Great stay

We very much enjoyed our stay at Bob and Barbara's house. The location was excellent, within walking distance to town (about 20 minute walk). Great views, nice and quiet at night. Hottub was a hit for the kids.

Great Beach House

This beach house was perfect for our family! Scituate is a cute little town and about an hour train ride into Boston. The house was clean and well stocked. The kids loved being on the ocean, climbing the rocks/exploring, and the hot tub (and of course the treats in the welcome basket :) Bob was great at communicating. Thanks for a great stay!

Beautiful

This was a beautiful property right on the water. Hosts were very accommodating and easy to reach if we needed anything. Perfect for a beach get away. Will be booking in the future.

My best vacation ever!

The host, property & location could not have been any better! House itself is spectacular - wonderfully clean, super comfortable beds & beautifully appointed. The kitchen had everything we needed and then some. I really look forward to returning

Great stay

This was a perfect location for our return to Scituate to visit friends & family. Right on the water with great unobstructed views & convenient/quick access to the harbor. The house was clean, comfortable & exactly as advertised. Bob & Barb were very easy to communicate with and extremely helpful every step of the way. Highly recommend!

Colorado Visitors

Bob & Barbara were great hosts. Wind & Rain came through Situate from Hurrican Lee and Bob stayed in continued contact with us to make sure we were ok and not in need of anything. This home is a great location for a nice 20/30 minute walk into town for a little shopping or eating. Thank you for your hospitality.

Our new favorite spot

We absolutely loved our stay at this property. It has been maintained very well and is extremely neat and clean. Bob and Barb were the best hosts! They literally have thought of everything. We stay at a lot of different rentals and this was by far our favorite. I mean who wouldn’t want to wake up to breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean! We can’t wait to go back!!!

Family reunion

Our stay at the property was fantastic. We had all of our family come and enjoyed this magnificent location for the week. The property owners were super responsive when we had an issue with the upstairs bathroom and really tried to accommodate our needs. They even surprised us with toys for our two-year-old grandson's birthday. Little details made the difference even though the week was super-hot. The only thing that would have made this stay better was another window air conditioning unit for the upstairs, but again, we were there on a very hot week which probably isn't characteristic of this area. The breeze on the porch was amazing and watching the lobster boats every morning with our cup of coffee was a treat. We loved walking to the lighthouse and swimming at the many beaches in the area.

Nice little beach house

We enjoyed our stay. Communication was great, quick responses. They were very thoughtful with their provisions. A lot of little touches you don't find in most rentals. That was very nice. And my husband did say the beds were comfortable, something he never says. The 4 stars is for two things. 1. The primary shower is in need of updating/replacement. 2. The AC is portable and while it is in each bedroom, it's noisy. We had good weather and would have loved to open the windows, but unfortunately that would let bugs get in so we had to keep them closed. Otherwise we had a great time!

Clean, well furnished, with everything you need. The owners go above and beyond. Fabulous view of the ocean from the back porch; quick walk to the lighthouse and easy walk to the local store for a paper or a bite.

Wonderful experience!

My family and I had an amazing time in Scituate. The whole experience was effortless. Bob & Barb have a lovely home and have thought of everything a guest would need during their stay. Communication with Bob was easy and began right away. The view is incredible, the neighborhood is perfect for a stroll and there are many beaches to choose from in the area. I definitely recommend staying with Bob & Barb!

Best VRBO ever

Bob and Barb could not have been more accommodating. The house was spotless, the kitchen very well set up for cooking, and the view magnificent. Easy stroll to the local shop for a paper. The welcome basket was a pleasant surprise and all the toys for the grandchildren very thoughtful. Really a pleasant stay and would definitely come back.

Fabulous location and view

The home has a wrap around covered porch so you can get breezes from ocean or harborside! It is located within walking distance of Scituate Harbor and all of the shops and restaurants. Lovely hammock to lay in and watch the boats and birds and seals! Perfect location!

Fantastic Oceanfront Home

Great location near Sand Hills beach and lighthouse. Close to main drag with cute shops & restaurants. We enjoyed sitting out on the front porch in the morning and the back deck watching the seals. Bob was a great host and communicated with us throughout the stay.
