Wonderful place

Just what we needed- a great condo with beautiful views, pool with a views, close to beach and bay (where excursions leave from). We rented the golf cart too. Easy restaurants & shops walking distance. Can golf cart to nearby areas as well.

This property and our experience with Ben and Christian was exceptional! Beautifully decorated and well equipped for a great stay in Playa Flamingo. Ben was an excellent host and very communicative throughout our stay. Both he and Christian were quick to reply to any needs! Loved our time here!

Beautiful condo. We loved Playa Flamingo and enjoyed our stay. The views here are absolutely amazing. We found host very responsive and all questions were answered in a timely manner. The Beach and surrounding area so nice and easy walk or drive from unit. Really worth a visit!

Really a wonderful property! Excellent location! Property manager was readily available and responsive to messages. This property has more than enough space with detail to organization and provided towels, beach chairs, cooler, and even beach toys for use while staying. And the view...it is absolutely stunning!

Beautiful Condo!

This place was amazing - probably our favorite place we have ever stayed. Cleanliness is top priority for us and this place was spotless. Beds were super comfortable. Location was close to restaurants and beach. The Marina is beautiful and super close. As others have noted, you do have a walk uphill and a couple flights of stairs to condo from the beach/restaurants but we didn’t find this to be a problem given no knee problems, etc. Host was great and very prompt with responses. We would absolutely stay again, and in fact wanted to book for next year, but the condo is already taken for our dates! Beautiful space - don’t hesitate!

Wonderful Condo

The location of this condo is perfect in every way. We rented a car but you really don’t need to. The restaurants and grocery store are close by and very walkable. The condo is gorgeous with fantastic views. We went to Tamarindo for the day and were so thankful to go back home. We said Playa Flamingo and our place were like the Ritz Carlton of Costa Rica. We felt safe the entire trip and although we had a car we walked to dinner every night besides the night we went to Coco Loco at the end of the beach (10 min drive). The beach wasn’t busy and we had the guys set up a tent and chairs. If anyone asks for recommendations I would recommend this area and this condo. Perfect!!!! My husband is very picky and liked everything about our location and place.

Breathtaking View!

The condo was beyond impressive! The host has thought of everything. The comfort and design of the space is amazing. Me, my husband and 3 adult children in their 20’s all just loved this property so much we didn’t want to leave. We could just sit and look out the windows at the breathtaking view while lounging on the comfy furniture. There is several delicious restaurants close. We loved Amigos Tacos down the hill and Coco Loco which is right on the beach just down the road from the condo. La Forketta in Potrero is excellent Italian food. There is 2 grocery stores very close. We drove farther to another grocery store one day but really the ones closer we liked much better. If you want a fun day on the water Lazy Lizard Sailing is great. We did the sunset cruise and it was a blast. The pick up is down the road from the condo. Also the gracious host Ben recommended Angelo with Nomadic Bliss for a beach and fishing tour. I highly recommend planning that into your trip as well! We also took a 20 minute drive up to Las Catalina’s for an afternoon to have lunch. Such a neat area to visit while your there. The Flamingo Marina is a nice area down the street that has shops and restaurants. We also did the 30 minute drive to Tamarindo which is worth it as well. Pangas is a great restaurant there with gorgeous view. We have zero complaints and Ben the host was very helpful and professional throughout! This condo won’t disappoint!

Best views in Playa Flamingo

I’ll start with the bottom line, this is the condo equivalent of a 5 star resort with everything to make you feel at home instantly. We stayed for 7 nights and by day two my 3 kids asked if we could buy the condo and move from Florida to Playa Flamingo. The condo is beautifully designed with tons of attention to detail from the beach chairs, boogie boards, water cooler, towels, tile, custom high end furniture, workout area, 2 huge bunk beds, remote controlled shades, huge windows and sliding doors, ceilings, kitchen utensils, new appliances, power/USB ports on the head boards, separate WiFi for both floors, board/card games, soft beds and comfortable bedding, LED lights on the stairs, and mood lighting throughout. They even greeted us with a bottle of wine on the table. You can easily work from home here with the strong WiFi and cellular signal. Christian is the awesome property manager and was available whenever we needed but to be transparent we never utilized him as everything was provided and self explanatory. The WiFi was strong and passwords for both levels provided with signs on the condo and directions were even given for how to use the washer/dryer or coffee maker. We plan on coming back every year to this same condo. Finally the views, WHOA! Direct views of the Marina, Playa Conchal, Margaritaville, Playa Flamingo Beach, Playa Potrero, and the mountains. I would say there are over 200 degrees of views that never get old. The roads to the condo are all paved and there is security on site so it’s very safe plus there is an ocean view community pool. I would definitely recommend a rental car so you can drive around to all the sites like the Surfside Side Beach community in Playa Potrero. Great restaurants within 2-8 minutes are Hemingways, Cafe del Sol and Whiskey Howler in Playa Potrero, Coco Loco or Margaritaville beach restaurants in Playa Flamingo, and Gracia in the Mar Vista community. We travel a lot all across the world and this has been our favorite accommodations by far which is why I’m writing this long review so others can experience it. 5 stars!!! They thought of everything.
