"Smoky Mountain Mist" is a custom built tiny home log cabin with beautiful views of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Screened porch with Swing, Fire Pit (we provide the firewood). Only one mile from downtown Bryson City and the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad. Near Cherokee, Nantahala Outdoor Center, Oconoluftee & Deep Creek Park entrances to the Great Smoky Mountains. So many activities nearby; fly fishing, mountain bike trail riding, hiking, horseback riding, waterfall hikes, kayaking, paddle boarding, white water rafting, zip lining, sight seeing, casino @ Cherokee, Fontana Damn, The Tail of the Dragon, The Road to Nowhere, and so much more.

Screened front porch including a lovely porch swing, wood throughout and beautiful views. Fully equipped kitchen including coffee pot, slow cooker, blender, hand mixer and all utensils you may need. Your stay includes all linens, starter toiletries, coffee, water, snacks, paper towel, olive oil, salt & pepper, dish washing necessities and toilet paper.

There is a fire pit and chairs adjacent to the cabin, please do not burn outside the fire pit. We provide firewood and will start the fire for you if you so desire. Additional firewood is available complimentary and is self serve in the wood shed with the water wheel at the bottom of the hill at our home. Observe all fire safety precautions, there is a hose at the back of the cabin, please be ready to extinguish your fire. DO not burn during high wind situations. When in doubt, please ask.

Complimentary WiFi is included! Both TV's are ready for streaming. Roku ready TV in bedroom and ROKU streaming device installed in living room.

The cabin was super cozy and in such a beautiful spot. We loved the view of the mountains. The directions were in depth and easy to follow and if we had any questions they were very quick to reply which was especially helpful. They gave us everything we could need in the cabin and even left a few special treats for us. The service went above and beyond. I couldn’t imagine us staying anywhere else. We will be back!

We had an amazing time at this cabin! This was the cleanest cabin we have ever stayed at and we have been coming to the smoky mountains every fall for 15 years now! It was fully stocked with everything we could possibly need! We usually are pretty disappointed with our cabin rentals, half of the time they don’t even have hand soap. They even stocked the cabin with a s’mores station and a basket of snacks! The host was also super helpful and kind! They went above and beyond to make sure we were safe during a winter storm! We will 100% be coming back to this cabin!

Our tiny house was well supplied with everything we needed. Cozy and clean and close to the train station by car. We loved the snacks left for us on our arrival and between adventures. Louise was friendly and helpful.

It's like new. It's so clean and beautifully decorated. You can see mountains just sitting in the swing on the screened in porch. It says tiny house, but it's way bigger than a motel room. It has a living room, galley kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom. What else could you ask for? It's beautiful!

Wonderful Tiny Home

Things I loved: so very clean. Loved the smell of the linens! Loved the ice maker with filtered water! We used it every day! Porch was wonderful! Tv app to sign us in & out. Comfortable bed with night stands for a sleep machine.. everything needed in a well stocked kitchen, coffee kruig maker, snacks on the counter were nice touch! Loved the porch swing too. The cabin was very comfortable! Thanks for sharing

Great Cabin!

Cute tiny cabin. Just right for us. Very clean and attentive hosts! We will be planning several trips back for local activities. The train on the other route and the rails used for riding the pieer asstied bicycle carts!!

Perfect couple’s getaway

We had such a wonderful stay at Smoky Mountain Mist! The cabin itself was perfect for a cozy getaway, but what really made the experience special were the amazing hosts. They were so kind, thoughtful, and welcoming, making sure we had everything we needed for a great stay.The location is also fantastic—so close to so many great restaurants and attractions. It was the perfect base for exploring the area, and we loved being able to enjoy the beauty of the Smoky Mountains while having all the conveniences nearby.We truly had a great time, and we can’t wait to visit again! The property was cozy, clean and quiet. I would recommend bringing your own breakfasts as the town choices are limited. We enjoyed our stay! It was quiet and relaxing in the evenings and mornings!

Perfect location without the price tag

Perfect for a family of 4 spending most of their time exploring. The cabin was clean, cozy, and spacious enough for 2 adults with kids 7 and 9. Very close to NOC without the paying expensive price tag for logging. Our nights were spent playing games and making smores with our complimentary firewood.

Hidden yet convenient

Just a couple miles from the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad, this tiny house cabin EXCEEDED our expectations. If ever in this area again, will definitely book this cabin. It was very secluded. Really enjoyed the screen porch.

A Great Weekend

The cabin was well-supplied with amenities, it was clean and comfortable. The location lent itself to little field trips to neighboring points of interest.

We are Rick & Louise Deck, and this is our retirement. :) We bought the property in 2019 and are currently, rather still restoring the 1910 farmhouse at the bottom of the hill. We knew when we first purchased that we wanted to put up a couple cabins for short term vacation rentals. We didn't buy an existing residential use and change it to vacation, the situation here for locals is dire, and we didn't want to be part of the problem.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

Uniquely ours is that we are so close to Bryson City and all the wonderful attractions it offers, but have views like you're much further out of town. The driveway up is paved so incredibly easy access. Many vacation cabins in the area required 4 wheel drive. Easy to find, easy to access and easy to enjoy!
