"The Armadillo" cabin offers 1 bdrm with queen size bed, a full bath, fully equipped kitchen, dedicated parking and your own private deck, fenced yard! We also have a fold out full size couch in living room to sleep two more people if needed. If you're looking to be near everything Austin has to offer, but feel like you are hidden away in the beautiful Hill Country...LOOK NO FURTHER! Nestled away on 2 gated acres with lots of nature, shared pool, covered patio & fire pit ready to enjoy!

The space
We currently have 9 total cabins/airstream rentals available at "The Cabins at Rim Rock" so if you need more than 1, please let us know. You'll find them listed as "The Bison", "The Longhorn", "The Steel Magnolia" Airstream, "The Fawn", “The Coyote”, “The Cardinal” and "The Fox", “The Bobcat” so search under these names or 78737 zip code and you'll see more if you need them. Perfect for family and friend gatherings! Please note there is some construction noise going on at neighboring lots so we have lowered our prices to reflect that in case you hear any. Seems to be mostly weekdays however.

Armadillo Cabin

Armadillo cabin worked out perfect for us. Cabin was well equipped and clean. Everything worked!! Property was well maintained. Swimming pool was perfect for those hot days!!

Everything it was advertised to be.

We went in February for our friends’ wedding and stayed two nights. It was everything it was advertised to be. Obviously, it was small (it’s a tiny house) but it was enough room for the two of us and had everything we needed. It was convenient to visit Austin, too.

Weekend get away

Second time at this property, chose a larger cabin and it made the difference in a big way. Ease of everything and anything we needed the managers were (as usual) quick to respond. Pool was great, Grill was tip top, and all around made for a pleasurable and memorable visits. Thanks for the cabin and we'll work on staying at one of the others on our next trip.

Very useful for our purpose except for temp and TV info

The little house was nice, clean, the property well managed, and all we needed was at hand. We only had two issues: 1) we couldn't get local TV (that we could figure out), and more importantly, 2) the weather turned very warm during our visit. The AC just couldn't manage it until well after dark. The problem seemed to be either too little Freon - because the unit was working, or the window over the sofa needed some shade to keep out the sun in the afternoon - or both. Otherwise, it was a good stay. We were going to a wedding in Dripping. The location was great for that - but would be some challenge coming in and out of Austin.
