Experience a comfortable and convenient stay in this second floor 1-bedroom studio located along the Coconut Coast. This unit is perfect for guests who are looking to explore the beautiful island of Kauai. The location is extremely convenient for getting around with grocery stores, restaurants, and shops all within walking distance. It is centrally located and only 30 mins away from the north and south side of the island. This unit has a comfortable King-sized bed and full sized bathroom along with AC!

You can lounge by the swimming pool or walk along the beach which is just steps away from the property. At Kauai Kailani, you will find yourself right at home. BBQ Grills, Meeting/Recreation Room, Ping Pong Table, and Books are provided here for ease of access and your convenience.

The location is extremely easy for getting around the whole island. You can access multiple beaches, shops, numerous restaurants/food trucks, and not to mention having a Safeway right across the street.

Another wonderful stay at Kauai Kailani

This was my 4th time on the property, 3rd time booking through this host, and 1st time in this particular unit. The AC was helpful to cool the room when fans and windows weren’t sufficient. I was pleasantly surprised to see that there were a handful of dishes and silverware. The room seemed larger to me in person than in the images; I was very comfortable and happy with it. There is nothing like watching the sunrise on the beach right in front of the property. The location is perfect with easy access to Kapaa Town and Lihue, and being directly across the street from a grocery store, coffee shop, and restaurant. I continue to recommend this property to anyone I know traveling to Kauai and will definitely be back!

Great location and Value

We had a great time staying here. The location was perfect being steps away from the beach. It was also close to shops and bars. There is a resident monk seal that sleeps on the beach. We named him Jerry. He may look dead but he's just a deep sleeper

Comfortable, walkable!

We stayed for here in Kapa’a for a few days. Honestly, I wish we wouldn’t stayed here to e entire time. It was clean and everything we needed was provided. It’s right on the beach and is walkable to some great restaurants. We especially enjoyed Lemongrass across the street. Highly recommend!

Great location for a motel room

We arrived hours before a big storm that cancelled flights into Kauai. We had zero complications and we know others in our area lost internet service, power or water. So we felt lucky. My husband is short and elderly with loss of leg strength so the higher than normal bed height was a small challenge. It was a clean and cute motel room with bathroom, mini-microwave and mini-fridge. 175 for cleaning fee is high given the size and market.

Great Spot

We really enjoyed our stay here! It was in a great location being right on the beach as well as in town for walking to restaurants and stores. David was great with providing instructions as well as responding to messages.

Very nice, super clean

Way cleaner than a hotel. Very functional and comfortable. The walls are thin but luckily everyone else at the complex was pretty quiet. Starbucks across the street opens at 5am!

Beautiful location

This location was amazing! Right on the beach and walking distance to many restaurants with a grocery store right across the street! Great for those who tend to be out and about during the day and looking for a clean convenient place. I loved watching the sun rise on the beach with a cup of coffee every morning!

Excellent Stay

There was a slight hiccup due to my own fault but the management, Dave, went above and beyond to accommodate my husband and I during our anniversary trip to Kauai. We absolutely will be recommending any rental properties owned by Dave and his family. We are already planning out our trip next year!

Amazing stay!

We loved this stay. Kapa’a is the PERFECT location in our opinion and this stay allowed us to have the best of all worlds. Close to downtown Kapa’a, across from Safeway and Wailua shave ice, ample parking available in the adjacent resort for us. Also has beach access which was perfect but I will say this beach was small and rocky but great for morning walks and sunrises. My finance and I stayed here and it was the perfect size for us. The upstairs neighbors were very loud walking around and that was unpleasant but out of the owner’s control. Only thing I would change is adding some rugs for comfort to the tile floor as it does get sandy inside but not a deal breaker.

Great stay for one bedroom

The small condo was good for what we needed. We were out from sunrise til past sunset and only needed a place to sleep and shower. This one bedroom was perfect for that and for the price. It was clean and an awesome location on the island. We drove max 1.5 hours to visit the furthest points around the island (we visited the entire island) and the Safeway was so close you could walk.

Very nice room

The room was perfect for our needs. Central on the island so nothing is too far. The communication with David was great throughout the whole process. Instructions for self check-in and check-out were clear and simple.

Overall we had a good stay. People in upstairs condo got up at 4:30am and could hear them walking around upstairs. Also person upstairs burned incense and the whole room smelled like it every night.

Beautiful and convenient place on Kaua’i

The studio is perfect for a short stay on Kaua’i! It’s right in Kapa’a which is one of the bigger cities on the island so lots of restaurant options close by. The complex is right on the beach, so it’s got the best of both worlds- quick walk to relax on the beach and easy to find food/entertainment. The studio itself is just as pictured. It was perfect for our 2 night stay on the island and I will book with David again! He’s excellent at communicating and gives great instructions for the check in and out process and parking. Couldn’t be happier!!

Room is exactly as described. Only room for improvement would be sound proofing the locked door to another unit. We could hear a loud party basically in our room at night. In addition there's a loud A/C pump in the wall behind the bed which goes off every once in a while. Other than that we really enjoyed our stay, great location. Drink your morning coffee beach front there are a couple of chairs there.

Good for what it is...

This is a pretty difficult review to write, so we're going to be the most honest and transparent possible. - The family who owns and rents this VRBO also owns and rents others in the same building. This confused us during the VRBO selection process because we saw photos from their other booking options and somehow thought we booked a room with a kitchen. - Since we specifically were looking for a VRBO with a kitchen, believing that it would have kitchen amenities, like plates, cups, silverware, fridge, stove, microwave, cooking supplies, we we were shocked to walk in and find what is essentially a very basic hotel room. - Looking back at what we booked, we realized we had never seen the photos of this room, but had seen the photos of their other room options. HOWEVER, when we look at the exact VRBO property ID number #2794488, this room is exactly what it shows! - So ultimately, we must have gotten confused in the booking process, so our warning to other travelers is to VERIFY this is the room you want. - That being said, even for what is a hotel room, this is very basic. We expected things like silverware, plates, home-like amenities to be provided when booking a VRBO. There was not even a dresser to put our things, so it was a mess with our things on the floor the whole stay. There is no daily room service like you would have in a hotel. - There is a table, but only a couple cheap plastic folding chairs, so nowhere comfortable to sit other than the bed. - They did provide a lot of fans (THANK YOU!) but there is only one window, and it doesn't face the ocean, so there is NO breeze, so the room heats up quite a bit during the day, making it very miserable and stifling hot in here. - Because Kauai is more of a sleepy island, with most things closing around 8-9, we ended up trying to come up with more things to do to avoid being in the hot uncomfortable room as much as possible. - We were happy with the location. It being very close to a Safeway was really convenient, and loved being able to watch sunrise on the beach. - Ultimately if you want a cheap accommodation, and if a hotel is available at a cheaper or similar price, I would recommend picking a hotel (you'd at least have room service) because this is essentially a very basic hotel room.

Great stay!

This place was just what I needed! It would be a good place for 1-2 guests. Great location on beach and close to stores and restaurants. It was so nice sleeping with windows open at night and listening to the ocean. Great having the elevator to second floor. Place was clean and had everything I needed. Owner was very responsive! I would recommend staying here.
