Twisted Timber Lodge is a 4-bedroom cabin with plenty of space for large families and friends. Spacious wrap around porch with stunning views of the mountains, covered deck with wood burning fireplace, smart tv, and comfy furniture, fire pit, hot tub, porch swing, grill are just some of the ways to enjoy yourselves outdoors.

Spacious floor plan with large windows and fireplaces (Please note that gas fireplaces in this cabin are only operable September-April as they heat entire cabin.) on every floor to enjoy the mountain views in any weather. The main floor features an open living space with comfortable seating, smart tv, as well as a large dining table. Well stocked kitchen with modern appliances and farmhouse sink makes mealtime a breeze.

The main floor also features a King size master suite complete with sitting area and private door leading to the wrap around porch. Attached master bathroom features a double vanity, walk in shower, and large soaking tub.
Upstairs holds an open loft area with a nice office space and sitting area. You will also find two bedrooms and a bathroom. One bedroom features bunk beds which is great for kids. The other bedroom features a queen bed as well as a cute loft area containing a twin bed. Both bedrooms are equipped with their own smart TVs.

The lower level contains the game room including pool table, infinity game table, arcade (over 15,000 games!!), bar, smart tv, and gas fireplace for lots of fun indoors. The bedroom on the lower level has another king bed, sitting area, smart tv, and attached bathroom. You will also find a convenient laundry room with full size washer and dryer. This level walks out to the covered patio with hot tub, fire pit, charcoal grill, and large porch swing all overlooking the beautiful mountains.

2025 Family Winter Break - 4 Generations

Everything at this property was perfectly appointed. We regret the weather didn't allow us to enjoy the outside amenities. But, there were enough indoor amenities/activities that we still had an amazing stay. We will definitely return.

Spectacular holiday getaway

The cabin is breathtaking and was perfect for our group of 7. We have been doing this trip for 5 years and this is about favorite cabin! Game room was amazing and had something for all of us to do collectively - kitchen was awesome for baking cookies and homemade meals - location was ideal for day trips and the hosts were very receptive and amazing to deal with!

Friend’s Getaway

We had an amazing time visiting GA. The location of the house was perfect and the interior was beautiful. Our children enjoyed the downstairs as it was equipped with a pool table and gaming system. We all enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit and the views from the porch were gorgeous. The hosts were very attentive, checking in to make sure we were settled. Highly recommend this house. We hope to return in the near future.

Mountain Memories

Our family of 10 had a wonderful vacation. The cabin was probably the best we’ve ever stayed in. Hosts were so nice and accommodating. We will definitely consider returning to this cabin in the future.

Relaxing mountain weekend

We had a wonderful time! The cabin is great! It was a pleasure to have such a nicely stocked kitchen. We enjoyed the fire pit, outdoor fireplace and the game room! We took short trips to Vogel State park and Living Water winery and recommend visiting both while staying here.

Impressive Home!!!

Our family visited the Blue Ridge area from June 18th to the 23rd. We were very pleased with this beautiful home which was clean, peaceful, and had wonderful views. The home had very high quality furnishings, and was custom built with beautiful wood throughout. It had everything we needed for both the adults and kids, to include a spacious outdoor deck, open kitchen and family room, fire pit, hot tub, pool table, game room, and more. The owners were also friendly and responded quickly to our questions.

Amazing place

Everything was perfect, from the communication to easy access to the beautiful home and it's amenities. Can't say enough about the views and so close to activities. The host was very attentive. If you are staying in this area and you don't stay at Twisted Timber, you are missing out!

8 star vacation with Grandkids

The cabin was well appointed and our stay was beyond great. My wife and I brought 5 grandkids aged 9 to 17 and everyone had a great time. The infinity game board arcade and pool table was such a draw they didn't want to leave the house. It felt like we were the only ones on the mountain. No complaints, not one. Great cabin! If you rent this cabin yo won't be dissapointed. Thanks again We will be back!!1

Perfect Family Getaway

We had an absolutely fabulous time at this cabin! Just a few of our favorites were the amazing views, the many different game room options (including a really cool electronic game table), the outdoor fire pit AND outdoor fireplace, and the HOT TUB! The cabin amenities were exactly as described on the listing, and one thing we liked the most is that it was only 1 mile off the main road to Blue Ridge (no long, windy roads to make the back seat passengers sick). We made so many memories with our kids, and have every intention of renting this cabin again. I would highly recommend!!

