The house is small dog, house-dog friendly, with two dogs weighing no more than 25 pounds each allowed with no fee. Larger dogs are not permitted. With a well decorated and cozy 4 bedrooms and 2.5 bath layout, including two king suites, one with an adjustable luxury king bed, Deer Trail Lodge is the perfect vacation spot for your family of up to eight people. The cabin is located on a newly paved road with all roads paved to the home (there are several routes to the home, but one route is fully paved) . The updated central HVAC system ensures that guests have a cool summer mountain experience or a warm and toasty winter getaway! It is a rarity for a home on Beech Mountain to have central HVAC system! The two indoor fireplaces offer easy push button remote operation for instant heat. Guests frequently comment about how exceptionally clean and well-maintained the home is, and this is a result of the hostâs investment in and appreciation of the home.
The interior of the home is painted in a light and bright, modern white, with new hickory wood floors throughout the home. A mosaic tile backsplash is a great addition to the kitchen decor. On-site entertainment/relaxation opportunities include: foosball table, outdoor fire pit, corn hole boards, board games for all ages, childrenâs toys, family friendly VCR tapes, family friendly DVDs, access to TV programming on smart TVs, two decks with comfortable seating, outdoor grilling on Weber grill, two creeks, and frisbee golf goal.
Deer Trail Lodge is located at 4330 elevation, where cool temps are guaranteed throughout the day in the summer, with temperatures averaging in the 70°s in July and August (rarely gets to 80°) and snowfall is welcomed in the winter. In the fall, guests enjoy a blanket of fall color across the local mountain range in October or early November. While you relax at the fire pit for a night of clear sky star viewing and s'mores, your furry friend can enjoy fetching a ball in the flat, grassed yard.
