Mello Yellow is wonderfully situated close to the Burke Gilman trail, Metropolitan Market and many restaurants with easy access to UW campus and U village. Nice to have off street parking, a kitchen to cook in and a place to relax together.

We were here to visit family. Having a house like this made the trip so enjoyable. We could eat breakfast and make lunches and have a great base from which to do all our activities. Being next to the trail was great to take advantage of for exercise. Being down the street from several grocery stores was so helpful. It was a comfortable enjoyable place.

A wonderful home right on a main walking trail. I fell in love with the home and the trail. The backyard is so peaceful. An excellent place to stay.

The house was fantastic! And I just loved the location. For anyone this is a perfect spot near a very walkable grocery store and restaurants. I absolutely love it.I can highly suggest anyone to rent this location. Only one small issue… The “check out” instructions online doesn’t match the written instructions inside. So my brother and I fallowed the written instructions on the inside.

True Home Away From Home

What a great place to stay. Great location and easy access to a beautiful Market right on the corner! Cozy and comfortable it truly felt like a home away from home. conveniently short drives to many fun Seattle sights.

Home away from home

Very comfortable and cozy. Have stayed here a couple times now and have enjoyed it both times. The fireplace is a nice feature.

Stay at Mellow Yellow

The location related to Seattle children’s hospital was great. Very walkable, even in midwinter. The house was great, and easy with a 1 year old. The host was very helpful when we had to change our checkout date.

Overall good stay however

Overall cozy place to stay. However when asked whether we could check in a bit early and check out a bit late because we have tons of stuffs to move (we are in the middle of our house renovation project), the hosting company charges 35 for one hour, which usually is a courtesy provided by other short-term stay hosts.

Anniversary vacation

Great location, nice neighborhood! Comfortable little house. We enjoyed our getaway and was able to spend a little time with our granddaughter that attends and lives on campus at the UW. Highlight was the neighborhood. Thank you

Perfect Getaway

This was our second stay at mellow yellow. Ariaan is very responsive to any needs/concerns. The home is clean and well equipped. It is in a great location and I love that we can easily access the Burke-Gilman trail from it. We have stayed here to visit our kids who live nearby.

Lovely home in a quiet, safe neighborhood

My family member and I stayed here as we needed to be at the UW Medical Center bright and early. We both loved the home. It is bright, well maintained, clean and nicely decorated. We both felt very at home here. It has all the amenities and odds/ends needed to have a comfortable, easy stay. The neighborhood is really quiet - easy to sleep and relax. I'd highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Seattle - I'll definitely be back myself.

Great stay in Seattle

Visiting friends in Seattle for a week. Great location to buzz around the city. We love Metro Market for groceries and enjoyed running on the Burke. Easy to get downtown to Pike Place, stadiums, and local parks. Clean and comfortable house. Great home base! Appreciated the washer and dryer and the window air conditioner units in bedrooms during hot days.

Comfort close to downtown.

Property was well appointed and had everything needed for a short term stay. House was clean. Beds could benefit from a more comfortable mattress or at least a mattress topper. Coasters for the living room would be a good idea. Phone charger bases for the living room and bedroom would be great.

Fireplace didn’t work, no paper towels, lacked basic condiments and front and backyard needs grooming. Backyard fence broken and missing a large section so would not be safe for young children until repairs completed. Interior of home needs repainted. Washer, dryer & dishwasher worked well. Owner is extremely cooperative, friendly and responsive to texts. Good location, close to market and only 10 minutes to UW.

We enjoyed our stay. However, the TV was unusable because it could not connect to the WiFi network and the living room wall heater was pretty noisy. Otherwise, it was fantastic. :)

Description of home and patio very overrated.Excellent location and floor plan, but lack of general cleanliness a definite issue and poor considering the 'Cleaning Charges' in the rental.
