Completely furnished, spacious home with large deck and gazebo to enjoy summer nights relaxing after a day at the beach.Open floor plan, one level. Premium bedding, linens and towels galore. Central air, 3 TV's. Supplied with 4 adult bikes, wagon and high chair if needed. Large side yard is great for playing corn hole, croquet, putting green and soccer nets and ball, all provided in garage. Many indoor games for fun evenings at large dining room table. Gas grill and firepit. Beach chairs, towels, cooler and beach umbrella. Weekly rental from Memorial Day to Labor Day, but will consider 5 days or long weekends with approval. Dogs only welcomed, please inquire on size and details. Pet fee is for 1 dog. Close to everything South Haven and surrounding towns have to offer! No stairs, great for seniors and kids! House is literally 2 mins to downtown and 5 min bike ride to beach.
Just bring your bathing suit and groceries!🏖

Great Stay!

The size of this house worked perfectly for our group of two parents, two kids, and one grandma. We made use of the yard games and beach stuff!

Great place for a family vacation

Short drive to restaurants, playgrounds, beaches, the harbor, and Bumbleberry Acres. The fire pit was great and the host had it stocked for s’mores. The house is roomy with great outdoor space.

Nice quiet setting for visitors to South Haven

Clean and well-equipped -- not one of those minimalist rental houses run by flippers for party people. Nice neighborhood, close but not too close to downtown & beaches. Has a lovely screened-in pergola for quiet summer evenings.

A great family vacation!

We stayed in this wonderful home for 10 days being joined by our children and grandchildren for a few of the days. The home perfectly fit our needs - relaxing spaces for the adults (the deck and gazebo) and plenty of play space for the little ones (an awesome yard with lots of provided activities). The home was comfortable with all of the essentials provided. Barb was the best host and was readily available to answer questions and concerns. We hope to come back again - and again!

Cute house on quiet street

Barb, our host, was great! She always replied to our questions quickly. The house was the perfect size for our family of 5. The neighborhood was quiet and a short easy drive to town or the beach. The yard had lots of room for the kids to play ball and other games. We loved sitting in the screened gazebo for coffee, cocktails and playing cards. A surprise bonus was a small covered car port where we parked our rented Golf Cart every night. Thank you Barb for sharing your Michigan home with us.

Lovely, updated, fully stocked, large yard, awesome!

Spent a long weekend with our adult kids at Barb’s house. The space was great for our large group, the beds and linens were nice, the kitchen was fully stocked with lots of dishes and tools. The screened gazebo was nice to enjoy outside without being eaten alive. The large dinning table was perfect for rowdy night games of cards and such. It was an easy pop into town or the beach. Overall an excellent value. Thanks Barb, it was a pleasure to stay at your home and we fully enjoyed ourselves. Would highly recommend.

Good place to stay

We enjoyed the location of this home as it was a quick drive to the beach and downtown. Kids l loved the bunk beds and we all enjoyed sitting in the gazebo outside!

Lovely stay!

We really enjoyed our stay in this home while on our annual trip to South Haven. The home came equipped with nearly everything we needed and was clean and comfortable. We rode our bikes into town multiple times a day - a super easy, less than 5 min ride into downtown SoHa. Very short drive to the beach (could also walk but easier to drive when you have chairs, etc.) Excellent hosts!

4th of July week

We had an amazing week in South Haven. The house was perfect for us and our 3 teens. Barb was a great communicator and made all our details super easy. We loved the king sized bed in the primary bedroom and the well appointed kitchen.

Fabulous wedding weekend!

We were in South Haven for my son’s wedding and this property perfectly met our needs. The deck and gazebo space was perfect for morning coffee and an evening glass of wine. The open living/dining room is spacious and we weren’t tripping over each other. It was close to everything we had planned for the trip which was a bonus. The neighbors were all very friendly as well. We had a great time.

Great stay!

Three bedroom and two full baths was great for all 5 of us adults! There is a full kitchen that had all the utensils, plates, and thoughtful amentities like coffee. Plenty of towels and beach towels too! Barb was so incredibly responsive to any questions we had and she was so kind! Everything you could need for a relaxing week at the beach. We would happily book again!!!

