This property has beautiful views of the ocean, gorgeous landscaping, and wonderful natural light. The home was clean and the bed in the primary suite was very comfortable. There were lots of beach towels provided which was convenient for going to nearby Hapuna Beach. The community swimming pool is a very short walk from the home, although we did not use it. Overall, we had an excellent stay!

A great place!

We had a very enjoyable stay at this property! It was very clean, very well stocked and had a great view! Easy access to a lot of amenities and the beach too!

Overall the place was excellent. Access to a pool and garage. Beach chairs, umbrella, cooler, boogie boards. Excellent. My only issue is all of the extra fees. You think when you first book it’s one price but ends up being much more expensive. The Mauna Kea beach was amazing. We didn’t need to pay for entrance when getting there before 8am.

This place was fabulous. Bright with light, ocean view and clean. Beautiful sunsets. Quiet except for the gas powered gardening tools being used on the glorious grounds. Kitchen could be a little more generous as to supplies. Overall would come back.

Relaxing stay

This condo is really nice and comfortable, with plenty of room. We had 5 adults, and everyone loved it. I wish it was closer to the beach, but it's really just a short drive to Mauna Kea and Hapuna beaches. We had a great stay.

Love Mauna Kea Resort location - will stay again

Best compliment I can say is: I would definitely choose this location in the future. We often stay on the Kona side of the Big Island and really enjoy the quiet of the Mauna Kea resort. This place exceeded all of our expectations. We especially loved sitting on the balcony while enjoying our coffee in the morning.

Beautiful condo but not clean. Had to wipe pasta water off of the counters, wipe sticky stuff off of cabinets, finger prints off of glass and map the floor 3 times to get it clean. Black mold in the main shower. No spices or condiments unlike other condos we've stayed in at the same area. This was our first condo managed by Restorica Hawai'i and not nearly as clean or stocked as others in the Kumalonni residences. Resortica communicates very well regarding check in and check out.

We would have had staff back in to remedy the issues immediately had we known. We certainly don't want our guests to spend time cleaning!
