Casa Lourdes is a brand new house located in Santiago area of Merida, Centro. The house accommodates up to 4 guests maximum in 2 large bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms and has open concept kitchen, living and dining area. The house is full of natural light, great airflow throughout, relaxing patio by the pool and additional private patio of upper bedroom. In between main and the second floor there is a split level that is designed to be as a relaxing area or it could be used as separate private workspace.
As mentioned above house has a lot of natural light coming in the morning and even though all windows are tinted with SolarGuard film there are no extra curtains in the bedrooms so keep that in mind please. We will provide sleeping masks for the guests.
Given that house is located in the very Center of Mèrida occasional noise is to be expected at times.

Amazing House and Host

Property is in a great location. It is spacious and full of natural light, with mini-split air conditioning in all bedrooms and common areas. Having one bedroom upstairs and one down created a nice degree of privacy.Kitchen is well appointed and was perfect for our group of four. Backyard garden and pool were great for us as well.Nenad was the best host we have ever had. Communication was easy, quick and extremely helpful.Others have noted that it gets bright in the bedrooms in the morning. If you enjoy sleeping past 8:30am you might want to skip this rental, but for everyone else I strongly recommend you choose this home!

Nowhere better

What a relaxing home! It is clean and modern. It has spacious rooms with vaulted ceilings filled with natural light. There is a natural conduction of air that keeps the space cool and and airy. After visiting several other rentals in the area, we know we got the best. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking and the local markets are very close with plenty of wonderful foods. The neighborhood is safe, day and night, and we experienced no traffic noise. The host is attentive and is patient with our stupid questions. If we were to live in Merida, we would want a home just like this.

Perfect - again

Our second stay here. Same positive experience as the first time. Great house in a convenient location. Listing is accurate. Spacious accommodation with well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, and pleasant outdoor space. Walking distance to market, parks, restaurants, and attractions. Responsive, friendly host - even in the middle of the night when we locked ourselves out of the house. Everything you want in a quality rental.

Wonderful Stay

Beautiful house, it has everything one can need. Super clean and very well Maintained.The description and pictures are very accurate. Holiday in Merida

The house is beautiful and well equipped. We cooked many meals and the kitchen was wonderful. The house is located near the local neighborhood market, which we enjoyed visiting, eating and buying our food. La Lupita is a wonderful local taqueria in the market. The cleaning person came twice a week and kept everything very clean. Absolutely enjoyed our time here.

First but not the last time in Merida!

The communication was amazing! Check in was easy and the home was spotless! The location made it easy for us to walk to many parts of Centro! The home was quiet and the neighborhood very safe! I would stay here again!

Beautiful oasis in the city

This is a beautiful house, with lovely pool. The decor is comfy and contemporary. Loved the art on the walls. The housekeeper is friendly and does an excellent job and the same for the pool caretaker. The location is good. Takes about 10+ minutes to get to Calle 60 and about five more to Calle 47 where there are numerous restaurants. The neighborhood feels safe. There were a couple of things that guests should be aware of: there are no doors on the bathrooms of the bedrooms. The 30 KW for AC is skimpy, especially if you are using both bedrooms so I wouldn’t recommend this in the heat of the summer if you like AC. We live in Belize and our AC is very expensive so we certainly understand conserving. As for the noise of being in Centro, the first two weeks when music started in the evenings around 7 or 8 we could just hear the thumping loud music makes, in the living room, but the place playing it must have gotten a new sound system because our last week it was like a band was right in our living room and in the bedroom loud thumping so bring ear plugs. You will definitely need the provided eye mask as there are no curtains, which also adds to the the heat, but I understand curtains might take away from its spacious beauty. We enjoyed our stay.

Just as Pictured

100% would recommend this beautiful home. - Comfortable bed and pillows -Clean - I thought the windows not having shades would bother me, but purely enjoyed being woken up by the sun every morning. You will be fine. - Communication with host was perfect, even though he was traveling he was very responsive. - There is a lady that comes and cleans (if you stay long enough) and she does an amazing job. We were hesitant about it but it was well worth it. I wish i would have remembered to leave her a tip (i didnt get to meet her). -No complaints on location. Rented a car and always found parking - There were water left in fridge. Coffee as well. - AC/Fans and hot water works -working washer few details - lots of mosquitos by the pool - LOTS there is no door to the bathroom on the first floor. Thought it was strange but not the end of the world Really enjoyed my time here.

Better directions

Would have been nice to have had explanation how to use air conditioning. We never saw any like this before. Never saw washer and dryer until asked owner last second to last day, so did not do us any good

Unbelievably Nice Place

Neither of us had any idea as to how nice this place was. I'm an architect and the attention to detail and how everything was laid out really impressed both of us. It felt as if we were in an elaborate Tuscan Villa. A heat wave hit Merida when we were there (105-112 F.) and the AC units kept the downstairs nice and cool. The pool was especially refreshing after a day of the heat. There are plenty of places to walk to to eat and catch music. DzulBay and La Negrita were close by for entertainment and food. A few blocks away is a great area for eating and shopping. The Paseo is only a few blocks more. We did day trips to Pig Beach near Progresso, Uxmal and a few other places, including the museums. We'll definitely be back and we've already turned a few of our friends onto this place.

Amazing stay at Luxury Casa Lourdes

Could not have asked for a better stay in Merida. The listing looks exactly like the photos—very beautiful spot. The pool was a very nice touch for an afternoon dip when the temps get higher. Overall, the place is excellent; but the MVP of this is the host. He was extremely responsive, with all the questions we had, even had some wonderful suggestions for what to do and how to get around town. Definitely would love to come back to this place!

Perfect!

This is a property I hope to stay in anytime I visit Merida in the future! It has every modern convenience but a beautiful, traditional feel. My niece and I both felt immediately at home. Very convenient location and a quiet street. Walked to several locations but also Uber was quick, convenient and cheap. Loved having coffee outside by the pool in the morning and a swim in the evenings. Super comfortable beds.The entire property was immaculate and had everything we needed. The host was very responsive to any question we had. Ten out of ten stars. Absolutely loved this place!

Spring Break in Merida, Mexico

Merida is a beautiful city to visit and this property is only steps away from the entertainment and shopping area. The beautiful pictures of this VRBO are accurate, as it is as spacious and airy as it seems in the pics. Accommodations are comfortable and very clean. The kitchen is well stocked for those that want to cook. Our host was gracious to leave us delicious pan dulce upon our arrival. It was a wonderful stay. Our family highly recommends this property.

Merida Trip

The house was beautiful and well appointed. We especially enjoyed the outdoor area and pool. The house is close to the center of Merida and we were able to either walk or take Ubers everywhere. We would definitely consider renting this house again. The owner was very responsive to our needs and accommodated all our requests.

Beautiful home that considered every detail. Lots of light, perfect furnishings and outdoor space. Great area for walking with bars, cafe’s and shopping near by. 4 of us stayed and it was very comfortable. Highly recommend!

Great stay

Really enjoyed this house. Smartly designed, open and airy. Well-equipped kitchen. Layout worked well for us and readily accommodated another couple who visited for a week. Conveniently located; walking distance to market, restaurants, the central plaza, and Paseo Montejo. Meticulously maintained by the congenial housekeeper. Very responsive host who immediately addressed any concerns. Would stay here again.
