Great Family Time

Our Family had a great time at Carefree Bear Lodge. Along with our adult children we spent a week there. Fishing, swimming, the game room, hot tub, the fire pit and just hanging out on the deck, great family time for sure. The four bedrooms gave us all plenty of room to spread out. Troy was very helpful and genuine. We would highly recommend booking a stay with him.

We enjoyed our stay at this lake cabin on Table Rock Lake. The house was nice and had a beautiful setting with a nice walk down to the lake. However, there were a few things that could have been better. While the cabin appeared clean at first, some areas, such as the windowsills, could have used more attention. There were also opened condiments and leftover food in the refrigerator and freezer, which we didn’t feel was ideal. The walk down to the lake was nice, but the walk back up was much steeper than we expected. We also ended up taking out the garbage that had been left behind. Communication and responses from the host were not always as quick as we would have liked. Overall, we enjoyed our time at the lake, but a little more attention to cleaning, communication, and preparing the cabin for the next guests would have made the experience better.

We had a great family vacation at Carefree Bear Lodge! It was a nice relaxing spot to enjoy the stillness of nature and get to spend time as a family.

Perfect relaxing getaway

This was our second time staying at Carefree Bear Lodge. It is ideal for our large family with older teens and young adult children and dogs. Plenty of space to spread out with many spaces to be all together. Highlights for our kids are the hot tub, canoe/kayak/paddle board for lake time, pool table, ping pong, fusball. Highlights for parents are fire pit to cook out and have smores, huge deck for grilling and eating and letting the dogs play, fully stocked kitchen. Perfect in every way if you are looking to unwind and relax.

Memorable extended weekend with family

Beautiful site with plenty of activities to keep our group with young grandchildren entertained. We especially enjoyed evenings around the firepit for Smores and stargazing.

Great getaway

Enjoyed our stay! Kids enjoyed the paddle boards and kayaks that were provided! This property has all the extras to make packing nice and easy! Tons of life jackets to choose from. Will stay here again

Family Getaway

Beautiful surroundings and accommodations. Renting a boat for the day and enjoying the views was perfection. The house was a wonderful gathering spot for a precious time with family from afar.

Lovely get away!

Great Lake access

Couldn’t have asked for better and more private lake access. We thoroughly enjoyed paddle board and kayak. Lots of room for large group. We didn’t go into town because enjoyed the lake trip. Loved yard and bear accents.

Private with lots of recreational activities.

This house was so nice as it was private and not a chain of cabins. There was so much for young adults to do. We cooked all our meals with plenty of kitchen necessities available. Lots of sleeping space and access to the lake was amazing! Would definitely stay again.
