Nestled in the Heart of Whistler Village, the Carleton Lodge is located at the base of Whistler Mountain and provides guests with the ultimate convenience having the gondolas, shops and restaurants steps from your door.

Guests under the age of 25 are only allowed to check in with a parent or official guardian.

The Space:
This two bedroom, two bath property epitomizes stylish resort living with modern furniture and open kitchen fully equipped. Get the full Whistler experience by staying in the heart of the village in a suite steps away from skiing, shops, restaurants and bars. Enjoy the large balcony overlooking Whistler village and both Sproat and Rainbow mountains. Our property comes complete with secure and accessible ski storage facilities. Now, you can effortlessly store your gear after an exhilarating day on the slopes, ensuring a seamless transition from mountain excitement to relaxation in the comfort of your home away from home.

Guest Access:
Guests will be given a set of access codes prior to their arrival. Enter via the village lobby doors or have access from the private parking garage.

Gibbons Life’s place is located in Whistler, British Columbia, Canada.

Whistler Village is the hub to some of Whistlers’ iconic restaurants and bars. Enjoy the sunny patio at the Longhorn Saloon or dance the night away at Buffalo Bills. Book activities at one of the many adventure companies around the Carleton Lodge or connect with our reservations team to secure your table at one of our many hospitality locations.

Getting Around:
No need for transportation, you can walk everywhere once you get to the accommodation!

Other Things to Note:
QUIET TIMES
We encourage you to experience all that Whistler has to offer, including going out to enjoy the nightlife. We ask that you remember that there are other guests throughout the building that might not want to be in on your party program, please respect the buildings quiet time from 10pm to 8am. Excessive noise complaints will lead to a Security call out, a $200 fine or eviction depending upon the severity.

HOUSEKEEPING
Housekeeping service is provided at the end of your stay. The town of Whistler is committed to environment sustainability so please help Gibbons Life contribute by reusing your towels during your stay. Additional cleaning fees will be charged if the condo is left in an undesirable state.


NO SMOKING POLICY
There is no smoking permitted anywhere inside or outside of the condo as per strata rules throughout the building. A $500 fine will be applied to your account if there is any smoking in the condo or on the balcony.

PET POLICY
As a house policy, we want to keep the property pet free due to guest allergies. An additional cleaning fee of $50 per night will apply if there is evidence of a pet in the room.

FIREPLACE
The fireplace is only for show, please do not light a fire in the hearth. Additional cleaning fees will be charged if this is used.

Interaction with Guests:
As a property management company, the Gibbons Life team works remotely from our village hub during regular business hours 9-5pm.

After 5pm our phones will be forwarded to our dedicated after hours team at our partner property, The Adara.

Best location, great condo
Location - we could not have asked for a better location. It is a block from gondolas to both mountains and all the best dining, bars and shopping. Firepit/View/Deck - the deck with gas firepit was great! Wonderful views and great people watching. Unit itself - great large common area and decent size bedrooms. As others have said it could use some updates but nothing in the bedrooms or baths I’d complain about. Note: there are no drawers such as a dresser or nightstand but I think with the size of those rooms a king size bed would not fit with furniture and I’d rather have a big bed. Bring yourself some extra hangers but the unit has quite a few. There’s storage, just not in drawers. I used packing cubes knowing this from the online pics. Kitchen - I think our only compliant, and only in a minor way, is the kitchen. It is pretty sparsely outfitted re utensils and we ended up buying foil, steel wool for the pans, plastic wrap, ziplock bags (no storage for leftovers). Pans had been abused by other renters I guess so we needed steel wool to clean them (left box for next renter). Our hosts were great! They got us in early, immediately fixed a code issue and even ran over a can opener mid-cook and brought a fifth chair for the dinner table. I could not have asked for better service than Gibbons Life! Shout out to Georgia and Robbie for being so responsive. We highly recommend this place and knowing its quirks we would be more prepared in the future.

Very nice property located nearest to the main gondola. Clean, quiet and very comfortable. One of the few 2-bedroom condos with a king bed and bathroom in each bedroom. Very suitable for our party of two couples. Also, bedrooms were on opposite sides of the living area giving added privacy - couldn't hear any snoring! This was during September off-season which turned out to be a great time to visit Whistler without summer or winter crowds.

Central location in Whistler Village
We visited Whistler late July/early August, 4 nights/5 days, family of 4. Pros: Property location is centrally located in the heart of Whistler Village. Condo is located steps away from the gondola/ski lifts, especially if you are here during ski season. Shops, grocery stores, restaurants and bars all conveniently nearby. Large balcony overlooking the village and mountains. Beautiful views. Enjoy a morning coffee or dine al fresco. It also has a fire pit for cold nights. Fits a family of 4 comfortably. Has a pull out sofa bed in the living room for 2 more guests. Communicating with the property manager is very good. We had some wifi issues our first night. The TV would pause and not function and wifi would lag. We didn't discover this until evening, so I e-mailed the property manager. They responded back to me early the next day and took care of the situation right away. We were also missing a coffee pot from coffee maker. They purchased a brand new coffee maker and delivered it the same time they took care of the internet. Any smaller details or questions we had they were very responsive and helpful. Cons: The cons primarily refer to function and cleanliness. Some areas of the carpet were not clean and had dark markings. Quite a few dishes had to be run again. Not clean or ready to be used. One bathroom had slow sink drainage and the shower had low water pressure. The other bathroom was fine. No AC in the bedrooms, just the living room area. We caught the tail end of a heat wave, so we had to leave our windows open at night. It was noisier due to bars being close by and people leaving late at night. No floor fans available. Luckily as each day passed, it got a little cooler at night. We're not as sensitive to outdoor noise if we were able to keep our windows closed. Although the property is outfitted with some modern furniture (very tastefully decorated) it's a dated property and would benefit from some upgrades. Consider adding more storage like a small dresser and/or nightstands in each room. For the rate it was asking per night, and comparing it with other comparable properties, we had higher expectations. It was on the high end, but would have been well worth it if the property was updated with upgrades. The minimum, do a quick sweep to make sure everything in the property is re-stocked, working properly, and clean. For it's location, surrounding amenities, and convenience, 5 stars. 4 stars because it could use some upgrades.

Great location
Right by the gondolas. Very convenient. Good communications. When we had trouble with a couple of stuff, they were quick to answer their phone and fix the problems.
