Easily accessible, one bedroom apartment on ground floor. Also includes a queen Murphy bed. Wonderfully equipped kitchen with beautiful granite countertops. Separate dining area. Relax in the excellent living area with leather couch, armchair and recliner while you watch your favorite shows on the 75 inch TV. All tile bathroom with glass door walk-in shower. Enjoy a quick game of chess, get some work done or just relax by the fireplace in the separate sitting area. Pack less and use the deluxe clothes washer and dryer. Incredibly comfortable bedroom with King Bed, full length mirror and TV. Private outdoor spaces includes outdoor dining area and fire pit area.

Exploring NC

My husband and I stayed for 25 days exploring and experiencing the Valdese area. We enjoyed the apartment, deck and property. Very peaceful and quiet. We couldn’t have asked for a more comfortable and convenient place to stay. We are looking forward to our next visit.

Spacious and cool summer retreat in natural beauty

This apartment was a wonderful home base on my work trip. My wife spent the most time there and relaxed with our dog in both the well-equipped apartment and gorgeous raised deck. The bed is super comfortable and the apartment is a lower level, so it stays really nice and cool in the heat. There is chess, Roku TV, and another smart TV to keep you entertained. The property has amazing views and a ton of bird visitors, which is very much our thing. It's conveniently located near I-40, as well as 5 mins south of Lake Rhodhiss. You can drive into Valdese in a couple of minutes or walk if the weather permits. Overall a great stay. Thank you John and Glenda!

Valdese Homecoming!

Mr John was so nice and helpful! We came back to my hometown for a wedding and this was the perfect place to stay for the weekend. Fully equipped with everything you need. Nicely renovated and a very inviting porch area to enjoy company in the outdoors. Would absolutely stay again.

We absolutely loved this place! We cannot say anything negative! It was decorated so nicely and furnished with anything you could need. So cozy and comfortable. The owners were so nice and accommodating. We will certainly go back and highly recommend.

Amazing all around

Thank you to Mr and Mrs Mercer, pictures didnt do it justice. Both of us loved the apartment as it had everything we could need, and our hosts we extremly helpful and very inviting. The fire pit was a great benefit and was a perfect way to end the day. My wife commented that the bed was the most comfotable bed and led to our best nights of sleep. Property was perfectly located for us too, as we were attending a family weddjng in town. Close to the venue, hikes and a short drive to hickory for shopping made it a perfect spot. Only wish we were staying longer, but we will definitly try and visit again! Mr and Mrs Johb Oliveros

Nice apartment

My family were vendors for the Historic Morganton Festival. this home was lovely, and just as described. The owners communicated with us and made sure we had what we needed. They even had homemade zucchini bread waiting, and waters in the refrigerator. I just wish we could have spent more time enjoying the space, but with festival hours it was impossible.

Amazing!

What a beautiful rental! The owners are wonderful people. The 'apartment' was spacious, super clean, and had all the amenities. They have an upper deck, for sharing, that is wonderful. We sat up there during a thunderstorm and it was amazing. We stayed here, on vacation, to visit our kids and grandkids who live in Hickory. It was so easy to get everywhere. It was an easy drive to Charlotte and surrounding areas as well. Valdese has some great eateries as well. The Highlands Butchery Restaurant was our favorite! Every time we come back to North Carolina, this will be our vrbo location! Thank you for such a warm welcome and beautiful apartment.
