Vackra rustika fem sovrum (7 TV), tre nivå stuga i prestigefyllda Hideout gated fyrstjärniga samhälle i Pennsylvania Poconos. Denna stuga ligger tvärs över gatan från Brooks sjön med säsongens sjöutsikt. Detta är ett familjevänligt hem med två paraplyvagnar och bärbara pack-n-spel tillgängliga för hyresgästerna.

Nedre plan: Har en färdig den med ett par skjutdörrar öppnar ut på framsidan av huset. Denna våning innehåller också en 47 "satellit-TV, en 100 cd-jukebox, video pekskärm 120 multispel enhet, air hockey flik, e och ett biljardbord. BR 1 har en drottning logg tillsammans med en 32 "LCD-TV och DVD-spelare, BR 2 har dubbla våningssängar med en 32" LCD-TV och en DVD, ett badrum med dusch, liksom en tvättmaskin och torktumlare.

Huvudnivå: Innehåller en matsal med ett stort anpassat matta bord och stolar / bänk för 8 fots cedertopp. ett vardagsrum med öppen spis (propaninsats med termostatstyrning), 50 "satellit-TV, videobandspelare / DVD-spelare. Köket är välutrustat med tallrikar, bestick, tallrikar, glas, samt en matsal bar med tre anpassade ceder avföring. Denna nivå innehåller också 2 sovrum; BR 3 - queen size logg säng med en 32 "LCD-TV och DVD-spelare, BR4 - queen size log säng och en 32" LCD-TV och DVD-spelare. Det finns också ett komplett badrum (badkar / dusch).

Övre plan: Innehåller ett stort loft med utsikt över vardagsrum / matrum, som kan användas som en 6: e sovrum och innehåller en soffa och en dator skrivbord. En stationär dator, internet och trådlösa tjänster tillhandahålls. Den luftkonditionerade sovrummet ligger också på denna nivå och har en egen ceder dubbelsäng och anpassade nattduksbord och byrå. Det finns också en 24 "LED-TV med satellit-service och en DVD. Befälhavaren bad innehåller en duschkabin, samt en överdimensionerad badkar.

Den 32 fot breda frontdäcket är en perfekt plats för sommargrillar och avkoppling med din familj eller vänner. Det finns två metallbord med stolar - sittplatser 12 personer. Det finns en extra 8 fot trä bord med fristående bänk sittplatser, för ytterligare 6 personer. Det finns två grillplatser på sidodäcket, precis utanför köket och huvuddörren. Huset har också 3 uppsättningar av golfklubbor för användning på (på plats) kurs.

Our stay with extended family was great! All the bedrooms and sleeping options were great for our 7 adults and 2 toddlers. The house and community had so much to offer it was great to do so much without spending a lot of extra money. Service was spotty so we were thankful for reliable wifi. The check in process was lengthy and their system couldn’t find our reservation at first which was a bit stressful, thankfully the property manager was immediately responsive and we got situated, but the toddlers were a hot mess waiting for us to get all of our vehicles and licenses into their system. It did take us a bit to get oriented to the community amenities, but once we did it was great! The only other negative was the basement sliding door wasn’t very secure, it seemed easily opened even when locked.

Check-in was easy and the house looked just like the photos, which we appreciated. However, there were a few things that the listing didn’t capture that impacted our stay. The basement had a strong musty smell, and the bedroom carpets were noticeably damp when we arrived. The dehumidifier was already full, which suggested this wasn’t a new issue. We ended up running it constantly and emptying it daily just to keep the space usable.There were also some cleaning oversights — toothpaste on the bathroom wall on the main floor, old water stains on the ceiling (which didn't help the overall feel of the house already), very heavy dust in spots on the deck (along with a dead bird that had clearly been there for a while), and a screen door that didn’t stay on its track. We even found leftover clothes in a drawer upstairs, which made it feel like the space hadn’t been fully reset for guests.The house worked overall, but at this price point in a community like The Hideout, the bar is a bit higher. With a little more attention to cleanliness and maintenance, this place could be great. Right now, it just feels like it's falling short of its potential.Thank you

Best first trip to the lake

Our families had a wonderful first experience at the Hideout! The house was the perfect fit and included everything we needed to feel at home for our visit. Information/pamphlets and guest passes were made easily available for amenities within the Hideout and locally around the area of Lake Ariel. Loved having the initial guest book when our trip was confirmed - very detailed and informative! Bob & Sharon have a lovely home and are wonderful hosts!

Overall we had a great stay! It was very spacious with 9 guests. Great location, in walking distance of one of the lakes to take in the view. Small car ride to the pool and part of the lake you can swim in. Had an amazing time in the swimming area. Tiki bar was enjoyable as well. The hosts were very responsive prior and after the trip.

Nice community. Not very clean

The hideout is cute and the lake is very relaxing. Also nice to have the pool as an option. This place was not very clean. Dirt and dust everywhere. Dead bugs under the beds. The beds on the main floor also very poor quality. One felt like just a boxspring. Host was very nice and easy to reach.

Great group getaway

This was a really fun house to stay in, perfect for our group which included 3 families--parents and kids. It had all we needed.A few things were challenging: the gated community the property is located in was a pain to get into and the vibe felt weird to us. It was not easy communicating with the management company when we needed to change the roster of who was coming. The driveway was too steep and icy for my little Prius to climb when we arrived so I parked on the street, and got a ticket from the gated community for my troubles. So not a perfect weekend.

