WOW! Absolutely fantastic.

We spent eight glorious days at the apartment and found it difficult to leave. Everything was excellent with great attention to detail and all five star rating. The photos, whilst an accurate representation, do not really do it justice. It felt more spacious than it looked and was very comfortable for four adults. The cosy tv gallery and the balcony were great additional spaces to sit and relax and to enjoy the glorious views of the lake and mountains. The whole area is unbelievably beautiful.Communication with and information from Katja was excellent from start to finish.We have experienced countless self catering holidays, the majority of which were excellent, but this apartment with its location is undoubtably the best.

Nice apartment, supportive property manager

Very nice, spacious apartment. Property manager is attentive ad helpful. Location is far up in the hills above Interlaken, so if you do not have a car and must take bus with luggage and groceries, this location is challenging.

Superb Apartment

What a beautiful place to stay. The views across the lake to the mountains are spectacular, missing it already. The apartment was very well equipped with everything we needed. Beds were comfortable and everything was exceptionally clean. We would love to return and are already thinking about a return trip. definately one of the best places we have stayed in.

Awesome apartment

We loved the apartment - better than home away from home, with an outstanding view. On the bus line down to Interlaken -approx 20 min ride, 10-15 min walk slightly uphill to the apartment from the bus stop. Fully stocked kitchen. Very responsive host.

Amazing views!!!

This apartment is wonderful! There was plenty of room for our family of 6. This place has the most breathtaking views, better than most places we visited in Switzerland! We saw a local caribou outside the property every other night. Bus stop is very close and we were provided with bus passes which was very helpful!

Absolutely fabulous!

Please just book your stay here! Katja is a wonderful host who is very responsive and helpful! She even recommended hikes for our family of five (2 adults & 3 teens). The most surprisingly part was her kindness in providing a bottle of wine and chocolates. The scenery from this apartment is breathtakingly beautiful. The area is quiet and and it was so hard to leave! Thank you so much for our relaxing stay. If we ever return to Switzerland, we will definitely be reaching out to Katja again! This is definitely beyond a 5 star! Now go, book this place as you won’t regret it 😃

Wonderful

The apartment was more than we had expected. The views are wonderful and we felt immediately at home. It is well equipped and clearly loved. Katja, the owner, was always very helpful and provided all the answers we needed when we had questions. We spent two full weeks exploring the region and completed some wonderful walks. I would not hesitate to recommend this property to anyone wishing to use it as a base for exploring the region or to just to enjoy the view.

Beatenberg Beauty!

We absolutely loved our beautiful condo high above Interlaken--it was perfect for nearly week stay hiking in the Jungfrau region. This place is even more lovely than the photos can depict--especially the majestic views overlooking lake Thun, and to the left glimpses of the snow covered alps. Katja is a fabulous host and the accommodations from bed linens to fully stocked kitchen were excellent. Although we had a car, we found connecting with bus (.3 mile walk) and taking trains, trams and gondolas the most practical way to get around. It is an extremely quiet and peaceful place--and even comes with local walks/hiking trails right above the condo--including the ever present pleasant ringing of cow bells. If you are looking for a more immersive experience of a Swiss stay in the country, you simply cannot go wrong with Katja's gorgeous place!

Swiss Paradise

We loved our stay at this beautiful property. The view of the lake from the balcony is spectacular and is much better than shown in the description. Everything is well planned for guests comfort, we found everything we needed. I can't thank enough Katja for providing exceptional pillows! I felt in heaven every night! She also welcomed us with cute flower arrangements throughout the apartment and complimentary bottle of wine and swiss chocolates. I would definitely stay there again but next time i would rent a car. The walk from bus station is uphill and takes some work to bring home groceries. My daughter was also delighted to find a football field across the street. Apartment is on second floor but the building has an elevator. All appliances were in working order. My only regret was that i booked only 9 nights. Thank you, Katja, for letting us enjoy your beautiful place!

Idillic stay in the mountains

Our group had a wonderful time in a beautiful apartment while in Switzerland. It was clean, well equipped, and came with stunning views that we couldn't get enough of. The soft sounds of tinkling cow bells was the cherry on top. The apartment is tucked onto the mountainside and therefore not by convenience/grocery stores, so plan ahead. There are several near the bus station in Interlaken to visit. We chose to save on a rental car and just use public transportation which was simple to use; though I do recommend taking pictures of the schedule as Google's schedule is not always 100% accurate depending on the time of year. There is a 7 minute walk up a hill to the apartment from the bus stop but we are all able bodied and did not have issues with this. Along the walk, stop by the house selling cheese and meat from the small outdoor fridge and say hello to the few horses and goats on the opposite side. If we could live there, we would. We made fantastic memories and hope you do as well!

