Om boendet

Huset är omgivet av en välskött trädgård med en stor gräsmatta, träd och blommande buskar. Två sovrum på bottenvåningen och ett stort loft med privat badrum, privat terrass och max. fyra bäddar gör huset perfekt för större familjer eller Vänner grupper. Höjdpunkten är naturligtvis den underbara poolen med dykbräda och massagestrålar, som kan belysas på kvällen och därmed säkerställer en trevlig, avslappnad semesterstämning.
På bottenvåningen finns ett vardagsrum, ett fullt utrustat kök, ett badrum och två sovrum - ett med en dubbelsäng, ett med en 1,40 bred säng och en enkelsäng. Rummen är helt nyinredda, sängar och madrasser etc. är helt nya.
Hösten 2018 hade vi ett luftkonditioneringssystem installerat i de två sovrummen på bottenvåningen, som också har en värmefunktion. Detta kan vara mycket trevligt på semester på våren eller hösten, eftersom det är svala kvällar på Sicilien under lågsäsongen. Bottenvåningen har en bostadsyta på cirka 85 m2. De flesta äter på den stora täckta verandan.

På vinden, som kan nås via en extern trappa, finns ett stort vardagsrum med 4 bäddar (en dubbelsäng och två enkelsängar), privat badrum och privat terrass. Detta gör villan idealisk för familjer med äldre barn som vill "ha sin lugn" eller familjer med små barn som åker på semester med sina föräldrar eller svärföräldrar. Luftkonditionering är också installerad på vinden.
Alla fönster har myggskärmar och fönsterluckor. Trädgården är omgiven av en grön vägg, så att gästerna verkligen kan koppla av och ingen kan se dem bada. Platsen är också tyst, huset ligger i en blindväg i utkanten av Fontane Bianche, så det finns ingen genomgående trafik. Fontane Bianche-stranden ligger cirka 900 meter bort, där det också finns barer, restauranger och olika små butiker.

För större shopping rekommenderas en resa till Cassibile, bara 1,5 km bort, där det finns flera stormarknader, apotek, banker, pizzeriaer och restauranger.

Absolutely fantastic!

We had a brilliant fortnight staying here - the house and garden are just as described and brilliantly equipped. Our host was so incredibly responsive and had already sent us details of things to do in the area, restaurants to try and shopping options nearby - all hugely appreciated and very useful - loved everything about the property and the area and we have had a wonderful family holiday here!

Fontanne bianche

The house is in a very good location. Proximity to beautiful cities such as Syracuse, Noto and Modica. Moreover, close to a very nice sandy beach. The house is well-kept, equipped with all the necessary things. I heartily recommend it to everyone who is considering renting it ♡

Good calm, central location. Beautiful garden, well looked after with very nice swimming pool. 2 bathrooms but one accessed via an outside staircase. House had everything required. The interior of the house was cool, perfect for summer but quite cold in April. We were comfortable there.

Fabulous villa and wonderful host

Four of us (2 adults, kids of 13 and 10) had a great week at this villa at the end of October. Despite the late season, the weather was ideal for sightseeing and the water was warm - and the beaches uncrowded. The villa is in excellent condition - very clean, very well equipped and ideal for a family. The pool is large - you can properly swim in it. However, what really up-levels it is the diving board. We had so much fun jumping off it. There are lots of things to see and do in the local area, enabling a nice balance of culture and relaxation. All in all, we highly recommend this villa and the excellent host.

Lovely villa in a quiet area

We had a fantastic holiday at this lovely villa. The garden and pool are the star of the show with a selection of shade under trees or the outside dinning area. We didn't use the lounge at all although it looks comfortable. There is a good bbq and excellent kitchen with all you need to cook good meals. There is a good restaurant within walking distance serving great pizza also will do take away. During our stay the temperatures got upto 37° so we tended to return to the villa at midday going from pool to shade and the fridge for wine or beer. We tended to shop at Lidl as local shops didn't stock that much, + the market at Otigia well worth a visit. A big thank you to Anne for allowing us to rent your lovely villa.

Fantastic Villa

The Villa is perfect for larger/extended families. We were a family of 5 and my in laws and the space worked perfectly for us. The location is perfect for Fontane Bianche beach which is easily walkable and the local bakery which we used for fresh bread and pastries most mornings. The beach and sea is lovely and we tended to have a dip early evening when it was less busy and a little cooler. The kitchen at the Villa is well stocked and there is a BBQ by the pool which we used a number of times. The pool itself was great and the kids loved the diving board. In order to explore the island you must hire a car. This allowed us to travel to Syracuse, Noto and Ragusa which are all beautiful! (Driving is not for the faint hearted or nervous in Sicily, however). Anne is an exceptional host and responded promptly to any queries (although we didn’t have many) and having holidayed as a family for a number of years we agreed that it had been the best we had been on. Whatever you do make sure that you take a trip up Mount Etna. We took a 4x4 jeep trip and it was breathtaking! Thank you so much Anne for such a fantastic stay in Sicily!

