Lavender House invites you to relax and enjoy 2300 square feet of Spanish influenced luxury. Located in the one-of-a-kind village of Tubac, Arizona, this is where art, history, nature and golf meet. With the vibe of a European hamlet, rare to find, Tubac is the antithesis of the hurried world surrounding all of us. Tubac is a place to have fun, rejuvenate and become inspired.

Lavender House's roof deck will allow you to be stunned by the skyline at sunrise or sunset and the warmth of the sun during the day. The Santa Rita, San Cayetano and Tumacacori mountain ranges surrounding Tubac will add drama to your experience. When longing for quiet moments, you can relax on the private garden-like patio enhanced by a built in lilac tiled fire pit to enjoy in the evening hours. Much fun can be had at the lovely community pool down the way and remember the fitness center is within walking distance.

You are welcome to make yourself at home in the well-stocked gourmet kitchen which includes two ovens for baking bread or your favorite savory mac and cheese.

The interior living space includes a great room with a kiva fireplace and rustic beams; a formal dining area that seats 6 or more; and a lovely granite breakfast or cocktail counter. Keep entertained with two TVs, one in the great room and one in the office (or craft room if inclined) which also includes a printer/fax and wi-fi. The large master bedroom suite (with King bed) is private and features a bathroom with his/her sinks, spacious tub, separate shower and large walk in closet. The guest suite also includes a king sized bed with separate private bathroom. The third bathroom features a tiled shower and extends off the quiet office/sitting/craft room.

Besides enjoying the climate and nature of Tubac, you may want to dine at one of the many delightful restaurants in town, or go shopping at some of the unique shops and galleries, or play golf at the spectacular 27-hole champion course of the Tubac Golf Resort. The area also attracts people who like to hike the historical De Anza trail and watch for the over 240 bird species sited each year.

Elegant Property

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Lavender House. The inside was immaculate. The garden area is both functional and nicely decorated. We especially appreciated the pool and hot tub. Walking in the neighborhood was delightful. Everyone was friendly and waived. We felt right at home.

Lush Plush Sanctuary

Perfect get away. More than the comforts of home! We loved the decor, artwork, whimsy, and eclectic book selections. We felt so pampered. Visited Tubac art village, Park w/ Mission, Pool and Hot Tub, Restaurants. Used spiral staircase to get to rooftop, to take Milkyway Pics of the nightsky. Truly the perfect retreat!

Loved the Lavender House

The Lavender House exceeded our expectations. It was very comfortable and very spacious. We were lucky to meet the host, Christine, and she is a wonderful, friendly woman. We will definitely be back.

Lovely Lavender House

The house and property were lovely and very well maintained. It was clear that Lavender House was a family home because it was designed for comfort, extremely well stocked, and exquisitely decorated. All the appliances were in excellent working order. Christine was very responsive and answered all our inquiries in a timely manner. She made herself available to us, making sure we had an easy check in/checkout. She was kind enough to provide coffee and homemade bread for the morning which we really appreciated because our flight was delayed due to the ground stoppage. My only complaint is that we did not allow enough time at Lavender House. Next time we hope to stay longer.

A very special place in Tubac

Our family of three stayed at the Lavender house to visit family in Tubac over Christmas. The house is beautiful and spacious, and very comfortable. We especially enjoyed the gourmet kitchen (with everything you need to cook), big comfortable beds, lovely outdoor spaces, and the community (heated!) pool. The house is very close to everything the village of Tubac has to offer. The owner is caring and attentive, and easily reachable for questions. We will definitely be back.

Christmas in Tubac

My 94 year old mom, my niece and I had a wonderful stay at The Lavender House in the days leading up to Christmas. The rooms are very spacious and I loved the high ceilings! There was plenty of room to spread out. My niece, who was working remotely, enjoyed the study. We cooked almost all our meals there. Christine has lots of pots and pans which made that easy. The weather was glorious in Tubac and my mom and I played cards out on the patio. We went to a great concert at the Tubac Art Center. My niece lives in Brooklyn and particularly enjoyed the night skies from the rooftop. The pool in the community was also wonderful! We swam there in 65 degree weather because it was nicely heated. Overall, a wonderful stay!!

Tubac Thanksgiving Stay

This property in Tubac is a wonderful home away from home. We so enjoyed our stay and relaxed at this excellent property close to the village of Tubac for shopping and dining. The property owner is accessible and really cares about the comfort and happiness of guests for their stay at the property. It was such a wonderful stay for Thanksgiving, that we have booked our next stay already. Thank you.
