This is our Happy Place, and we would love to share it with you. Our cozy hilltop cabin is nestled in a quiet cove on Lake D'Arbonne, just off what the locals call "Big Lake", with a view of the Spillway. We have beautiful lake views from almost every room in the house. You'll want to bring your fishing gear and your favorite fishing buddy to enjoy bringing in the dock. Our screened porch is perfect for drinking your morning coffee with a view, or for an evening card game with friends. An additional outdoor patio is covered and shaded, perfect for barbecuing or relaxing outdoors in the shade. Nearby is our firepit where you can roast marshmallows with a view of the lake.
Our three bedroom cabin is thoughtfully furnished and stocked to make your getaway as comfortable as possible. From cozy throws, games and puzzles, and a fully stocked kitchen, you will find everything you need to relax and enjoy your time at the lake. We have High Speed Internet so you can stay connected and a Roku TV so you can relax and watch movies with your family.
We have one covered parking spot to keep your vehicle or boat covered from the elements. We have room for two additional boat trailers, and then a u-shaped driveway that will accommodate 3-4 cars.
Just 8 minutes from Farmerville, 10 minutes from the Marina, you will love our location. As experienced local hosts, we are always glad to tell you about our favorite places to eat and shop. We are responsive and helpful hosts who love making sure our guests have a wonderful time at the lake. Come and enjoy our happy place!

Excellent cozy getaway

Overall our stay was excellent! Couldnt ask for a better place to get away for the weekend. The host has set the place up nicely with everything we could ever need. We decided to start a yearly tradition and can't wait to return next year.

Lake Living Paradise

Beautiful cabin nestled into a picturesque Louisiana piney woods paradise on the lake. This property will not disappoint. Hosts were great and very accommodating. Excellent communication.

The cabin was very cute and cozy..we were able to do some fishing and even with the weather being chilly we had so much fun and even caught a few fish. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was very well stocked with everything you could ever need. Beautiful views of the lake were a plus,plus! I would recommend and we will be back.

What a beautiful, cozy, peaceful place to stay!

We wanted a short getaway that had beautiful lake views and was cozy and cute and this house more than fit the bill! The beds were so comfortable and we enjoyed the beautiful, peaceful lake while drinking coffee on the screened porch. The owner was so easy to work with and made it so nice for us. We will definitely come back again!

Big Lake Escape

We enjoyed our stay and felt so welcomed. The lake house was filled with all the essentials and even had a sweet treat and fun surprise for the kiddos! The view was breathtaking. We travel often to this area to visit family and we will definitely be back again!

Cozy Cabin

It was the first outting for my new family. We enjoyed every minute. The cabin was a wonderful treat, felt very homey. The dock and fishing was great as well. Very comfortable setting, and very relaxing. Definately revisit.

Highly recommend

Absolutely wonderful and relaxing! Perfect escape from the real world. My family and I enjoyed fishing, swimming, s’mores and the screened in porch where we ate all our meals! Lots of laughter and games played! Very inviting and comfortable.

Cabin on the lake

Had an amazing time! The location on the lake was perfect. It was very relaxing and we had everything we needed. My daughters and I will definitely be planning another trip back. We enjoyed some fishing off the dock, sitting on the screened in porch, and playing with the sweet yellow dog that met us when we arrived. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was stocked with all the amenities. I highly recommend this location to anyone wanting a relaxing time away on a beautiful lake.

Perfect Get-Away Cabin

We had such a relaxing time at this cabin. Had it not been 100 plus degrees outside we would have enjoyed the lake more. We caught one small catfish off the dock though, so that was a bonus. We will definitely return when the weather is not so hot and we can bring our boat. Thanks so much!

Peace & Quiet with an awesome view!

Everthing we needed was there, although we spent 90% of our time on the screened in porch 🤣 We got to watch some amazing storms pass through and listen to all the critters around us. Hanging out on the dock was great and really good for stargazing. It is extremely peaceful. We loved the little yellow stray dog, we named Lola ❤️ Good communication as well. Would definitely visit again.

The Lake House Vacation!

We don’t get to vacation very often, this was the absolute best one we’ve taken as a family! The cabin was clean, felt like home, the neighborhood was quiet, I could go on all day about how great it was. We had an open line of communication with the owners at all times, I couldn’t have spent money on a better place! We will absolutely be back soon, and I will tell everyone we come by about the lake cabin! Pictures don’t do this place any justice to how beautiful it is in the little quiet cove. Loved it!

Paradise on the lake!

You can literally feel your tired soul swell when you first sit in the rockers on the deck overlooking Lake D’Arbonne. Holli has seen to your every need. The beds are sumptuous, the kitchen stocked with everything you need…just bring the food. If you can tear yourself away from the view there’s a large screen TV, games, fishing, and a fire pit. This was just what I needed! Highly recommend this incredible cabin in the pines, right on the lake with a dock and more chairs to watch the sunset. Thank you, Holli! We’ll be back! ❤️

UTTERLY RELAXING

This listing was a jewel!! Immaculately clean. Abundantly supplied! You can tell the owners put so much thought and care into stocking the house. Everything was provided! Coffee on the porch in the morning; hearing the birds, watching the flow of the lake, so very healing! Husband and son fished right off the lakeside. Caught a few bream, a catfish, a LARGE softshell turtle, and juuuust missed an alligator gar. They were biting on worms. All in all, such a wonderful and relaxing time. Excellent choice for some quiet time!

Listing isn't accurate

The ac unit didnt cool The house. The owner lives a 50 years from the cabin which wasn't told in the bio and had her dogs out the entire time I stayed at the cabin. Any time i let my dog out to potty her dog just tried to mount mine the entire time. I got a message requesting a 100 more dollars for a dog fee after I already paid for everything. And it wasn't in the agreement. The beds aren't comfortable at all. The whole experience wasn't worth what I paid.

Perfect back to nature getaway!

My boyfriend and I rented for two nights in October for a stay with my 10 and 12 year old son and daughter. This property was so perfect for what we wanted. The lake views, the nature, the cozy cabin, ALL THE THINGS! Holli was such a sweet host from the minute we booked and was so accommodating. The place was clean and welcoming. The kitchen was fully stocked and made cooking so easy! There is a cool downstairs room for the kids where they felt like they had their own space. The beds were comfy, the pillows were soft, even the towels in the bathroom were so nice! We didn't feel like we needed to leave for anything. We got to fish and spend time with the kids, we ate breakfast on the screened porch overlooking the gorgeous lake. We roasted marshmallows on the back patio and sat by the warm fire and watched the sun go down. We felt so at home and we can't wait to visit again. The only thing I would improve was having cable or stronger internet connection, we tried to stream Netflix one night and it didn't really work. This could just be the area though and out of their control. Overall we had no complaints and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
