Welcome to this newly renovated 3 Bedroom, 2 Bathroom Ski In/Ski Out Retreat with beautiful mountain views located at The Summit at Silvercreek. Located in Granby Ranch, this unit is steps away from the Kicking Horse Lodge Lift and located near the base of the mountain and main lodge located at Granby Ranch. Granby Ranch offers multiple ski trails, ski rentals and schools for all ages allowing for a perfect family vacation. The Main Lodge offers restaurants, bars and rentals for convenience year-round. In addition to skiing, Granby Ranch offers activities year-round, including but not limited to mountain biking, hiking trails, golfing and fishing. Additional nearby ski slopes include Winter Park and Mary Jane. Our condo is also a short drive to amazing lakes, springs, horseback riding, rafting and tubing. This beautiful condo features amenities like a fully equipped kitchen and access to community perks like a heated pool, sauna and fitness center.

Interior: This large 1071 sq foot 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom condo on the 2nd floor has a spacious plan with two bedrooms/two bathrooms located on the main floor of the unit with a third bedroom located in the loft. Our deck provides beautiful mountain views. Kitchen boasts granite, wood cabinets and stainless steel appliances, which includes a full stove, refrigerator and dishwasher.

Great place. Very clean and nicely decorated. Beds were very comfortable and we loved the location. Minor problem with the door, but owners were very responsive. Definitely would stay again.

Nice place to stay and inside was very clean and nice, my only complaint is that it was very complicated to find in the dark late at night! If you’re not familiar with CO, it’s hard to find an exact address for the building and good sinage, so we spent about an hour driving around trying to find our actual condo to check in to at midnight, because we had a late flight. So being more prepared on where exactly you are going and staying is important. Also, it was confusing to find the pool, as the typical pool house was closed so I had to ask around to figure out how to access the pool. Once we got access, the pool was beautiful.

Family Friendly

Nice property that was family friendly for both adults and children. After a few hiccups with maintenance issues the rest of the stay went off without a hitch. Great location for lots of family fun for the week.

Ski friendly

This place is ~100 yards to the Kicking Horse lift at Granby Ranch. Easy to walk with your skis and hop right on, once you have your lift tickets. This was a nice spot to crash after a full day of skiing for two adults and three teens.

Loved the location and views, and it's truly right next to a ski lift. A little dated, but clean and comfortable. And lots of 'house rules' that made it feel a little less relaxing.

Great place!

It was great! After our other reservation was cancelled due to the property being sold, we were lucky this property was available on short notice. It was well represented on the website and was super convenient to local ski areas. I had a momentary freak out moment since I had to work remote a day during our stay when the WiFi password didn't work, but I got a quick response from the owners to let us know of the typo on the instructions given. Would stay there again!

Great Location

This property worked great for us and our golf outing. The location was perfect. As vacationers that use VRBO many times, we usually see a few minor flaws at each property, but they are so easy to overcome. We just notify the owners and keep going. This property was well worth it over the tiny issues that were there. I would easily recommend this property to any travelers to this area. Thank you to the owners for letting us use this condo for our stay.

Perfect mountain getaway! Can't beat the views!

This condo is perfect for a getaway. We had a wedding to attend in Grand Lake and stayed here for a weekend in September. The condo was comfortable and roomy, and the location was stunning, as well as the views from the condo. It's conveniently located near City Market and the town of Granby, yet tucked away in a hidden valley jst below Silver Creek ski area. Coming here in the fall was a treat! The weather was beautiful - - blue skies and crisp fall air. The owner Jeff was super responsive and provided a ton of helpful info in the welcome packet he sent in the mail immediately after we made our reservation. We came up with two small children and they loved the condo, too. It's a great layout, but beware the twisty stairwell to the loft. (Though it wasn't an issue for our 2 and 3 yo.) Lots of coffee filters and a coffee maker in the kitchen, but bring your own coffee! You'll need to bring your own condiments, too, including salt and pepper, if you plan on cooking, which we did. The kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, utensils, and everything you need to cook. (Bring your own cooking spray, too!) A great experience. We would definitely come back. The condo is beautiful, and you can't beat the views!!

Disappointed

The temperature inside the condo was under 60 degrees when we got there and it took almost 24 hours for it to warm up to 72. The first night we went to bed in several layers because it was so cold, even though we had been there for six hours with the thermostat turned up to 80. The hot tub should not even be included in the description except to say that it makes the master bedroom almost impossible to move around in. We filled it the morning of our second day and let it run until we were done skiing at 4:00 and it was still no warmer than room temperature. Not to mention, there was a ton of hair in it. Gross! Since the hot tub didn’t work we took the advice given in the renter’s paperwork and tried the Hot Sulphur Springs Spa twenty minutes away. That was also a massive disappointment as the pools were only the temperature of a luke warm bath and the facilities were completely dilapidated. We were so irritated the first night that we tried to book something else and were willing to repack everything we had just unpacked. Unfortunately there was nothing else available. The fact that it was a ski in/ski out was the only redeeming quality.

Dave was fantastic! The condo had everything we needed. A bit strange that the resort was so empty being the week after Labor Day. I’ll remember that and come again for the solitude.

Thanksgiving Getaway

We had a great time staying at this location! There were a couple minor maintenance issues that were promptly resolved by the owner and communication with them was excellent! It was the perfect snowy getaway! We did not ski but it was right by the slopes on the resort!

Quick anniversary trip

We were very happy with our stay. It was just two of us but we loved having options for which room and bed we wanted to sleep in. The view of the mountains is gorgeous. The water pressure in the showers is excellent. It is kind of in the middle of nowhere, which we liked. Granby itself had a few places to eat and some stores. But some great towns just north and south with lots more options. We didn’t use the kitchen or any other amenities with the property as we spent most of our days out hiking and exploring. If you have the time and don’t mind driving get the timed entry and do trail ridge road from grand lake! We did contact the owner during our stay and it was later in the evening and they got back to us quickly! We would for sure stay here again!!

Granby Summit Stay July 2024

Very nice area, great area and cute and cozy,clean place to stay!!! Loved it !! Nice cool breeze blowing in through the windows in the evening and very quiet at night…Close to City Market and gas station and Rocky Mountain National Park and Grand Lake and beautiful scenery all around. Our family had such a great time over the July 3-7 week!!! Thanks to the owners for letting us stay in such a great place!!!

We really enjoyed our stay.

Such a great experience! We enjoyed being able to walk to the ski lifts. The beds were very comfortable and I love that they provided plenty of amenities for a family of 6 for 5 days. (I always bring extra tp, trash bags etc. since they usually don’t provide enough.) This condo had more than enough and that is a first! Also, very quick response from the homeowner when we had a few questions. I would definitely stay here again!

Great location, clean condo, helpful hosts

We stayed here for a family vacation with children. The location was great. My daughter accidentally left her stuffed animal that she bought on vacation, and the hosts were kind enough to mail it back to us. We would definitely stay again.
