Beautiful villa

Beautiful villa with everything you could wish for. Very friendly owner who took care of all our needs. Sarrains and surroundings have lots of things to do and to see.

Excellent holiday!

Charming villa with excellent facilities and very helpful and caring owner. First impression of the neighbourhood wasn't too impressive, but that was a minor point as the villa was in its own very private and quiet grounds.

Dear Alan, We loved to have you and your lovely family as guests in our villa and we hope that next summer we will not have the same heat wave, drought, and water restrictions which did not help the land scapings this year. My neighbors do not have access to the free water from the canal like I did. I feel very lucky that I could water my property for free this summer. Hope to see you again in the future.

Our nearly 3-month stay at Villa Vanesse with our dogs was absolutely lovely. Astrid ensured that we were greeted with care and kindness after a very long journey, including a thorough walkthrough of her home and a starter pack of groceries. She and her local assistant were very responsive throughout our entire stay. This property is very quiet, secure, and extremely comfortable with amenities such as a clothes dryer and window screens. It has excellent proximity to a variety of supermarkets, restaurants, and the Via Venaissia bike/pedestrian route. We highly recommend this property for experiencing Provence, as it provides convenient access to Carpentras, Avignon, Aix, Luberon villages, and Marseille, but also the incredible vignerons of Vaucluse. Thank you, Astrid & friends!

Wonderful Provençal villa holiday

We stayed at Astrid’s lovely villa in Sarrians for 2 weeks with the family. Astrid was easy to contact by Email and very helpful with advice and also bought some provisions for us when we arrived. The house is beautifully furnished with care and super comfortable for a family stay. We very much loved the private and rustic feel of the villa. A lovely house to unwind. The outdoor kitchen was very popular with our teenagers. We enjoyed the pool and the alfresco dining most evenings. We visited local markets in vaison la romaine and also a local vineyard. Day trips to Crestet and Orange were memorable too. Overall an amazing family holiday. We hope to return again someday Sanjay

we rented this house last summer shocked to see, upon arrival, that the swimming pool was the size of a large jacuzzi, all facilities listed in the home description are not accurate. There seemed to be endless discrepencies, by the owne,r over what exactly the price included (apparently the studio is NOT included in the listed price.

This traveler waited 6 months before posting a negative review.The inquiry we received from this family was for 5 guests. We first gave them a quote for 3 bedrooms/3 bath. When we signed the contract they had decided to invite some guests and to rent the studio apartment also in order to have enough space for 7 guests. We provided a new quote including the studio apartment. The size of the pool is clearly indicated on the web-site. After their departure we had to file a claim with Property Damage Protection who did not pay the total amount of damage. We charged this traveler for the difference. Besides damages caused in the villa and the outdoors, 23 hours of heavy cleaning was necessary to get the villa ready.

Beautiful secluded property

The gated property is beautiful with many outdoor seating areas and nice landscaping. The pool is clean and refreshing and toys are provided! The house has 3 comfortable bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, and can easily fit 6 people. The kitchen is wonderful with a 5 burner gas stove, mixer, blender, pots & pans, 2 drawer refrigerator and small freezer. The landlady was so kind as I requested an enamel pot for winter soups and she provided it for the kitchen! The decor can be overwhelming if you are a minimalist, so we just stored a lot of knick-knacks to give our guests room for their personal items. You should not walk down the lane or into town, or let children play outside of the gated area, as an aggressive pitbull dog lives at the corner house. Sarrians has a small Sunday Market which is lovely and Intermarché and Lidl are very close for supplies. We adored the Augusta Bakery for Baguettes and pastries! The house is 30-45 minutes to the Luberon and 30 minutes to St. Remy and 10-20 minutes travel North to Côtes du Rhône and Seguret. The manager, Martine, is extremely responsive to issues of maintenance. We really loved our 8-month off-season rental and met some wonderful friends in the area!