Another Wonderful Labor Day Weekend in South Haven

My wife and I have been to South Haven three times since 2020, the past two with our toddler over Labor Day Weekend. The last property we stayed in only had one bathroom and the water pressure was very poor which made cleaning up after the beach difficult. We chose this property based mainly on the extra bathroom, location, and price. The location is a short drive to the beach, town, and Meijers, but not particularly well suited for walking to the beach or town with kids. It’s on a corner lot which gives you plenty of space for kids to run around, and it’s relatively quiet aside from the occasional car revving by which frankly happens throughout all of South Haven. The house had all the amenities you need from dishes, pots/pans, coffee maker, wine glasses (the complimentary bottle of wine waiting when we arrived was a wonderful touch), tons of ice blocks, and tons of beach towels. Bathrooms were great with the only negative being the shower in the Master Bedroom was very small, like 1 person small. Wasn’t really an issue for us, but there is a 2nd bathroom with a typical tub/shower combo. We did not use the large Master tub so can’t speak to that. Did multiple loads of laundry quickly and easily and enjoyed some of the board games included in the buffet table. This property was well worth the ~$280 a night and would be even better split across two couples or two small families which it could easily accommodate. We would definitely consider staying here again.

Perfect Family Retreat

This house was perfect for our family (3 kids, 3 to 8 YO) plus grandma, grandpa and the dog to come along! It had everything we needed! On a quiet street, the gazebo with the solar lights was great to enjoy went to bed each night, the smart TV gave them cartoons to watch when it rained, and it was nice and close to the beach! We would 100% consider using this house the next time we travel to South Haven.

Clean home. Huge yard. Played lots of games outside (that the property supplied) Great location.. 15 minute walk to the beach or down town. Property manager or owner was very fast answering back questions we had.. we would definitely rent this property again.

Perfect for our needs and better than pictures indicate!

We travelled with our dog, 12 year-old son, and my wife's father. The yard is huge and our dog absolutely loved it. I enjoyed the screened-in gazebo, which is awesome, though everyone else mostly hung out inside. The living room and main bedroom are much larger than the pictures indicate. My son loved the bunk bed. Overall the property is very nice and clean; pictures do not do it justice. Owners were quick with responding and very chill--which was fantastic. Location is quiet and only a couple minutes from everything. Beds and furniture are comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed the booking and would stay here again. Highly recommend!

Great house in a quiet neighborhood close to everything

Loved the house! It was well stocked with anything we could have needed. Although we didn't use anything, we had access to 4 bikes and outdoor/beach chairs and coolers in the garage. The house was super clean. We enjoyed hanging out on the deck and inside the bug free gazebo in the evenings. We had a great vacation. loved South Haven. we will be back

Awesome Place

Very nice and spacious house. The owner was very responsive to an issue we had. It was taken care immediately. Well decorated. We had a very relaxing 3 day weekend. Enjoyed the deck and gazebo. Would definitely recommend to friends and family. I would stay there again.

Clean and Close to South Haven & beaches

We came to visit family in Michigan all the way from CT. The listing was as described. The living and kitchen were bigger then expected. Very clean. We walked in to find a bottle of wine and after a long drive with kids it made me so happy! What an extra touch. Although it’s in walking/biking distance to downtown South Haven and beaches, we drove and it was easy to navigate and park during the week. I locked us out of the house the second day and Barbara was quick to respond and help me resolve the situation. Thank you Barbara and Paul for renting your great house to us, it was an awesome first experience on Lake Michigan.

We started going to South Haven about 15 years ago and fell in love with this retro nostalgic beach town. It keeps getting better each year. We finally decided to create a home where families and friends could come to enjoy what we enjoy, so we create a rental that has everything we expect!

It is very close to downtown. Downtown is Center and Pheonix, we are Center and Humphrey, so you can retreat back to a quite haven. 2 mins to downtown and 5 mins to the most popular beach and kids' corner activity park.
