We wanted to combine all our favorite features from various Airbnb stays around the world under one roof. We hope that we have accomplished just that, and we are always grateful for any tips that can help us get closer to this goal.

Great Place!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Amelia's Retreat! Our family was in town for an event at the GAC, and we needed dog friendly accommodations. This was perfect for our needs - highlights include the fenced back yard, the playground at the elementary school across the street, the Atari game console, and the close proximity to the Civic Center complex. The host was very responsive and accommodating, and we will definitely stay again!

Spring break with family

Stayed at this wonderful place with our family of four and two pups. The home was perfect. Enough room for all of us and well stocked. The dogs enjoyed exploring the yard and it is a very quiet neighborhood. Home away from home for us as we spent Spring Break visiting with family. Owner was great and replied promptly with any questions we had. We will definitely book again.

Friends trip

Great place and amenities

We had an amazing stay at Amelia’s place in Greensboro! The property was impeccably maintained, and it’s clear that the owner put a lot of thought into providing thoughtful amenities that made us feel right at home. Good Family Stay

My family and I stayed in the home over Thanksgiving and appreciated the fenced yard for our fur babies and a well-stocked kitchen for preparing meals. The beds are comfy and great water pressure in the showers. Everything we needed for our family gathering! Recommend!

Great house for my gateway

The house was great and the host, Richard was great with communication. All the snacks were a bonus and helped us when we arrived with getting something in our belly’s. The house was very clean and organized, and the backyard was great for my two frenchies to run around. All in all we loved our stay and would definitely stay again!!!

Quiet and Cozy!

Great for our needs

Richard was so responsive! The house was well suited for the 3 of us and the backyard was amazing. Convenient location to high point university while being close to downtown Greensboro. Would definitely stay here again!

Greensboro trip

After realizing we would need a place to stay longer than 1-2 days, and also needing a pet friendly location, I was able to find Amelia’s Retreat. It was the perfect spot, the home is nice, we had plenty of room, and the backyard was perfect for our little dog. The location was great and conveniently located to shopping and a variety of restaurants. We would love to stay here again on our future trips to the area!

Wedding Weekend

We stayed here to attend a wedding in the area and it was absolutely perfect! The house was cute, clean and well-stocked. We had quick responses from the owner and he was super nice.
