No communication 4th bedroom not a bedroom

Arrived at property at 10pm with no communication on how to access after many attempts finally got response from property manager. She did apologize and offered a credit waiting for that? The listing does not say it is 2nd floor.. so anyone with physical limitations should not stay here. Also 4th bedroom is not pictured in the online listing and it is not a bed. A futon and not comfortable- the room to small to fit a bed. So if you need a real 4th bedroom like we did- do not rent. Location was great!

Nice Place, Terrible communication from managing company

We arrived late to a home after a long drive. left messages via the VRBO app about the facility not having hot water. Also about the gas stove not working. The fans didn't work without the lights being left on and the door didn't lock so we had to travel with all valuables. The lack of responses from the manager is very disturbing esp when all we would receive was auto messages that were previously set up. I called their # and all i could get was a recording. when I went to the website to get a service call the site was "currently experiencing a service interuption. STAGECOACH MANAGEMENT isn't up to VRBO's standards in my opinion.

Great place - fix the gas ;)

First, this is a 5-star place. The 3 spacious bedrooms have comfortable memory foam queen mattresses and plenty of storage for your stuff. There is a 4th smaller room set up as an office with a futon. It's clean with simple modern decor. And the location for visiting Rice or the Med Center is fantastic. We had one inconvenience during our stay: The gas meter was pin-locked off. So we didn't have hot water, and the cooktop didn't work. Communication through VRBO was somewhat frustrating, but in the end, things worked out to our satisfaction. We'd definitely stay here again if it's available.

Disappointed

At first glance everything looked good, but as we settled in the problems began to surface. Even though the house sleeps 8, we only had towels for 5. We couldn't find sheets for the futon, so our son had a pillow without a case and a blanket with no sheets. Finally, the biggest problem was the gas was turned off. Therefore, we could not use the stove, there was no hot water for our showers, and the dryer would not dry. In addition, one of the beds was missing screws in the frame and kept falling apart. Our son had to get up on multiple occasions to fix the bed in the middle of the night. We tried to contact the owner on multiple occasions, but heard nothing except the auto generated messages, but never responded to our questions.

Convenient to Rice University

Place was really amazing. Walking distance to Rice University and very convenient to Rice Village. Super clean and well stocked. It is on the 2nd floor up a flight of stairs which I don't believe was in the description. Not normally an issue but might be important to some people.
