Unique MidMod Apartment in heart of Hendersonville NC

This unique and updated 1950's house has everything you want in a mountain town vacation rental. Beautiful and cozy inside and out. Plenty of space for 2 -4 people or even a family of 6 who wants to use the pull out couch.

The dining room has a wall of windows (glass garage door) that looks out onto an outdoor patio area and a gorgeous landscaped lawn bursting with colorful flowers and even edible fruits like blueberries and figs.

Large and beautifully landscaped front yard with patio. Off street parking in driveway that allows space for 2 or 3 cars.

The house is a duplex style, with a small living space with long term renters below this unit. The house is set up on a corner lot in such a lovely way that allows each unit to have separate driveways and entrances on opposite sides of the house. No spaces overlap, inside or out.

One mile walk or bike to downtown Hendersonville. Take a short and scenic drive to Asheville & world renowned National Forests.

Beautiful, cozy place

My boyfriend and I booked an overnight here, and we loved it! The host was easy to get ahold of and very accommodating. The place was so cozy and clean and the design itself was beautiful: lots of natural light, plants, and unique decor. Bonus: there were chickens! Definitely recommend.

Excellent rental close to downtown Hendersonville

Our family of 4 stayed in Hendersonville for a night and the proximity to downtown shops and restaurants was great. The place was clean, up to date, and met all of our needs. Would definitely recommend.

Beautiful Hendersonville home

The pictures don’t do it justice. The home has lots of light. Beautifully decorated. We loved the neighborhood and central location. A perfect spot from which to explore Hendersonville and the surrounding area.

Great weekend with friends!

The property was very cute and tastefully decorated. Very clean. Many thoughtful touches. Easy to get in and out. We felt very safe in the neighborhood. It was a 1 mile walk to shops and great restaurants. Would stay here again.

Attention to detail

The owners made our stay delightful with their attention to detail. Everything was so thoughtful right down to leaving grocery bags and fresh eggs for us. Super clean and great location! We will be back!

Perfect location

The neighborhood is adorable, quiet, safe, and walkable. This house was great for two couples. Each bedroom had privacy and the rest of the house was spacious enough for 4 people to not feel on top of each other. We loved the mid-century style of the house too! We did not hear the downstairs tenants at all.

MidMod is perfect!

MidMod provided the perfect spot for a two-night girl gathering! The house was clean, comfy and a cool place to be! The renovations to the place are on spot. We loved the sitting area out front and the special touches such as chocolates, coffee, and fresh eggs! The beds were comfy, too! Melissa was helpful in suggesting different restaurants and was pleasant to work with. We would definitely return to MidMod!

BEST VRBO EVER

This house was the best rental we have stayed in ever! We loved the layout - having 3 separate sleeping areas was perfect for our family with 2 teens. We very much appreciated the mid-century decor which was both functional and stunning. There are details which made everything better, like the splash guard in the microwave and the colored bands for mug identifiers. We enjoyed saying good morning to the chickens every day. Having fresh eggs on the first morning was awesome. We have family in town and will definitely stay here the next time we visit.

Easy stay on the outskirts of downtown Hendo

The only real negative was how the photos and description made me think I was renting a single family house with a back yard but it's actually a duplex built into a hill with other tenants on the bottom floor with a separate entrance and driveway and our yard was in the front. It ended up not being a big deal. I liked the home layout and the downtown shops were only a 3 minute drive away. And there was a hose outside to clean my bike after a good ride at DuPont.
