Sisters Trip

Location was great. Had to hold the handle down to flush toilet. Not enough towels and wash rags. Garbage was far to bring out. overall a nice place to stay. I would definitely stay there again.

Good location but needs a good cleaning.

The building was in a great location. Needs a very good cleaning. My kids feet were black from running around. Bedroom by the balcony had hundreds of lady bugs crawling around. Toilet paper rolls holders were broken in both bathrooms. Definitely needs some updates and thorough cleaning.

TLC

Closet door off hing. Mold on the inside of the shower door in the master bathroom. Hair on shower door. Ceiling fans rock bad. Kitchen chairs are stained.

It wasn’t clean, very dated, the furniture was broken, dishes were chopped, no blankets for the beds only thin coverlets. The washer was broken, the whole agitator was loose and came out. The dryer lint was completely full, not kinda full. Cakes in the trap. There was lint all in the closet, it was also nasty. The towels were gray and stained. The sheets were horrible, our bed was sagging and had a 2x4 underneath it. There was marker or something scribbled all over the bench in the master bedroom. The couches were tiny and uncomfortable, the decor was tribal, not like a condo in the Mtns at all. The door lock was temperamental and would take 2-3 times to unlock. The place was dusty and not kept up at all. Water poured on under the master bedroom French doors. The dishwasher front panel was held on by clear tape. The kitchen sink was slid to the side and there was moldy sponges underneath. The free attraction tickets weren’t free because they charged me for the one we used. We have stayed in 3 other units in those condos and this was nothing like those. 1402 needs major work and updates. Needs to be decorated to reflect the surroundings or just to make it feel welcoming. It was worse than a hotel.

Thank you for your feedback. We want to clarify that none of the issues you listed were reported during your stay—everything you described was only mentioned after the fact. The unit is professionally cleaned and maintained before every guest, and the following guests did not report any problems. Many of the claims, such as broken furniture, dirty dishes, and washer issues, are simply not accurate. It appears these concerns were made up after the stay, possibly in an attempt to seek a discounted rate. We take guest feedback seriously but also expect reviews to reflect the true condition of the property.

This is a great location and easy to access everything fun in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg but it is in desperate need of some TLC. I typically rely on reviews and couldn’t imagine this place was given a fair shake. While we don’t mind outdated or even old, we always hope for clean and comfortable. This condo is in much need of a thorough cleaning and some upgrades. The bathroom was filthy, shower scum and hair on walls, mold/mildew in the shower grout, toilet was hard to flush completely (two plungers for one toilet) and footprints even still on the bath mat. Beverage rings and sticky spots on tables so surfaces had obviously not been touched. The living room rug was black with dirt, walls and doors chipped and peeling, and the front door in need of repair. Beds were absolutely AWFUL. Felt like a trundle bed. Dirt and dead bugs on the floors and in the window/slider door casings. The amenities are not as described. The outdoor pool definitely not hot and it was also filthy. Lots of dirt and leaves in it. Trash can overflowing with rain water and garbage. The bathroom in the indoor pool area was not cleaned the time we were there. No toilet paper in pool house and wet floors with wet tissue on the floor. Cornhole boards were broken, no tetherball, hotshot pits not maintained and there was not the equipment for shuffleboard. This particular condo faces the road so quite noisy and bright at night. Traci was very responsive to the email I sent (and of my own fault and understandably I sent it too late). I just didn’t want want to disrupt anymore of our vacation that we had from cleaning some to be able to use the place when we got there.

The guest had a 5 night reservation. We were notified of her issues/concerns and she requested a refund at noon the day before departure. That means that she had been in the room for over 4 days before she reported her concerns. We know things can and will go wrong, so we have a policy that requires our staff is to investigate guest's concerns to try and solve them. We cannot investigate a problem after the guest has been in the unit over 4 days, unless the problem had recently occurred during the stay. I do agree, the unit does need to be painted. It is scheduled later to be completed this month, but the paint does not effect the cleanliness. As far as the amenities at the resort.... the reason why the outdoor pool was cold and had debris (a few leaves at the bottom) was because the outdoor pool had not been opened for the season yet during your stay. It obviously was closed. There were no chairs out, even a sign was on the pool. I'm not sure what more to say about that. Regardless, the indoor pool and outdoor jacuzzi were definitely open and heated. They were steps away from the outdoor pool. Thank you for staying with us.

Okay but

Property location is excellent for visiting the smokeys and all to do in Pigeon Forge. Let downs for my family was the fire-place did not work, didn't appear to have worked in some time. The heating system did not allow adjustment so the condo was a bit on the cold side the whole stay. Also, the entrance to the property was dark. All of Pigeon Forge was decorated festive and this property that was not lite in any manner (baughhumbug).

Ladies trip

Took my 86 yo mother in law and sister in law. Location was great! The condo itself needs some work though. Floors were dirty, area rug needs to be cleaned and mold and mildew in the shower. Furniture was nice, beds were comfortable, kitchen is stocked well with the essentials. Enjoyed the trip.