The dog the vacationer is referencing is a very nice one-and-a-half year old Cane Corso, not a Pittbull, who lives in a fully fenced property. This dog has never been seen outside of its owner's property, I never received any complaints from other vacationers who also came with dogs, or from the neighbors. The vacationer who wrote this review owns two King Charles who wandered on the private road, and most likely provoked the Cane Corso through their excessive barking, this is what dogs do, and most importantly, there was no harm ever done nor was anyone in danger, ever.

Comfortable and lovely home!

Our family of four rented this beautiful house in Sarrians for two weeks and we had such a nice time here. The house had everything we wanted and more. So nice with AC for the hot nights, the lovely garden with heated pool, the great outdoor sitting areas. The kitchen was very well equipped and easy to use and everything was so clean. The outdoor kitchen was a nice surprise for us and we used it a lot. Astrid was a very nice host and greeted us with wine and bread and also showed us around and answered all our questions. It was great to be able to speak english with her. We made lots of trips in the area and visited both vinerys and small towns but we also stayed at home to fully enjoy all the comforts of the house.

Die Lage des Hauses ist super ruhig und schön. Die Betten sind bequem und es gibt genug Platz. Die Zeit am Pool haben wir sehr genossen. Die Gastgeberin steht mit Rat und Tat zur Seite (wenn man das möchte) und ist sehr nett. Mit ihrer freundlichen Art schafft sie eine einladende Atmosphäre. Man fühlt sich in dieser Umgebung bestens betreut und willkommen. Sarrians ist ein schöner kleiner Ort. Gerne kommen wir wieder.

Einfach eine schöne Zeit

Wir durften in dem Haus von Astrid eine herzliche Zeit verleben. Die Kinder spielten abends im Pool während wir unter Freunden den Tag bei einem guten Glas Wein ausklingen lassen konnten. Das Ambiente war wundervoll.

Schönes Haus mit Pool und großem Garten

Das sehr gut ausgestattete und saubere Haus hat einen großen, von außen nicht einsehbaren Garten und beheizbaren Pool. Die bezaubernde Vermieterin Astrid wohnt nebenan und ist sehr um das Wohl ihrer Gäste bemüht. Wir haben uns rundherum wohl gefühlt. Sarrians ist eine hübsche Kleinstadt mit guter Infrastruktur. Die Lage eignet sich gut für Ausflüge in die Umgebung.

Touralura Travels

Villa Vanesse was a beautiful villa complète with everything one would need or want. The bedrooms were very comfortable and the swimming pool offered à beautiful view from back door and patio. Our hostess was fabulous-- providing great assistance when cell phone problem arose-- travellings with us to translate at phone store. Sarrians is a quiet little village with easy access to Avignon, Arles, St. Rémy, many markets and fields of sunflowers, lavender, and vineyards. Don't miss Les Baux de Provence! 5 stars to our wonderful hostess and her beautiful home!

Grande Villa très propre et bien équipée

L Accueil à notre arrivée (et départ) a été très gentil. La Villa est très bien équipée et très propre, notamment au niveau de la cuisine. Rien ne manque! Le jardin est joliment fleuri, le côté piscine/plancha est bien agréable. La climatisation fonctionne très bien.

Excellent séjour

Trés agréable séjour dans la Villa Vanesse! Nous étions un couple avec trois enfants et chacun d'entre nous a passé d'excellentes vacances. La villa est très bien entretenue et spacieuse. Les espaces extérieurs sont trés agréable pour y passer la journée et profiter de belles soirées. Astrid est très à l'écoute et met un point d'honneur à contenter ses locataires. La Villa est égalemet très bien située avec beaucoup de calme et de nombreuses activités dans les alentours aussi bien pour les grands que pour les petits. Une adresse et une propriétaire à recommander sans hésiter!

Fantastic villa! Wonderful location and superb facilities

We had a lovely time in the villa and Astrid was a fantastic host. The heated pool was perfect and the villa itself was extremely well kitted out with everything we needed. The bed linen was clean and the beds were large and comfortable. The villa is a short walk from Sarrians which is a pretty village with nice bakeries, a little shop and a couple of nice restaurants. There are also lots of larger towns nearby if you felt like seeing and doing more. There isn’t anything we would have changed. It felt very homely and we were really sad to leave! We hope to come back again next year. Thank you Astrid for such a lovely holiday.

