Perfect house for us to visit our son at Colby- Sawyer college. 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms upstairs, the bunk bed room is on the first floor. Bunk beds are full size not twins which was nice! Fully stocked kitchen and and very dog friendly with bowls for food and water. We will be back!

The Sunapee Barn Retreat is a fantastic vacation home. Well appointed and exactly as described, its central location is great for day trips in any direction. Or there’s plenty to do nearby at Mount Sunapee, Sunapee State Park Beach, Dewey Beach or Sunapee Harbor. Super easy process start to finish, great owners and immediate replies from the local caretaker when needed. In our case, the trip was low key and easy and we never needed any assistance, but great to know it was on call 24/7. Dog and kid friendly set up too. Would rent again!

Best place we have stayed

I was here with my girls and their kids to visit my mom and my sister who live in NH and havent got to visit in 4 yrs. Was the perfect space for everyone to visit and spend time together. Everything was perfect as far as space and beauty and luxury.

Wonderful Getaway

My family and I stayed to attend the Colby-Sawyer College graduation. We had a wonderful stay. The house was beautiful, comfortable, clean & had everything we needed. Both the host and local co-host were easy to communicate with. Would definitely stay here again & recommend to friends and family.

We absolutely loved our time in this cottage. The kitchen is beautiful and user friendly. The rooms are spacious and modern. The master bath is luxurious. And Sunapee is our favorite place in the whole world do the setting was perfect.

Luxurious Accommodations

This is a beautiful home! Stunning interior design includes handsome furniture, high-end appliances in amazing kitchen and gorgeous bathrooms. It is very roomy and comfortable. The cleanliness was very much appreciated!

Home away from home

Just bring your toothbrush and enjoy! Very clean, fully stocked kitchen and plenty of games for family fun. It’s a beautiful house near the lake and beach. The hosts were lovely and always available. We will definitely book again!

Beautiful barn home

Great layout for family ski get together. Home was in great shape and well stocked with appliances, dishes, etc. Bedrooms were all nice with excellent bedding & towels. We’d certainly plan on coming back next year…..maybe staying longer!

Great choice!

We are so happy we chose this home to stay at. The house is even better in person than photos. The description is accurate and the location truly offers something for everyone. Well stocked and clean! Check in/out was very easy and hosts are very welcoming and easy to contact. We would definitely stay again and recommend to family and friends!

Beautiful and comfortable house!

Enjoyed our long weekend at this lovely home. It was well equipped and comfortable. The great room was fun to hang out in after skiing - dinner going in the kitchen, a puzzle set up on the far side of the huge island, and football on. The beds were very comfortable and having individual heating in each room made both everyone happy. Hope to come back next winter!

Weekend Get away

House was absolutely gorgeous, and exactly like how the pictures and description are. Very roomy, the rooms were amazing and booking and check in and and out were the easiest I’ve had to date. The owner answers every question in a timely manner and communication is amazing. 10/10 would highly recommend renting this property for a get away of rest and relaxation or a gathering of friends.

Beautiful home in fantastic location

We had a wonderful stay at this home. The house layout was very spacious with plenty of room, a big kitchen/countertop which we enjoy, a huge garage to fit our truck (which is rare), comfortable beds, and was very clean and well appointed! From a location persepctive, it was ideal, between both sunapee town and skiing and new london. There were a couple issues when we first got there, we really appreciated the responsiveness of the owner to address. We'd recommend and would stay again when in the area!

House in Sunapee

We were in Sunapee to visit our daughter, so this was a family trip. The house was lovely. Kitchen had everything you can imagine. I feel bad I can't remember the ladies name but, she came to check if we needed anything. The only negative, inside the book the pass for the beach was for 2022 which was no biggy. We still went and no one said anything.

Beautiful lakeview property

We stayed the third week of August. Everything about the listing was accurate. Shaheer was a great host and informed us that the local cohost would be the contact person if we had any needs or problems, and he was also available should we need him. The house was more beautiful in person. Instructions on how to use the mini split units were clear and easy to follow. We were very comfortable. There was ample space to be together or to have privacy. The guidebook helped with local attractions and restaurants. We appreciated all the eco friendly furnishings throughout the home.Beds were great! If we come back to the Sunapee area we would definitely want to stay here again.

Great house!!

The house had a great modern renovation, and was well stocked. Kitchen had lots of high-end supplies that made our stay and cooking multiple meals for several people very comfortable. We loved the large open floor plan and plenty of room for everyone to hang out together. Also love that every room has its own mini split (we stayed during some very hot days) so temperature could be controlled individually. There’s also an adorable upstairs sitting area that had toys for kids to play with. Only thing that could’ve made this stay even better is if there was direct access to the lake without having to drive. However, the cute public beach that they provide a parking pass for, was a great place to hang out on the hot days we were there. I would definitely recommend this property for larger groups, with or without kids who want to be able to all hang out together. Lastly, The host was kind and easily accessible. Great property!

Our family of 9 (ages ranging from 4 months to retirement age) stayed for 7 days to attend a family wedding. We appreciated there being a pack-and-play for our baby to sleep in as it was one thing we didn’t have to lug from home (although we forgot to bring a crib sheet for it and didn’t find one there). The house was well appointed and had a great layout for the family dynamic (one bedroom downstairs with the kitchen and family area) and rest upstairs. The kitchen had all necessities and more. There were plenty of toys and games which the kids loved. There were even sand toys in the garage for use at the beach! The mini-split air conditioners were awesome (allows every room to control their temperatures individually). Proximity to Lake Sunapee and surrounding area is great, everything is 20 mins or less. If I had to come up with some constructive feedback, it would be limited to requesting a few additional pillows in the closet. Thank you for a great stay!