The house was nice. It wasn't quite as secluded as we had expected. Getting checked into the gated community took some time as there was a long line of people waiting to register. The property manager was very helpful and quick to get back to us.

Great spot in the Hideout

This was our 4th or 5th year staying at this property, and we again had a great stay. They layout is perfect for a multi-generational group. The massive kitchen table allowed us to eat all meals together, and the multiple levels allowed us to spread out when we needed to. The owner was extremely helpful when we were trying to figure out the fireplace controls, as was the property manager. We definitely recommend!

Great Place, Great Amenities

Amazing wood work through the home made it feel like a cabin. Such fun juke box, pool table and shuffle board to thwart any boredom in a rain storm! Lake was so close with nice beach and pool (oh and a tiki bar)!! We even went to 10th hole on the golf course and had lunch at the pub and mini-golfed! Recommend for a family getaway!

Overall cleanliness

My wife and I were the first to arrive. We found the 3 bathrooms dirty. We hand to shop for cleaning supplies and spend the next 2 hours cleaning the bathroom floors, toilets, showers, and counter tops. The entire kitchen including the oven needed to be cleaned, not to mention the BBQ grill was filthy. After agreeing to the stipulations of the contract, a week before we were to arrive they told us to bring our own sheets or be charged an additional $75. Half way through our stay the WiFi stopped working. I contacted the management company and their response was that there was an outage in the area. Finally with more callers to the management company and 2 days with no service a repairman showed up and it was working in a few minutes. I am requesting a refund of the cleaning charges

Life Group Get-away

Home's location is great. Guests can see the end of Brookfield Lake and have easy access to stroll around it. Home was large enough to accommodate our party of 8 for both dining and sleeping needs.

Absolutely the best vacation!

The house was amazing and the host Bob was beyond what I expected! There was so much to do in the house, around the community and areas around Pennsylvania. The only disappointment was the beds, not that comfy, but other than that it was perfect, can't wait to come back!!!!

Overall was a nice stay

Nice roomy house in a good location. Close to Scranton and Lake Wallenpaupack for other activities. However, 1 TV remote did not work, the A/C filter in LR had not been cleaned and the red light was blinking until we cleaned it ourselves and there were many cobwebs in the lower level bedroom. The mattresses on the main level were not comfortable to sleep on. Sitting on the deck was wonderful. I had my morning coffee there every morning and we also sat out in the evening. House has many games available to play and lots of kitchen dishes, glasses and all kinds of utensils. The Ice maker in the refrigerator did not work and we had to go out to buy ice and ice cube trays. We left the trays for the next people. I feel since there was no ice maker, at least provide a couple of trays for the ice. WiFi worked well. The basement game room was a hit for all.

Lots of room for a multi-family vacation

Location is great, and the house has plenty of room for a large group. It's an older home, and there appears to be some deferred maintenance, but we were comfortable in it for the week. It definitely could have been cleaner upon arrival. Most of the mattresses are very hard, so we piled blankets under the sheets to soften them up a bit. The teenagers loved the game room! The owner and management agency were responsive when I had problems with the wifi and when one of the kids accidentally locked us out of one of the bedrooms. All in all, it was a nice stay.

Lake Ariel Family Vacation

This home was furnished with the most unique wood carved furniture. Bedrooms were as shown on pictures and for the most part comfortable. We had 11 family members with us one of which was 9 months pregnant. She had the baby the day after we returned from vacation. Outside of home could use some TLC. The Beaches were open, but the pools were closed which was a disappointment. First time at a gated community and the paperwork was 20 pages long. Probably won't be going back - mostly because we like to explore new places.

Great modest group vacation place

We had ten adults stay here for a long weekend. The house provided lots of comfortable places to hang out and watch movies, eat, and play games - exactly what we wanted and needed. The house isn't the fanciest place you can rent - it's a bit dated, and shows some wear. But it's not bad at all, and the price matches what you'd expect to get. The biggest thing we wanted was comfortable places to hang out, and it had lots of that! A few notable things: The master bath whirlpool wasn't working. The pool table sticks were all missing cue tips. The canopy over the outside grills was broken and in the way (but that may be due to recent ice storms). Other than that, everything was great.

Super clean home, lots of sleep space. Has a game room.

Had an amazing weekend in bobs property. There was plenty of sleep space and unlike many of the other homes this house had 4 bedrooms with queen sized beds which was perfect for us since we had 4 couples and didn’t have to pick straws to sleep on a bunk bed. The house has a pool table and shuffle board table in the game room. 3 bathrooms was also a big plus and a huge dinning table. The community ski slopes are only a 4 minute drive we had a blast can’t wait to go back.

Love the openness and space

We love that the place had three levels and the amount of games, and fireplace, and heating. The only issue we had was the snow storm where they could've removed the ice and salted it before we arrived. We had a few guess that fell, and we had a hard time getting the cars up the driveway. But the cabin was awesome!

My wife and I purchased the house in 2009 as a second home. We wanted our two children to grow up enjoying the outdoors. We chose the Poconos because it has something to offer for all four seasons.

The size of the house was perfect for us - 5 BR, 3 bath. We love how we can have friends/family up and each group could have their own floor of living space with a bathroom located on each of the three floors. We also love the location and the large deck.

We enjoy the lower level with the jukebox and pool table. It allows the kids, the men/women or everyone to go to the lower level if others wish to stay on the main level in a more quiet environment.
