Your home away from home! This renovated and modern apartment is centrally located to everything in the Twin Cities. Just 8 minutes to Downtown Minneapolis, 7 minutes to Downtown St. Paul, and 10 minutes to Uptown! We are also blocks from Concordia, Macalaster, University of St. Thomas, and more! Would be a great space for families visiting college students.

The Space
This lovely 2 bedroom 1 full bathroom sleeps 5 comfortably. The kitchen is freshly renovated with stainless steel appliances and granite countertops! The living room is spacious and cozy for any family! The laundry room is located on the main level of the building and is free.

There are security cameras located in the front and back of the building to ensure safety to all guests.

Beware

Pictures look great online, but in real life this property doesn't live up to the description. After checking in, I spent the first hour dealing with cleanliness issues. The stainless steel appliances were smeared with some kind of cleaning product on the outside and were not wiped out on the inside. Had to clean refrigerator before we could put food inside. Kitchen floor tile was filthy, tub floor was gross. "Clean" washcloth had a huge wad of hair on it. Found child's toy and dog kibble on the floor while trying to unpack. Rugs had not been vacuumed. Not sure if linens had been stripped from previous guest, but many were piled high inside one of the closets, including wet towels. Pile was so big we could not hang our clothes in closet. Contacted host who answered many hours later, asking what she could do to make things better. Told her we could start by having someone remove linens in closet before they started to smell and a partial refund would be appropriate. Host ghosted me for the reminder of the stay. We checked out a day early.

You get what you pay for

This is a place to sleep and NOTHING else. The bedrooms were clean but the rest not so much. There was no table and chair (not one chair or countertop bench), which actually made the kitchen less useful, because there was nowhere to sit and eat. It was the Motel 6 of VRBOs, which is fine if that is all you need.

Great location but I wouldn’t stay here again

It wasn’t very clean and a security light shines through the broken blinds of the bedroom all night long. The building is rundown but clean. The area is great.

St Paul Stay

Neighborhood was ok. Close proximity to where we needed to be. Cleanliness was average. There were NO bath towels, less than half of a roll of toilet paper, no kitchen towels or paper towels. We had to go to target to buy towels so we could shower. Also bought some ice trays because there weren’t any, as well as toilet paper. The property was extremely basic with few amenities (no soap for shower so bring your own body wash). We needed a kitchen, bedroom and bathroom which was what we got. It was also one of the noisiest locations I have ever stayed at. Everyone that entered the building can be heard. Conversations are clearly heard from the parking lot and stair well at all hours of the night. Merriam Park area is nice. We had the basics, but will not stay here again.
