita it's pretty standard. It's not a luxury neighborhood but it was just fine. The reviews about parking is correct. There are a lot of cars parked on the street, but having a driveway made this a non issue. The reviews about the yard being overgrown is true, but I still played with our child in both the back and front yard and found it a non-issue. Beds being clean and comfortable is a must for me, and this house delivered on that. This is not a negative remark on the house but it is an older house, and older houses have older smells. This home was a comfort for our trip to Wichita! It has the nostalgic charm of an older house, yet is very well cared for, clean, and nicely decorated. The beds and living spaces were comfortable after long days, and the host added thoughtful aromatherapy touches throughout that made it feel extra welcoming. The neighborhood was peaceful and quiet, and the photos don’t quite capture how nice the home really is. We’d happily stay here again!

In Wichita for Midwest Catholic Family Conference

This is the second year to stay at this house. It is very nice & very clean. Last year I told you it would be preferable to have top sheets on the beds. As it is now, the only cover is a coverlet with no top sheet. I have to wonder if the coverlet gets washed after each guest stay. I always put a top sheet on my beds at home so that I can fold it over the coverlet. That would definitely be an improvement. We were pleased otherwise.

Mediocre at best

We stayed one night and would not have stayed longer by choice. The smell of the house was strong- not just "old house" smell as others have implied. People have clearly smoked in the house and the detergents used on the bedding were so strong it was hard to sleep. The shower is difficult to get to work (a simple explanation in the bathroom would help), but beyond that the shower is so clogged up with hair that it barrly drains. We tried to plug something into the bedroom and it caused sparks. The air didnt work in one of the bedrooms. We were woken several times by screaming neighbors (not the property's fault but it did detract from being able to sleep).

Great one-night stay

The inside of the home is perfect! Nice and clean, comfortable beds. Plenty of space for 2 adults and 2 teens. The outside of the home could use some cleaning up. The grass was pretty tall and the trees really needed trimming. This did not affect our stay at all. I also had a little trouble with locking the front door. You have ro hold down the lock button instead of just pressing it. Overall it was a great stay. Would stay again for sure!
