Enjoyed our stay at A Point to Happiness. The lake view and sunsets are spectacular.

We could not have been more thrilled with our stay! It’s one of the rare rentals that exceeded expectations. The location is spectacular- that view!! We spent a lot of time on the porches in the mornings and evenings- there are good shade options throughout the day, and of course the screen porch is available. The water was calm, no big boat activity on the branch of the lake. We had 4 adults and three teens; the two king beds were great for the adults and the teens loved the bunk room inside and the separate bunk house - what a fun option. The kitchen had everything and more that we needed, great storage. The smart tv made watching movies easy at night. Communication with the management company was fast and they were very helpful. We rented a boat for a day and a night and it was convenient to tie up to the boat dock. Would definitely stay here again!

Amazing views

The view of the lake is amazing! Big lake view, without the big lake traffic! We had a great time. The lake is out happy place and as always our time at the lake flew by!

Perfect Outdoor Space

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We took a girls trip with six retired teachers. It rained for much of our stay so to have the covered outdoor entertainment areas was a huge plus. The area down by the water was of the best of the places we have stayed. We have been coming to Lake Martin for the last five summers.. The kitchen was well stocked. The ice machine was helpful. They also had ice chest available that we used to store our drinks. We would love to return! The only complaint from any of the ladies was that the main bathroom needed updating, but that wa being picky. This location on the lake provided the absolute best view! Heather was super responsive with any questions and even came by to check on things and gave us suggestions for pla places to go.

Review

View was awesome! Enjoyed kayaking. Need flowers in 3 pots on porch instead of weeds. Dog poop in yard from neighbors dog. Saw roaches, some alive and some dead. Expensive for size of house. Enjoyed our stay overall.

The home was spacious, warm, and incredibly well-equipped — plenty of room for everyone to relax, reconnect, and celebrate together. The lake views were stunning. The outdoor area provides plenty of seating and room to visit. This was more than just a weekend away — it was a special memory for our family that we’ll never forget. Highly, highly recommend for anyone looking to celebrate something meaningful in a peaceful, beautiful setting. We can’t wait to come back!

Tip-off to summer

The property was very clean. The amount of seating for dining and lounging made it very comfortable for our group. The view was absolutely beautiful!! The dock made for easy entertainment with the kids. I appreciated the stairs in and out of the water the most! This was perfect and safe for entering and exiting the lake. The only suggestion I’d have is replacing grates on the grill, as some are chipping. We were able to work around that with some foil so overall didn't end up being that big of a deal.

Reviewer Comments: Sometimes you hate to leave a great review because you want to keep your discovery a secret. 😊 I love the peacefulness of the lake but other rentals were not close enough to the water or the views were blocked. Well, I have found the perfect views!! There are so many places to sit and enjoy the views from anywhere you choose. Nice kitchen and living area. Close enough to stores and someplace to go out for a bite if you can tear yourself away. Easy access and good roads. A . Can't wait for my next visit to A Point To Happiness!

A Point of Happiness

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house has a gorgeous view of the lake. We also liked the fact that we were out of the heavy boat traffic on Lake Martin, but still had plenty of room to ski and paddle board.

That view is everything!

We had a great time! The property was well maintained. There were plenty of spaces to relax and enjoy the gorgeous view. The neighbors were nice. The kitchen was fully stocked with anything we needed! The beds were comfy. Ample parking and easy to find. Excellent location. Big water view with low boat traffic. Enjoyed our stay!
