This home is located in one of the most beautiful areas of the Hudson Valley/Berkshires, on a quiet dead-end road, close to skiing, hiking, lakes, farms, and wineries, yet very private on the deck with endless mountain views. The house has been renovated to include an open, spacious living area and stunning new chef's kitchen with gas stove. 5 generous bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, and 2 powder rooms make this a comfortable house for everyone to spread out.

This is the perfect spot to bring together family or friends to eat on the screened porch, look at the stars from the deck at night, gather around the firepit, read by the fireplace, or watch movies in the media room on a 75" TV. Cable internet means everyone can study and work efficiently during your stay.

15 minutes to Great Barrington, 25 minutes to Hudson, and 5 minutes to Hillsdale town center. The location is close to numerous hiking trails, swimming holes, ski resorts, foodie restaurants, public tennis courts. But once you get to the house you may just decide to play pickleball in the driveway and ping pong in the garage, grill out on the deck, and relax in this spacious and comfortable home.

Weekend Getaway

The property is in a terrific location (close to all the spots in the Berkshires and Columbia County), and was very spacious, clean, and comfortable. The property owner was easy to communicate with.

Wonderful stay!

This house has a great setup. We were a group with ages ranging 5 to 80’s and we could all hang out comfortably here. The kitchen was great, the kitchen and deck have a great view. Some family came up from NY on the train and it was easy to pick them up and drop them off. Hosts were easy to reach and helpful. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

A beautiful home with lovely hosts

A knock-out gorgeous place in the midst of the Berkshires with a wonderful kitchen and enough room to entertain tired children after a day on the slopes. It was spotless, immaculately maintained, and in an excellent location. Don't miss out on Chillsdale!

Hillsdale happiness

Property has large kitchen, living room, screened deck and shaded outdoor deck that can easily accommodate large groups of friends. Kitchen is well equipped with modern appliances, dishes and silverware. We had a great stay.

What a Chill Time!

We recently had the pleasure of staying in this lovely house - a chill New York gateway to the Berkshires - and we couldn't have been more pleased with our experience. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the warm and inviting atmosphere of the home, which was both spotless and well-appointed. The house itself was spacious, with all of the amenities we needed to make our stay comfortable and relaxing. The bedrooms were cozy and comfortable, and the bathrooms were modern and stylish. But perhaps the best part of our stay was the serene and uninterrupted view from the back deck, which looked out over the Catskill mountain range. We spent many happy hours there, soaking in the sunshine and enjoying the peace and quiet of the surrounding area. Throughout our stay, our hosts were attentive and responsive, ensuring that we had everything we needed to make our vacation as enjoyable as possible. We felt truly welcomed and well taken care of, and we can't recommend this property highly enough. If you're looking for a peaceful getaway in upstate New York, this house is the perfect choice for your family, friends, or both. Thank you for an unforgettable vacation!

What a great home!!!!

We stayed in Hillsdale for three nights with work friends. We've been getting together for over 30 years for a short ski trip in the Berkshires. We're insurance professionals from Philadelphia and due to our busy schedules, we need to get away to connect. This home was perfect for us "older" guys. The owners have renovated it and it's awesome. Beautiful views off the back deck. A great value for us. Highly recommend it.

Pristine, comfortable and well appointed

Beautiful setting and property. Room to spread out, clean and new. Kitchen extremely well appointed. Books, games all current. Views were incredible. Wish there were a 6-star option.

Great family getaway

This is an incredibly comfortable and fun place to stay. Our multi-generational group of 9 (ages 11 to 86) had an amazing time here. Everyone had their own space to sleep and hang out. The beds, sofas and chairs were all super comfy. The incredible selection of books, board games, outdoor games and the giant TV kept everyone entertained all week. Its also spotless and has everything you could need. We spent lots of time on the screened-in patio eating and playing games, and star gazing at night on the deck. The location is fabulous - close to cute towns in NY and MA and great state parks for hiking and swimming. The hosts are very helpful and responsive. Can't wait to come back!