Super ausgestattetes Haus mit wunderschönem Garten und tollem Pool! Absolut empfehlenswert!

Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen und uns in dem Haus mit dem wunderschönen mediterranen Garten sehr wohl gefühlt! Der Pool war klasse! Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet, die Betten sehr bequem und es bietet genug Platz. Die Kommunikation mit der Besitzerin war absolut unkompliziert und freundlich. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Herrlicher Aufenthalt

Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Das Objekt mit Pool entspricht genau der Beschreibung. Küche sehr gut ausgestattet. Beide unteren Schlafzimmer mit neuen Möbeln ausgestattet. In der Mansarde leider kein Schrank bzw wenig Möglichkeit um Kleider aufzuhängen.

Schönes Anwesen

Kommunikation mit der Besitzerin über WhatsApp klappte sehr gut, sehr freundlich. Ankunft ohne Betreuung, suche die Schlüssel...hat aber alles geklappt. Sehr sauber, ruhige Lage, wenn manchmal der Nachbar mit Baulärm nicht wäre. Alles vorhanden. Das Obergeschoss nicht so wirklich zu empfehlen vor allem für große Leute. Leider vor Ort nicht so viel zu bieten, bis nach Syrakus halbe Stunde Fahrt, sehr schön dort. Bis Catania und den Ätna über eine Stunde Fahrt. hat sich nicht gelohnt, 50 € für Seilbahn. Leider wenig unternommen da bist zu 33 Grad heiß. Die Betten waren etwas hart, ist aber Geschmackssache und die Mücken waren draußen eine Katastrophe. Trotzdem schöner Urlaub für eine Woche.

Lovely villa

The villa was lovely and really well equipped. Anne, our host was only an email or WhatsApp away to answer any of our questions. Pool was fabulous and the garden was really spacious. I loved lounging around in the hammock whilst the kids swam in the pool or played darts. We had some great days out. Mount Etna and Ragusa were highlights and Siracusa and the Grand Cava gorge were also great. Fontaine Bianche itself is a slightly odd place but a great base to visit Taoramina, Mount Etna, Syracusa and Ragusa with sone great swimming spots near by. When we couldn’t be bothered to cook the takeaway pizzas from the restaurant in the village were great and good value. The vast amounts of litter by the roadsides though did spoil things a bit, especially when recycling is encouraged at all the major tourist attractions!

Wonderful Villa

Rented this fantastic villa for a week. Anne was super helpful with any questions before our stay. Villa was very clean, great modern decor and furniture and a fully equipped kitchen. Bathrooms and bedrooms good sizes. Air conditioning in every room. Gardens were beautiful and lots of space outside so could choose whether sun or shade. Pool a great size and lovely and clean. It really felt like home from home. Anne is a super host and so helpful, I would recommend this villa highly.

Wonderful Villa

The property is located on a quiet cul-de-sac near the train station a 15 minute walk from the beautiful beech, cafe’s, mini market and a couple of restaurants located in the “unspoilt” Fontaine Bianche. The villa itself feels newly renovated and set in a well established garden which has a small orange grove as well as lemon trees which produced the most flavoursome lemons we have ever experienced. The pool is an absolute necessity and was used daily by the family, especially the diving board! Inside the accommodation you have a second floor “attic” which is basically an en-suite large bedroom with an outside terrace that could easily sleep 4 people. On the ground floor you have two good sized double bedrooms a great kitchen and lounge area with a family bathroom. We spent most of our time outside on the terrace enjoying the weather, BBQ, gardens and pool with its own outside shower. Anne, the host, was easily contactable and a joy to deal with before and during the holiday and we cannot recommend her highly enough. Believe the reviews, this is a real hidden gem so much so my wife suggested not leaving a review and keeping it a secret as we will definitely be back.

Sizilien im Herbst

Wir waren im November in Fontane Biance. Dies war ein gewisses Wagnis. Aber wir wurden durch einige schöne Sonnentage, an denen wir den tollen Pool nutzen und auch im Meer schwimmen konnten, belohnt. Auch Sturm und Regen bei Temperaturen von 18 bis 20 Grad lassen sich in dem schönen und gut ausgestatteten Anwesen gut aushalten.
