Enjoy lovely views of the mountains, overlooking our skating pond, and experience complete tranquility and privacy in our beautiful, new modern farmhouse, on 52 acres of forest: perfect for hiking, nature watching, leaf peeping in the fall, and sledding, snowmobiling or snowshoeing in the winter!
In the summer, pick your own blueberries from the cultivated blueberry farm, bring them on in and bake yourself a pie, or enjoy the abundant raspberries and other farm fruits on the property.
Only 12 minutes to Okemo allows year round outdoor entertainment for the skier, golfer, or mountain biker. And if you have a small boat, pop it in the nearby lakes for a day of fishing and relaxing or tubing and swimming. Butternut falls is right near by, as are a host of great restaurants and farm stores.
We are close to the Vermont Summer Festival horse show in Dorset for summer fun. (45 mins) Or enjoy Okemo's ropes course, summer concert series, or Bromley's summer line up.
The home itself is a modern replica of an 1830's farmhouse, so we boast all the modern amenities, with antique charm. The house is newly appointed with curated furnishings, art, and accessories appealing to the modern farmhouse esthetic.
In the main house, we have three bedrooms, two with comfy new king beds, and the third with 4 twin bunks. )Possible to add bonus room with additional king).
Our large custom designed farm table is the perfect setting for large family dinners, and the landscape would lend itself to a small party, like an anniversary or birthday, set in the mountains, with privacy and beauty in abundance. Please contact me if this is of interest.

Our family has enjoyed the Vermont experience for decades.... As a kid, we had a home near the lakes close to this house, skiing Okemo and enjoying Vermont's splendor. Once my husband and I had our own family, we first owned right on the mountain where we could walk to ski, but we were missing the "rest" of Vermont: the outdoor fire - sled riding - snowman making - leaf peeping Vermont Air feeling..... So, we moved! We found this exquisite retreat, which fills all the boxes for us.

What I love about this house, is that it's NEW, but is a replica of an antique home!! I love the look and feel of a classic Vermont Farmhouse, but did not want the challenges that inevitably come with maintaining an old home. This house is super modern, but so classic. Decorating it was a blast, and every time I walk in, I am just simply happy to be there.
Vad som gör detta boende unikt
The views are just spectacular. The pond, birds, willow trees, blueberry bushes.... the grasses and flowers and giant rhododendrons, and perfect white birches make the property. It's straight out of a storybook. My aunt who visited for Thanksgiving said, "it's a perfect Hallmark Holiday!" and when you're there, you will see that she is exactly right.