Gorgeous Home & Property!

The views were amazing. There was plenty of room for all 7 of us to hang out together…and separately. The kitchen was roomy, the furniture was comfy. The beds were AMAZING. Loved the tub and shower in the master! The downstairs pool room/bar was a lot fun to play games in. The hosts were attentive and quick to respond at all times. We will definitely book again!

Great Home

This was a great home located within a subdivision of Morganton that was close to everything. Well appointed, this home comfortably fit our 6 adults, 3 children and an infant, although no infant items were available (like crib, high chair, etc., which we did know in advance and were able to provide ourselves). So close to downtown Blue Ridge, hiking trails and wineries, we were able to keep everyone happy and busy. Thank you to the owners for providing their home to VRBO.

Beautiful home!

This property is outstanding! The home was extremely clean and well stocked for all our needs. Everyone had a great time in the game room, making s'mores on the outdoor fireplace and relaxing in the hot tub at the end of the day. There was plenty of space for 7 adults and 2 small children. Downtown Blue Ridge, fishing, hiking and swimming were just a short drive from the home as well. No one wanted to leave! We highly recommend staying at Twisted Timber Lodge...you will not be disappointed.

Beautiful and Relaxing

Had a wonderful stay with family and friends. We had 5 adults and 2 childen and had plenty of extra room. The cabin was very clean and had so much to do. We loved being able to have a fire on the porch while watching a movie and making smores. Hot tub was also extremely relaxing although there is a little skunk who likes to join at times. Highly recommended this property for those who want to stay in or be able to also go seek some fun adventure! If you have small children I highly suggest bringing a baby gate or a few. Enjoy your next getaway!

All new everything! Big and spacious. Super clean and neat property. Very quiet, gated community. Lots of entertainment for adults and young children in and out of the cabin. Great for a cozy family get-away in the mountains. Every year we take the family to a North Georgia cabin, so we have seen a variety of cabins, from “amazing” to “why did we book?”. And everyone agreed, this is one of our two favorite cabins we’ve been to! The host was very friendly and responsive, very helpful. We will definitely recommend this cabin to all our friends and family.

Best vacation ever

By far, one of the best vacations we have ever had. Totally recommend. This cabin was unbelievably beautiful. Quality of materials used to build this cabin are are just beautiful, on top of choices of decor in each room and not to mention all of the amenities. Had such a great time playing pool and using the video games. Enjoyed fires in the fireplaces and fire pit. Everything we could have needed was there. As amazing as it was, we did have a few problems though. We booked for 9 guests and only had one bath towel per person for only 8 people. More towels would have been nice. I did have a problem initially with the cleanliness of the kitchin, main floor bathroom, tv's and windows. I did take pictures immediately, if the owners would like for me to send them. Just our opinion....but, it seemed like the cleanig service was definitely someone very inexperienced. But, we all recleaned everything and our vacation was great.

Absolutely AMAZING!

There are not enough positive words to describe this cabin! We hail from South Florida and wanted a relaxing getaway and a new place to explore. This cabin EXCEEDED ALL OF OUR EXPECTATIONS! Communication with the owners was very easy, from before arrival to our departure. Driving up to the cabin was also a breeze and it's just a short drive to Blue Ridge. We loved that the cabin is in a private gated community... we're all about privacy, and this community was so quaint and peaceful. The little library inside the front of the community entrance was such a charming addition to donate and pick out books. The cabin was very clean and just as pictured in the posting. The interior of the cabin is so well designed and well thought out for guests,from the main living area, to the game room and the outside patio with the swing bed, jacuzzi and fire pit. We spent every day enjoying each part of the cabin. The owners have their very own app with instructions on accessing the property, to using the fireplaces, jacuzzi, games and departure. Everything was very clear and concise. I'm a very organized person, and immensely appreciated the clarity. Blue Ridge and the surrounding areas are so beautiful and we couldn't get enough of the peace and tranquility. We went to several different restaurants in Downtown and took a drive over to Helen, we became enamored with everything Northern GA had to offer.We loved the cabin so much, we will definitely be planning another trip back to this cabin.
