This place is amazing!!! So clean, location is excellent, property owner very kind and was easy to get in touch with. We will stay again next time we are in the mountains!!!!

We loved the house and it was so close to everything!

We will definitely stay here again! The pool table and foosball table was a hit for my 4 year old! And we were close to all the places we went for the week for my sons baseball tournament! We enjoyed our trip so much! Everything was just as described at the house!

Quiet and fun.

This home was in a great location and was very spacious. I loved the small things that made us feel at home. There is great yard space for our boys to run and play ball. We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful home

We had a great time, this was the second time we have stayed here. We visited 2 different flea markets. We mostly just hung out at the house. I love sitting on the back porch, it was so peaceful. We will be back on our next trip.

Great Vacation

Everything was great. It was just as described. The location allowed us acces to the Smokey mountain National Park as well as Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. We all enjoyed the pool table and board games. It was clean and comfortable. The kids

Good for families

I rented this property for my mother to visit her grandkids who live nearby. Sleeping accommodations were perfect for kids. Board games at the property were a nice addition. Large yard. Very clean. Right off the interstate for easy traveling to tourist destinations.

Our stay

House was very clean and was very accessible to gas, groceries and restaurants along with entertainment. There is some noise at night from freeway traffic. I would recommend bringing your own bar of soap for showering. It was nice to unwind with a few games of pool. Overall stay met our requirements.

Awful experience

This property is in an awful location. We booked 6 nights but had to leave after two due to loss of electricity and water (frozen pipes). We were then personally blamed for those issues and told we should’ve stayed anyway. It was suggested we try to thaw the pipes under the home ourselves before a plumber was contacted to fix the problem. Considering the temps outside were well below freezing, we felt cutting our trip short was the best idea.

This “guest” is our cousin. They wanted to stay for free during Christmas week. Upset that we wouldn’t do that and had them book through VRBO because we had a feeling they would destroy something. After being asked 4 times to leave water dripping in freezing temps, they did not and froze pipes. They offered to try to fix what they had done, but I called a plumber and paid over $1200 to make repairs. They were asked to stay since it was being repaired and they refused. They said they already paid for a hotel and couldn’t get a refund. Then had the audacity to ask for a refund from us after doing major damage and staying for half the trip. Been like this his whole life. Beware. If he’d do it to family, he’ll do it to you.

Quick Trip

For the most part the property was an ok stay. Communication with the owners was easy, as they responded quickly. Location was decent, it is on a little backroad so if you are coming in at night it is dark and hard to see. The stairs leading up to the porch are needing to be redone, we all had issues with them during the stay. There is a ramp on the back of the property but it's hard when you have someone with you who does have mobility issues. The house inside was nice, but does need a few things taken care of. There were ants in the main bathroom. The third bedrooms twin bed was noisy and the bunkbed/futon wasn't very secure. The other two bedrooms were nice, and clean. The shower in the master suite is very small and hard to turn around in. It was nice having a pool table for some entertainment other than watching TV. The setups of the two bedrooms were nice and there was plenty of places to put our items. Overall it wasn't a bad stay.

Seems like you had a great stay. You stated that you loved the place in your texts to me. Not one other guest has had a problem with the 4 steps in the front, and we have hosted several people in wheelchairs that love the wheelchair ramp in the back. I’m not sure how we could possibly be more accommodating than that? Well, as they say, I guess you can’t please everyone.

Family Time

There were plenty of towels. Plus, dishwashing soap, sponge, and hand soap were also provided. The beds were comfortable. I had several questions because I had not used VBRO before. The owner was kind enough to answer all my questions before we got there. I was surprised the house was in such a country type neighborhood setting, but it was close to the interstate yet still easy to get to Gatlinburg. We had to be careful going up to the porch because bottom step is angled down. One day after it rained, ducks from a neighbor come into the yard to feast. It was very cute! My family really enjoyed playing pool. The yard is huge if you want to throw a ball around. There aren’t any local channels on TV, but we were too busy spending time together to worry about TV. I’m sure there were channels to watch, but we didn’t care to watch anything. Thanks for the great stay! We will be back if it’s available on our next trip!

I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel it's important to share our experience. The home itself was as advertised, but it was not clean upon arrival. We found dead bugs on the floors and in the tubs, and there was hair on the linens. While disappointing, those issues were not the primary reason we left.There was an honest mistake during the booking process regarding the number of guests. At no point did our group exceed the property's maximum occupancy. As soon as the issue was brought to my attention, I immediately acknowledged the mistake, explained what had happened, and attempted to update the reservation through VRBO. Unfortunately, VRBO would not allow me to modify the guest count after booking.Within minutes of our midnight arrival, the hosts began messaging me after watching us on the Ring camera. Rather than working with us to resolve what was clearly an honest misunderstanding, they continued to berate me for the next 12 hours. The constant surveillance and confrontational communication made us feel scrutinized instead of welcomed.The experience became so inhospitable that we decided to leave immediately. By that point, I wasn't even interested in pursuing a refund—I simply wanted my family to leave an environment where we no longer felt comfortable.A little grace and respectful communication would have made all the difference. Unfortunately, because of the cleanliness issues and the way we were treated, I cannot recommend this property.

We are a family of four from Louisiana. We love the Smoky Mountain area and visit as often as possible. We enjoy the dinner shows, museums, snow, and of course, the mountains!

Varför värden valde detta boende

We love this property for its central location, and safety. Its close enough to get to the action and close to the interstate when its time to get back home. No worries about driving up or down the steep and winding roads of the mountains when leaving or returning for the day.
