Beautiful views and location. Hosts were responsive but we really didn't have a need to reach out to them. There were cobwebs mostly outside, but for a place on the lake, you'd expect that. Checkout was easy. We would come back.

Positive impression and would stay again. Home is in need of a deep cleaning and some minor repairs (window screens have holes, coffee makers need replacing). Despite what others have said our group of 13 had no issues with the septic system

Very nice property, clean and ready for us. The communication about what to do at check out was minimal so we did what we have done in the past (stripped beds and ran the dishwasher as we left) There was a concern about a noise the ac unit was making that a technician came to check but was not resolved

The property was not as clean as advertised. Had 2 ovens and both did not work. Owner did not take any steps to fix them. There was a broken window in one bedroom and a fan that was covered in cobwebs in another. Decks and outside of house were filthy.

This was the perfect house for 14 people . Large kitchen and living room area. The bedrooms were the perfect size. The outdoor area was great and the fenced in yard was a bonus

The location is incredible! We loved being right on the lake and there are plenty of things in the kitchen for us to use. Had an issue with the air conditioner not working and the toilet in the master bathroom is definitely malfunctioning too but other than that it was a great stay

Family memories

Wonderful home on the lake, lots of fun things to do in area -tavern in Aurora, wineries of fingerlakes, many waterfalls and hiking trails.

Beautiful lakefront home

This was a lovely home in a beautiful location. We came up for the eclipse with a group of friends and family, and enjoyed our time playing games, cooking in the amazing kitchen, and taking in that gorgeous view!

Syracuse Graduation Stay

Stayed the weekend of my nieces graduation from Syracuse, a little drive from the University but beyond worth the drive. Family loved the home, communication with the owner was excellent, great experience. The house is amazing! Thank you Kris.

The property was beautiful and the sunsets on the lake were amazing. We did have a unpleasant problem with the plumbing but he owner did address the situation.

Spacious home with beautiful views

Large home with lots of room to spread out. Very nice views from all the windows. Outside could use some upkeep and maintenance but inside was clean and had all the basics you would need.

We had a wonderful time! The house is incredibly spacious and has everything you need. We were warned about water limitations but had 10 adults and 3 kids and had no issue with water during our stay. We were conscious of it- but the showers were hot and pressure was good, we even did laundry. The reviews regarding toilet issues shouldn’t worry anyone, the issue was definitely resolved before our stay and we didn’t run into any problems. The house was clean , the fenced in yard was amazing for kids and dog, and the beds were very comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to come back to enjoy this house in the summer as it is the perfect location for that.

Big house!

There aren’t many houses this big available. It was great for the 13 of us plus dogs. Had an issue with the AC but the host responded very quickly and a repair person was there shortly after to get it back up and running.

Spacious home with a gorgeous view of Cayuga Lake that easily accommodated 3 families. There is plenty of room to socialize, cook, and play games in the adjacent yard. As mentioned by other reviewers, the master bathroom toilet did not function well and required frequent plunging despite a visit from the plumber during our stay. Windows and floors had not been cleaned when we checked in. Host was very responsive and appreciative of our feedback.

Incredible property

We had an absolutely perfect Thanksgiving in this lovely home. The kitchen is a chef's dream (and I actually am a chef) The TWO convection ovens handled our Thanksgiving dinner no problem. Lots of space for 5 couples and a teen. The view and sunsets are magical. I would love to come back in the warmer weather to enjoy the outside features. Kris was very responsive to any questions we had before our visit and the day we checked in.

Amazing views for our family stay

We spent three days here with three generations of our extended family (2 elders, 6 adults, 1 teen and 2 kids). The views were absolutely amazing throughout both the main and basement levels. The kitchen is well laid out and supplied with all cooking essentials, plus far more (yes, it has both a 12-cup coffee pot and Keurig!). The house was very clean all over. The only small issues we had were some inconsistent heating, as some parts of the house were hotter than others, and occasional poor water pressure. Neither took away from our overall experience, and we would definitely stay here again. I had my dog with me and the fenced in side yard was wonderful!

Incredible home right on the lake...

We had a fantastic stay in this incredible home right on the lake. Initially it was just our family of four (two adults and two kids, 15, 11) and our border collie staying for the first two nights. Then we were joined by family from Canada for the next two nights, including our 8yr old nephew. The house is exceptionally well equipped and we had everything you could want for our stay. Plenty of room for everyone and amenities galore. We enjoyed the view from both inside and outside the home and would happily return again! Our dog loved it too, especially the fully fenced in yard complete with a lawn to play on! Communication from the owners was spot on and met our expectations for VRBO owner managed properties. Thanks for the great stay and to anyone on the fence, book it - million dollar views from everywhere!

Overall Amazing Place

My family & I had such a wonderful vacation at this house. The house is absolutely beautiful with outstanding views. The kitchen was well-stocked and had everything we needed. The yard was definitely a nice bonus for our dogs and young kids. We did have issues with the WiFi, but it was taken care of quickly which was much appreciated. The only con I can speak to was the cleanliness of the grill. It was quite dirty with cobwebs, bugs, etc. so my husband spent a decent amount of time scrubbing & cleaning it. All in all, it’s an amazing place for a large family. None of us wanted to leave. Highly recommend.

Nice getaway

The property is in a great location - quiet road directly on the water with lawn for our dog and firepit for relaxation and conversation. The property layout worked for us and provided beautiful views of the lake. A couple of things we would mention are: - Stairs need to be used from street level. We managed even though one person in our party was on crutches and our dog has mobility issues. - The lock on the sliding glass doors on the main level was tricky to use. We couldn't get it to lock. - The outside balcony felt spongy in one area which was a bit concerning. - There were only four of us, and we couldn't find additional paper products. Overall, we had a lovely stay at this beautiful lakehouse.