Girls vacation in Provence!

We just spent a multi generation girls only vacation at Villa Vanesse, my mom, sister, niece and her friends, and I can’t say enough about the place and its gracious owner Astrid. The house is well planned, with top quality equipment and furnishings and the exterior beautiful. We had almost all our meals al fresco out by the pool and a couple of evenings the girls grilled in the outdoor kitchen. Right from the time I contacted her last fall Astrid was extremely helpful and it was a pleasure to work with her. There were two bottles of rosé chilling in the fridge for us when we arrived, plus the fixings for breakfast the next morning, a welcoming gesture indeed... What more can I say, this is truly a haven of peace in Provence!

Propriété et prestations excellentes à tous égards

Les aménagements intérieurs et extérieurs sont de qualité et bien réfléchis. Il y a tout ce dont on pourrait avoir besoin. L’accueil et la gentillesse de la propriétaire sont à souligner, cela jusqu’à la présence à notre arrivée d’un panier garni pour un très bon petit déjeuner, plus du vin pour les repas suivants. En résumé, nous avons passés un excellent séjour.

Excellente location

Location très propre et très bien entretenue correspondant à la description. Accueil très chaleureux à notre arrivée: 2 bouteilles de vin et des viennoiseries nous attendaient. Le jardin, les 3 terrasses (2 bien ombragées) et la piscine sont très agréables. Nos petits-enfants ont particulièrement apprécié les jouets pour la piscine dont le toboggan. Nous avons beaucoup aimé la cuisine extérieure, notamment sa plancha. L'équipement de la cuisine est parfait et la décoration ainsi que le confort des sanitaires et des chambres à coucher ont contribué à faire de notre séjour des vacances de rêve. La température de la maison reste remarquablement fraîche, même par canicule. A recommander.

Herrliche Ferientage in einer schönen Villa

Der erste Eindruck war überwältigend: Die Zimmer waren liebevoll dekoriert, die Bäder waren bestens ausgestattet, in der Küche fehlte es an nichts. Aber vor allem der Garten mit den vielen blühenden Pflanzen, den Terrassen mit einer Menge schöner Tischchen und Sitzgelegenheiten lud zum Verweilen ein. Vor allem am Nachmittag nutzten wir den gepflegten Pool zur Abkühlung. Nachts war es absolut ruhig. Wir wollen auf jeden Fall im nächsten Jahr wieder hierher kommen.

6 Americans in Provence

Absolutely fablous! The villa was exactly as described. We were warmly welcomed by the owner, who could not have been nicer. We recommend this to all Americans as the owner is fluent in English and happy to answer questions, or solve any issues with a smile and a great laugh. The house was immaculately clean and perfect for a relaxing vacation taking day trips all around Provence. Great time!

Fabulous villa and excellent service

Villa Vanesse is a beautiful and charming villa. The location is secluded yet close to numerous places of interest... Avignon, many vineyards, Sorgues... so much to see! Many restaurants in the area to recommend as well, Chez Serge, Le Vivier... And should you want to cook yourself the kitchen and tools in the villa are first class. So much to see and do! But the villa itself, with the lovely heated pool tempts one to simply laze in your bathing suit (or without) and soak in the sun. Astrid, the owner, is as gracious and charming as the villa and when we had a problem it was solved so quickly it was a distant memory before we had to leave. A super spot to spend a vacation. Thank you Astrid!

Villa moderne magnifique dans un splendide jardin.... chaque chambre a sa salle d'eau et sa toilette. Cuisine extérieure très fonctionnelle et cuisine intérieure super équipées Tout est pensé pour passer de très bonnes vacances. Plusieurs terrasses pour pouvoir profiter du soleil tout au long de la journée. La propriétaire est extrêmement gentille et n'hésite pas à vous donner tous les trucs, astuces et adresses intéressants. Bref endroit idéal... j'y retournerais les yeux fermés
