Small spacious lakefront cabin built new in 2021, queen Murphy bed, includes free use of kayaks, mountain bikes, stand up paddle boards, lake swimming in season, small kitchen, 3/4 bath, covered patio with Adirondack chairs, BBQ, fire pit with wood provided . Breathtaking sunsets, birds, fish jumping and an occasional beaver. Very nice hotub, cabins are small, but very cozy; with a rustic feel. View of the lake is picturesque. The bed is very comfortable.

Cozy and Comfy

My only suggestion would be to remove the oversized couch (which can be another bed) and replace with another chair allowing more space in the unit that is designed for 2 people.The place was clean and bed comfy. We enjoyed our stay!

I was so looking forward to a stay in the woods in your darling cabin. However, my traveling partner had a mental breakdown and left the area for her home in FL.Please note neither of us stayed there unfortunately. So perhaps you could reimburse me for at least the cleaning charge and anything else that might be appropriate. So sorry to have missed this lovely opportunity. One of the best vacations I ever had

The property was absolutely beautiful and the cabin was perfect for a nice little get away. The hosts respond asap to any concern or question you have and the property has a bunch of water based activities to experience on the lake. We're definitely booking again next summer!

Cozy comfortable quiet little cabin on the lake. Close to everything. Host was absolutely amazing With suggestions on what to do in the area and places to eat. Enjoyed our stay.

Cozy tiny cabin

Cozy tiny cabin in a great location to explore the Yarmouth & Digby area. The bed is a bit on the firm side for my old bones--but aside from that, we found this to be a great little place to use as our base to explore the area.

Beautiful spot on lake doucette, cute cottage with everything you needed. Barbecue, bonfire pit, hot tub, kayaks, paddle boards (even a peddle boat) all right there for you. The bed was really comfortable, not hard or anything. Host was great no problem whatsoever. We would definitely go back again 10/10.

Beautiful property

Our stay was for only be night so we didn’t have a chance to use the SUPs, bikes or canoes. We enjoyed the view of the lake from our cabin. The cabin #9 which we stayed in is well designed and functional but was quite small for the two of us, especially when the Murphy Bed was extended. There’s plenty to do there with a longer stay and Wanda gave us good directions to a beautiful beach nearby.

Quick revisit

We stayed here at the beginning of our vacation and returned at the end to catch the ferry. Couple of items were missing: bath mat, no soap for shower and only decaf coffee pods. Minor inconveniences.

One of the best Getaways!

Each summer, another teacher friend and I try to experience something new. We viewed many places in Nova Scotia, but this one got our vote. When we arrived, we were thrilled with the accommodations and especially the view. Wanda & Rob were easy to get a hold of for suggestions as to what to do to fill our time.... other than the kayaking that they provided right on the lake! THANK YOU!

So relaxing!

What a lovely, compact, well-equipped cottage right on the lake. Gorgeous sunsets. We did not take advantage of the free use of the kayaks and standup paddle boards, but imagine they would have been a fun way to explore the lake. Mavillette is a spectacular beach - walk to the far end to see some fascinating rock formations - waves of black and white. Delicious fish tacos at the Wheelhouse in Belleveau's Cove and a great discovery of BMC seafood market and eatery in Meteghan. Would definitely stay again if we are in the area.
