Private Suite Wisconsin Northwoods Getaway

Located on the north branch of the Pike River (Wisconsin Class I trout stream), this private suite includes a private bath with clawfoot tub, handheld shower, and closet. The small kitchenette includes a refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven, electric frypan, Keurig coffee maker with pods, hot pot, and dishes. Dish Network TV and Wi-Fi are also included. An additional room is available for parties of three or four. Exterior cameras provide extra safety and security.
Pets are welcome for an additional $10 per night.
Long-term renters and ATVers welcome.

A wonderful experience! Looking for a quiet, clean and restful place to stay after a long drive, we certainly found it here. The hosts were both friendly and communicative, yet most respectful of our privacy. The deer and fawn feeding and playing on the back lawn in the morning near the gurgling stream was a welcome bonus. The bed was very comfortable, affording a sound sleep before resuming our journey. Salty especially appreciated the thoughtful treats. We look forward to hopefully staying again. Many thanks to Clark and Sherri! An excellent venue!

Family Deer Hunting Trip

3 of us stayed with Sherri and Clark for deer hunting (it was my second stay there). Our space was a little tight, but for our trip, we needed a comfortable bed to sleep in and means to get our pre-prepared meals ready to eat. The rooms were very clean, Sherri and Clark were very attentive to our needs and the Inn is located on the banks of the Pike River.

Romantic retreat!

The view of the stream was wonderful! So much bigger than we expected! Loved the owners and conversation! They live onsite but you have plenty of privacy. We hope to return one day! Our Sassy pup loved it too! Trisha & George & Sassy

Great Place

This is our second time staying at Pike River Inn. Every time has been great. We love the comfy beds and the wonderful clawfoot tub. Of course, a quick fish in the Class 1 trout steam is a must. Watching the wildlife and birds make this a perfect place for our family. Clark and Sherri are always a pleasure.

Super-comfortable suite, peaceful location, great experience!

My significant other and my two dogs had a lovely stay here. We enjoyed some really cool hiking in the area and loved the peaceful burbling river just out back! Host was super welcoming and helpful, and we were incredibly comfy during our time here. We'll definitely be back next time we pass through the U.P.!

Great for the price

Sherri was lovely and gave us everything we needed. The claw foot tub was perfect after more than 10 hours in the truck! What a beautiful spot. We will have to come back when we can fish. Thanks Clark and Sherri!

Great for a Getaway

I had a great time staying here for a few days to get away from the hustle and bustle of life and study for a licensing exam. It was cold outside but the electric fireplace in my "apartment" kept me warm. The best part of this was the stars as I could make out the Milky Way from the porch. Honorable mention is the WiFi which I had no problems with.

Very peaceful stay

The location was excellent, very peaceful setting along the creek, with a variety of places to sit and relax outside. Our hosts were wonderful and quickly responded to any needs. We were so happy to find a pet friendly VRBO, and they thoughtfully included treats for our kitties, too.

Exceeded expectations

Location is peaceful and beautiful. You hear the birds by day and crickets by night. Turkeys and deer abound. Super comfy and safe! Genuine family feel. Highly recommend.

Great value, great location

We only stayed one night, but the backyard was gorgeous and the room was clean and welcoming. Our host met us and went over all the details and was very friendly. Great spot and price if your in the area and want a quiet location. The only thing was the water smelled like sulphur so taking a shower or bath was a little unplesant, though the smell didn’t stick to our skin so it was only while in the water you noticed it.

Easy-going fishing retreat

A good place to rest, eat, and relax while fishing the nearby creeks and Pike River. Private back entryway is nice, as are the lack of rules. The piece of the river that flows through the property is nice to quickly drop a test line in the water before embarking to the surrounding area in search of trout holes.
