Lovely quiet little place

Lovely home with a big porch and great AC! Chris was helping us with this reservation and he was excellent. We will be renting again when needed.

Close to Grambling State University

Had what we needed for the stay. The things that were broken he had the handyman to come and fix. Except for the dishwasher we didn't know could not be fixed. Didn't have the pool table but loved the extra freezer in the garage.

Very disappointed

We didn’t get a code to check into the house until the morning check in. I was told when I asked about it I would atleast get it the evening before. We had over a 6 hour drive. In times past I have always received check in instructions a week or so in advance. We had trouble getting in when we got there. When we entered the house it smelled horrible. You could definitely tell that there had been a lot of marijauna smoked in the house. There was a basket of dirty linens on top of the dryer. We thought something was wrong with the AC and looked at the filter which you could definitely tell had not been changed probably ever. We went and bought new filters, candles and air fresheners. The comforter on the king bed was dirty. We washed all sheets and all towels and wash cloths before we went to bed due to the horrible odor. The pictures on VRBO definitely did not show the kind of neighborhood the house was in. I was shocked at the neighborhood due to pictures of house online looked to be good. There was a lot of condiments in the refrigerator and in the cabinets that were left. I guess I can say we definitely learned a lesson and will look way deeper and think a lot harder before we rent a house again.
