Good stay in northern Miami

Would stay here again property was nice host was very quick to respond with questions. Beds are comfy and rooms are well sized. The living area is also more spacious than the pictures make it seem.

Convenient

Property was as pictured, in a quiet area, and easily accessible. The condo is on the second floor with only stair access. My only complaint would be the beds are practically on the floor, and the mattresses aren’t comfortable. The host had wonderful communication. I would visit this property again if the beds were improved.

Judith was very respectful and responsive. I had a lot of questions and she was just a txt and phone call away. I will definitely book this unit next time I’m in Miami.

The house was nice pictures were accurate had a issue with flies the first night but the host got it fixed overall it was a good stay

Horrible experience

We arrived to find the property had not been cleaned. There was garbage and food everywhere in the apartment. The fridge had old food in it as well. We had to wait three hours for the property to be cleaned. I requested a refund for those three hours; we'll see if I will receive it. The property does not sleep 6. There are two beds (almost at ground level) and a small couch. For older folks, beware that the property is on the second floor. The bathroom doors do not close completely.

Good location & nice apartment

Overall, we enjoyed this 2 bdrm, 2 bath unit with enclosed balcony. The host and her associate Eli were very helpful in working out any kinks we had. The apt was clean & stocked adequately with toiletries to begin. We could have used a kettle to boil water for tea a & more closed containers for leftovers & a sheet pan or foil pans for cooking or reheating. Also, the bdrms could have used a full length mirror on the wall or the back of the bathroom door. Our main concern was what we felt was a misrepresentation of the pool. The pool is approx a block away, very easy walk to get to, a beautiful outdoor COMMUNITY pool, such as a YMCA pool, not a pvt pool for the apt complex. The community pool has very restricted hours. Open swim was daily from 1-4:30 pm. The pool is CLOSED Saturday & Sunday. The cost daily is adults 18+ $13, children 17 & under $12.50 and seniors 55+ $2.50. If you’re not a beach person, then be prepared to fill your day around these pool hours. Otherwise, this apt and hosts were a pleasure to deal with.

would stay again...BUT....

We enjoyed our stay and it was close to everywhere we wanted to go. parking was close. home was modern and clean with all the amenities. bathrooms were well stocked with items you may need and forgot. We were all over 60 going on a cruise after our visit to Miami so it was a surprise that there were stairs. The pool is not on the property, not far, but not right out the door. the only way we would stay at this property again is if the beds were put on a bed frames and not on floor, and something other than a plastic wrap on the mattresses. i know you want to protect your mattresses, but you must find a way for your customers to rest well. being over 60 and your knees above your butt when sitting on the bed is difficult to get up.when the mattresses are sittingf on the floor. also please note that the location on vrbo is not pointing to the correct address when looking for directions. we had to put in the address to our gps, hence why i had problems finding the home in the dark,. We loved the patio and as i said before place was clean and orderly. we loved the app for the lock once we got used to it.

Okay Property, Could Use Better Management

Negative notes… We were excited to stay here especially after seeing the photos of the pool which we assumed was part of the community. It’s not, it’s a block or so down from the unit. Communication with the host was less than ideal and often took 8+ hours to hear back. When checking in I did not receive check in instructions until nearly 2am after arriving from our flight. Upon arrival the unit was mostly clean but the floors were quite messy and you could tell there wasn’t true attention to detail when cleaning. It was what many people call landlord special so do know that there is peeling paint in places and some areas are not completely finished. We did have an ongoing issue with the hot water turning itself off and the shower and sink in the main bathrooms drained incredibly slow. My husband did have to clean the drain in the shower to get it to drain water. The bathroom also does not have a fan and after a hot shower the ceiling would drip dirty condensation water which was really gross. It made it difficult to be able to get ready in the bathroom after showering because the ceiling would drip on you. Positive notes… The unit is in a decent location, close to Aventura and North Beach and easy access to the freeway. There is a Walmart and Publix close by which is convenient as well. Neighbors were quiet and the back porch was screened in which made a nice place to have coffee. The unit did have all the necessities stocked which was convenient. There was no wifi access shared with us which sucked. The TV in the main bedroom didn’t work at all which was also frustrating. There was mold on the ceiling in the bathroom and in the kitchen so keep that in mind. All in all after our 10 day stay I would rate the property 2.5/5 stars.

Awesome Place

I really can say Ms. Judith was very nice and informative. Place was a great stay. Place was clean and beautiful. I will say i can recommend anyone here. If i was to go back to Miami i will choose Ms. Judith's place all over again.