Most amazing space and location

We could not have asked for a better place to stay while in Switzerland! The apartment is beautiful and modern. It is very spacious. My partner and I were working remotely for part of the week and it was a comfortable place to do so. The kitchen was well equipped, even including everything you need for fondue and raclette dinners. The views from the balcony are even more stunning than captured in the online photos - full mountain range, rolling hills and lakes fully visible on clear days. We enjoyed the short drive up the mountain from Interlaken to get to the apartment, with stunning views and quaint swiss chalets and restaurants along the hills. Beatenberg is a quieter town - sitting on the balcony you hear the cow bells ringing, which is so lovely. We also loved the nearby farm fridges where we could buy fresh cheese, etc. It was a great central location to explore nearby areas in Switzerland, such as Grindewald, Lauterbrunnen. There is also lots to do in and around Interlaken. We stayed for 8 days and it was never a dull moment! We had a car which made getting around easy, but there seemed to be good bus service from beatenberg as well. The host was very easy to communicate with and quick to respond. The guest cards provided helped save on a couple excursions. We would definitely stay here again!

Just what we needed

My husband, myself, and our two sons (age 16 and 20) stayed here for 5 nights while we explored the Interlaken area. The condo was perfect for our needs! It was so clean and had beautiful furnishings. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was fully stocked with dishes, pots, pans, etc. We had room to spread out and relax each night after full days of sightseeing and hiking. We sat on the balcony enjoying the amazing view of Lake Thun in the quiet mornings and the beautiful sky as the sun set beyond the mountains in the evenings. Listening to the cowbells was so cool too. We used the washer/dryer in the basement to do laundry midway through our trip. We had some of the best red curry at Hotel Regina just down the road from the condo. The condo is an additional 10 minute drive past Interlaken, but we had a rental car so that wasn't an issue for us. We actually enjoyed staying in a bigger place instead of a cramped hotel outside of the busy Interlaken area. The stairs to the 2nd floor loft where the 3rd bedroom and 1/2 bath are located are quite steep so if you are traveling with elderly adults or young children, that may not be an ideal set up for them. My 20 yr old son had no problem staying up there. There are two other bedrooms and a full bath downstairs. Katja (owner) was great to work with. She answered my questions quickly and helped make our stay enjoyable. I would not hesitate to book this condo again.

Family Vacation in Switzerland

This was the perfect place for our family vacation. The place was very clean, had everything that was needed, and plenty of room. The views were beautiful. Very easy to get to the bus. We are planning to return to Switzerland and I am hoping this property is available to book again.

More than we could imagine

The apartment is amazing, extremely well equipped. No detail is missing. Great location overlooking a meadow, down to the Lake Thun and across the the amazing Alps. Onsite parking and close to the bus stop. Quiet location, with the only sound being the cow bells (although there were no bells at night) Pictures don't do this place justice and the pics are pretty great. Centrally located for us to to be able to explore Interlaken, and many villages in the Alps. Our only regret was that we had to leave. Do yourself a favor and book your next stay here.

Tolle Wohnung mit traumhaftem Ausblick

Die Wohnung ist hervorragend konzipiert und bis ins kleinste Detail liebevoll und sorgsam eingerichtet. Die Lage ermöglicht einen sensationellen Ausblick, so dass die gut 11 Minuten bergaufwärts sich voll lohnen. Die Kommunikation mit der Gastgeberin war nett und hilfreich. Abolute Empfehlung.

AMAZING property!

Switzerland is a country right out of a fairytale and this property made our stay that much more amazing. The view of Interlaken while you’re having coffee in the morning or having dinner in the evening was truly breathtaking. A must stay if you’re there for the scenery. Centrally located in the middle of the country, very easy to get around if you’re visiting multiple cities in one visit. If I were to visit again, I would book this property every time. The owners made it very welcoming as soon as you walked in with a very detailed welcoming package and recommendations. And we accidentally left and item behind, and they mailed it to us immediately (with reimbursement of course). Again, a must stay!

Schöne, moderne Wohnung mit See- und Bergsicht

Sehr gut ausgestattete, helle, moderne Wohnung an traumhafter Lage hoch über dem Thunersee. Die Vermieter sind sehr aufmerksam und sorgen für eine äusserst einladende Atmosphäre. Die Wohnung ist sowohl mit Auto als auch mit ÖV bestens erreichbar.

Alles perfekt!

Wohnung ist genau wie beschrieben. Es fehlt an nichts und alles ist sehr gepflegt. Die Vermieterin Katja Gafner hat immer direkt geantwortet bei Fragen. Ruhige Lage und mit dem Auto ist man in 15 Minuten in Interlaken. Vom Balkon hat man einen tollen Ausblick auf See und Berge.
