I take my stepkids up to Breck each winter and this was a perfect spot for the family. Thank you for hosting us.

Summer getaway

Lovely Place

We loved our stay here!!! Super close to Breck where there's incredible skiing. The home itself is very cozy and has everything you may need! The hot tub was awesome as well! I would definitely stay here again!

Great location and plenty of room for all!

We enjoyed the stay at the property very much. It was close enough to Breck while it was also just enough removed. Plenty of room for a family of 5 to enjoy. We all had a great time!

Awesome Sunnyside cabin.

We enjoyed our stay at Sunnyside Cabin. The family members recalling enjoyed the added pleasure of the hot tub after a day of skiing in beautiful Breckenridge.

Location, location, location!!!

We stayed for almost a week but wish we could’ve stayed longer! This was the perfect place for us to relax after a long day of skiing. Cozy fireplace and comfy couches made our evenings so relaxing, not to mention the amazing hot tub. Dan was very helpful and we can’t wait to come back!!

Great place just outside of town

Great cozy little place just outside of town. I prefer places like this that have everything you need and yet with the quiet being out of town affords while still being close. I'd recommend this for families.

Great place in a great spot

Our family, 3 kids and 4 adults, spent a week at 12 Sunnyslope. The home had everything we needed and more. Home has a great layout, we all had plenty of space. Got a lot of snow so didn't get a chance explore the property much but made use of the hot tub. Would definitely stay there again on our next trip to Colorado.

Family Vacation

This property was so nice! Beds were so comfortable, bedding kept us warm. Restrooms have timed heaters, which for us was a big bonus. We are from Texas and adjusting to climate and altitude was a challenge, but their amenities made it a comfortable stay. The scenery was beautiful, and it was close to town as well, where there were plenty of places to eat, and oxygen bar to help us cope with the altitude sickness. The hot tub was also awesome. Definitely made wonderful memories there.

Cabin in the woods

We took a snow vacation at this cabin and it was absolutely wonderful. Very close to downtown Breckenridge and to the slopes. Dan was very attentive if we had questions. The beds were great and I really enjoyed the view. Didn’t get to use the hot tub, but that was on me. I recommend this cabin in the woods to families or friends.

Communicative host. Two minor things quickly resolved. Clean, functional, and enjoyable. Very quiet despite being on highway 9.

Great location & Beautiful Giant Forest Lot!

We really enjoyed the early winter season at 12SunnySlope. It was real close to town, easy to find and really decked out for the winter enthusiast. The views from the property and balconies and decks are beautiful. The wood burning fireplace really gave it a lot of character. This is a real skiers paradise!

Fantastic location

The home was spacious enough for our group of seven. Its located just a short distance from town which made running errands or a quick trip downtown super easy. Also, I can't say enough about the property owners. Fantastic communication, and always helpful with any questions we had. If we ever find ourselves back in Breckenridge, we will certainly be staying at this home again.

Accurate listing…comfy beds, new appliances, etc.

A true ski cottage. Close to Breck. Located on SH 9 but did not hear any road noise once inside. Cute little trail outside the back of house that led to Hogwarts sitting area. Had no problem maneuvering our trailer with 4-wheelers. Enjoyed our stay!

Thanksgiving Memories

The house was truly enchanting, especially during the snowfall. Its charm became even more evident as the snow gracefully blanketed the surroundings. The proximity to all our desired activities and the convenient location with everything necessary made it an excellent experience. Every corner of the house exuded warmth, creating a magical atmosphere that enhanced our overall experience. It was a truly wonderful stay, and we look forward to returning to this cozy haven.

Great owners!

The house is very cozy and spacious for 4 of use and our 2 dogs. It's only 7 min drive from town. Close enough to drive in yet having a house in the wooded area was amazing! I Cannot say enough about the owner who went above and beyond to fix a situation. Communication was great. It was VERY relaxing being out of the town and soaking in a hot tub. Our 2 dogs loved it too. Definitely recommend and will stay here again.

Good for a close cabin to Breck

Plenty of space for our group of 6. Great hot tub! Kitchen was stocked with all the tools/appliances we needed for cooking in. Overall the cabin could use some updates. We were requested to use fireplace/stove for heat, but there were only 3 logs of wood so we mostly used electric heat. TV/media setup was confusing and sound didn’t work when we first turned it on.

Great Mountain Retreat- Cabin feel

My husband and I were looking to escape the Labor Day weekend madness in North Denver and wanted a nice, quaint cabin environment. This property gave us exactly that. Cozy cabin with beautiful views, access to hiking, close to downtown Breck if needed. All the amenities, a hot tub, movies, fireplace. It was exactly what we needed. Dan the host was very responsive, check in was easy. We brought the dogs and they loved exploring the hiking trail right off the back porch.

Great stay in Breck!

We had a fantastic stay at 12SunnySlope! The home has everything you need or want - well stocked kitchen, soft fluffy towels and bedding, flat screen TVs with access to premium sites, even an office area complete with a printer. There’s also a large hot tub on the wraparound deck that would be wonderful after a day on the slopes or hiking trails! We didn’t use the hot tub but hope to on our next visit. Dan is an amazing host, responsive within minutes and so helpful to our questions. We hoped to have a great vacation, but at 12SunnySlope we had an even better time than we could have dreamed! We will definitely be back!

In the woods, but just off the road

We enjoyed our stay. We wanted to be be out of town and this cabin gave us the isolation we were looking for, while being less than 15 minutes to parking lot F to go skiing. The property was what we expected in the price range. The rooms were tight with the TVs in each room, that we did not use. The stairs were steep and may keep us from coming back. Having the wood stove was great, my wife and I enjoyed getting it started to keep the cabin warm throughout the day and night.
