Great little getaway!

Very comfortable accommodations. Owner was great to work with. A very beautiful area. Took advantage of apple season and checked out a bunch of different orchards and their markets. Overall great time!

Does The Job

Low-key little cabin that does the job. No bells or whistles, but those aren't always necessary for our family. My kiddos LOVED the spiral staircase & downstairs room which they used as their playroom. The 3 beds -- bunks + twin -- were great for our family. The kitchen was adequate & allowed us to easily cook meals during our stay. I am hoping for some upgrades -- new bed in the primary, nicer bedding, repairs to the deck -- that would make a return stay more enjoyable.

Weekend Trip

We were there for a wedding from Thursday to Sunday. The beds were very uncomfortable and the WI-FI was horrible! I’m not sure if something was wrong in the area but the TV’s weren’t working and neither was the Wi-Fi . We were only there for a long weekend so it wasn’t that bad Overall it was clean but extremely outdated. Thank goodness we were really on there in the evenings to sleep! Owners tip “ re decorate “ !

Small and cute cabin in the woods

The location and views of this cabin was perfect. The neighborhood offered so many fun things to do and exceeded our expectations. The place was decent except there was a massive roach problem throughout our stay there. We understand we were staying in the woods and a few bugs here and there are to be expected, but we had many roaches both dead and alive in the place. The hot water in the shower also runs out relatively quickly in about 5 minutes. The wifi connection also comes in and out quite a bit and we had to unplug the router a few times to restart it ourselves. I would say it was a nice stay overall and I would definitely come back and visit if the roach problem is fixed.

Comfy & Cozy

We had a great stay! The home was clean, comfy, and cozy. Great view with tons of natural light. Easy to get to amenities in the community. We recommend staying here and hope to return to this home in the future!

Big canoe is a great location for family and kids and we had a great time. However this house and owner have some issues. The house looks like it hasn't been updated since the 1980s. The steps to the entrance have a piece missing so you need to watch your step every time leaving. There's some rot in the wood supports. The sheets had crumbs in them. This house is managed by a company called Vacasa and the only time they replied to a question was after waiting on hold for 30 minutes. Will not rent from them again.
