A great getaway on the Big Laramie River is waiting for you. If you are interested in fishing for
trout the Big Laramie River is for you. You will have over 3 miles of access to river fishing. The Little Den is secluded, newly remodeled, efficiency cabin and is nestled along the Big Laramie River. It affords numerous miles of hiking, ATV and snowmobile trails in Jelm BLM and in the Medicine Bow National Forest. The iconic Snowy Range Mountains are a short and scenic drive away.

Awesome October

Myself and my dog spent the entire month of October in the little Den. It is amazingly comfortable. trails along the river are beautiful. It is ultimately a warm and inviting place to stay. The scenery is magnificent, and I will plan to return in the future.

Mountain stream cabin

Awesome view and scenery. Newly remodeled cabin, great place to stay. Travel in these mountains did not seem as difficult as many other mountain ranges we have visited. Nice quiet place to relax. Highly recommend this rental.

Tiny home paradise

This tiny home is everything a person could possibly want for a getaway. The place is well decorated, clean, filled with all sorts of amenities, and the outdoor space is amazing. The owners are friendly and quick to respond! Would totally recommend coming for vacations!

Peaceful and comfortable

Phil and Jennifer were wonderful hosts and the Little Den was a perfectly set up place for the two of us and our dogs. We fished and relaxed, the kitchenette and propane grill were amazing for meals, and we slept comfortably. Everything was so thoughtful and well-appointed. Highly recommended for a getaway in a beautiful part of this beautiful state!

Easy to get to even in winter conditions, exceptionally quiet and clean, charming. Property owners thought of everything to make this quiet little gem just perfect for a weekend getaway. The bed is comfortable, the shower is strong, the kitchen is well stocked, and the entire place is perfect for settling the mind. I will be back!

Beautiful location and accommodation

Traveled to Wyoming to escape Texas heat. Absolutely beautiful property with the river close enough to hear at night. Incredibly fast wi-fi connection. Wonderful dark skies at night for stargazing. The house was equipped with everything you could need, including a dog bed for our dog. Philip (the host) made us feel welcome, and responded quickly to any texted questions. Will definitely stay here again in the future.

Great location and beautiful upgraded cabin!

Great experience except heat was soooo low (about 45) upon arrival, and it was about 4 outside- by checkout it had warmed up to a comfortable level; could use a fireplace! But otherwise it was very nice, comfortable, quiet, and nature views abounded. Looking forward to coming back during a warmer time. Thanks for the stay!! *****

Anniversary getaway

FANTASTIC! In all our years of taking short getaways. This one was absolutely the best, because we brought our nut case dogs, and they were in heaven with us. We are trying to figure out timing for our next trip up there if the owners will have us back. We can HIGHLY recommend but just know, if you are a TV person their isn't one. Absolute serenity :-)

Hidden gem

Stopped here for a couple nights on our way from Colorado to South Dakota so my husband could fish. He loved walking right out the front door and on to the River, while the dog and I enjoyed our solitude at the house. While it’s an efficiency unit it was just perfect and simple. Great use of space and well decorated. Just perfect especially if you are really looking to unplug and unwind and get in touch with nature.

AhhhhhhhhMAZING!!!

This is a very special property. The location, the amenities (hot tub, RIVER!). Beautiful views and a very wonderful setting with privacy and THE RIVER! The property is so well stocked and kept. So very comfortable and beautiful with the nicest of touches and updates. And the owners were wonderfully accommodating and responsive. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and soaking in the hot tub during the gentle and welcomed rain. We will be returning!!!! We wish we never had to leave.

Relaxing vacation

During the day we would ride the trails in the area with our SxS, and then in the evening we would come back and sit and listen to the sound of the River. Our puppy loved the area, the grass was thick and she loved to just roll around in it. Meals were easily made in the simple kitchen. Everything we needed was there. The little den was perfectly decorated and so very relaxing. Wonderful Wi-Fi. I had to work a few hours on one day and I had no issues (unlike when I’m back home in Kansas). We definitely will be back!

Two years ago my sister and I purchased the Little Den, which was a sun room with three car garage. We renovated the entire cabin and created two separate rentals. My sister developed the VRBO website. We rented the unit out for a year with all positive reviews. I purchased my sisters half in April 2022. My sister mistakenly cancelled the VRBO. So my wife and I are starting over. We live right across the river from the Little Den in this beautiful area.
