Perfect stay at the crossroads of scenic roads in the Texas Hill Country. Restored country home on Hwy 16, a year round favorite road for bikers, hikers and Hill Country enthusiasts. Sleeps up to 10 with 3 bedrooms, two full baths, a fully equipped country kitchen and living area and den. (Base rate for 4-6 guests includes 3 bedrooms - The Blue Room, Flag Room and Sunflower Room plus 2 full bathrooms, but Den with TV and king sleeper may be added at 7-10 guest rate - see bedroom descriptions and rates) You will also enjoy the outdoor picnic, portable grill and firepit with plenty of room to stargaze or bbq. Ideal for family gatherings, motorcyclists traveling together or just a weekend friends getaway. 15 minutes from Bandera, 25 minutes to Kerrviille, 30 minutes to Lost Maples Natural Area and an hour to Garner State Park, Fredericksburg or San Antonio. Each room uniquely decorated. Central Air/Heat for that everchanging Texas weather. You will love Medina with homemade apple pie, bbq and pasta/pizza just a stroll away from the house. Plenty of parking. Washer/dryer room can be rented as extra. Family reunions, group bbq or other gatherings ok but visitors who are not guests may not stay after 10 pm. Rental does not include upstairs unit which can be rented separately (VRBO 2958147). 50 amp hookup available at nominal rate for guests of Apt or House.

We love Medina and ate a lot of ice cream at the Apple Store followed by lovely meals at the courts. The house was a great size for us and the bedroom layout suited.

Everything was perfect! Comfortable beds and seating, plenty of kitchen supplies, rocking chairs on the front porch, easy check-in, and responsive hosts!We loved our stay!

Great Home, Great Location

Home was just as described. Spotless, very clean, comfortable and great location and price. Right on 337 scenic route and 10 minutes from Bandera. Property manager was great

Hill Country retreat

Medina is a small hill country town (dry so BYOB if that's your preference). The house is close to the road and bikers, porsches, mustangs and vintage vehicles drive past while touring the Hill Country. We really enjoyed watching them, the many deer that live in Medina and the beautiful sunsets from the front porch. House was lovely, spacious and immaculate.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

Not everyone needs to sleep 10 people, but still may want all the amenities and character of this unique Medina country home on Hwy 16 for a lower rate . We have made this rental adaptable for smaller or larger groups by adjusting the rooms by number of guests. The base rate is for 4-6 guests and will include the Blue Room (queen) and the Sunflower Room (two twins and pull out queen) and Flag Room (king) along with the common area living/dining room, country kitchen and two full baths. Guests may choose to add the Den (TV and king sleeper sofa) at the 8-10 guest rate to sleep more guests or just to have more amenities. Just put the number of guests in the registration to see the final rate. Based on $30 per night per guest number over 6. Please contact us if you have a special situation and we will try to work it out.
